Objectives : Comparison acupuncture treatment with Acupuncture & Moxibustion combined treatment for frozen shoulder 20 case patients Methods : Efficacy evaluation using Apley scratch test(ROM), Martin.A.N'Improvement rate Results : 1. Acupuncture & Moxibustion combined treatment group were better than acupuncture treatment group in Martin.A.N' Improvement rate. 2. Acupuncture & Moxibustion combined treatment group were better than acupuncture treatment group in Apley scratch test(ROM). but this study need to many case frozen shoulder investigation.
It has been generally known that shoulder pains are attributed to the degenerative changes around the shoulder joint. However, many patients who complain of pain or limited range of motion of the shoulder have no definite pathology on X-ray or laboratory examinations. I examined 134 patients with shoulder pain and found the fact that compression of the axillary nerve, which leads to contraction of the deltold muscle or teres minor muscle, resulted in pain and limited range of motion in many cases. Accordingly, relieving the compression of the axillary nerve by laser stimulation or local anesthetic infiltration on the identified trigger point, anti-inflammatory medication, muscle relaxant together with ordinary physical therapy was found to be very effective in the treatment of shoulder pain.
Two techniques were compared to test their effectiveness of frozen shoulder. The study was 20 cases of frozen shoulder who were treated at the department of physical therapy at Kum ma clinic during 6 months from 1 July, 1994 to 30 December, 1994. The treatment methods were application Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation(PNF) and General Exercise(Pendulum exercise, Scratch exercise, Overhead pully, Shoulder wheel). The results obtained from these cases were as follows; 1. The subjects were 8(40 %) males and 12(60 %) females. The largest group was $50{\sim}59$ years of age 8 persons(40 %). 2. The majority of patients came for physical treatment within $7{\sim}10$ months after onset of shoulder pain(10 presons or 50 %) and 11 months after(4 persons or 20 %). 3. PNF cases recovered in average of 23 days and G - E cases 32 days. Also, the PNF method showed the best results in treatment of frozen shoulder better than the G-E.
This paper reports treatment effect by Thera-Band for two cases of Frozen shoulder. The purpose of study was to introduce treatment effect by Thera-Band for frozen shoulder. Case 1 Total amount of an increase of range of motion of shoulder joint were about 55 degrees in flexion, 60 degrees in abduction and 50 degrees in external rotation and the majority of those improvements were accomplished during three weeks of treatment by Thera-Band. Case 2 Range of motion of shoulder joint were accomplished Normal Range of Motion during one week of treatment by Thera-Band.
It was the Study for more deep understanding about the Frozen shoulder by literature investigation. The following result were obtained. : 1. The reason of Frozen shoulder is inflamatory reaction, degeneration, continual fixing, injury, etc. 2. The symptom of Frozen shoulder is shoulder pain, night pain, limit of joint movement. 3. Frozen shoulder is classified primary and secondary types and in the oriental medicine, is classified six types by the three Yin&Yang channels of the hand 4. Jackin's exercise or codman's exercise is used for kinesiatrics. 5. $Ky\check{o}njong$(SI9), nosu(SI10), $ch'\check{o}njong$(SI11) are in commonly used acupuncture point. 6. It is used to the Tongbihanseungbang, Small-intestine jeong kyuck in SA-AM Acupuncture. 7. It is used to the TrPs of subscapularis in MPS. 8. It is used to Frozen shoulder the Sin-kwan, Sahwajung, etc. in Dong-si Acupuncture. 9. It is used the I, HO or HN to Frozen shoulder treatment in Herbal Acupuncture. 10. Using the Electro-acupuncture, we select the point according to the channels. 11. Cupping or Moxibustion is commonly used with Acupuncture. 12. Commonly used recipes are Seokyungtang, Oyacksungisan, Banhakumchultang, etc.

Today, the incidence of illnesses due to a lack of exercise, such as lack of exercise in the 20s and 30s, 40s menstrual period, and 50s in the fifties, is increasing every year, because of the introduction of new technologies such as smartphone development,And the pattern of life according to it changes conveniently and the amount of activity decreases, and the lack of momentum has a great influence. I would like to study new mixed reality healthcare service products by merging the existing human smartphone with mixed reality. This is not merely showing the numerical value of the momentum by attaching to the human body like the existing healthcare product,And to measure and analyze the amount of exercise to help people to manage their health.

Background: The research examined the effect of a scapular stabilizing exercise on shoulder pain, active range of motion (AROM) and changes in the position of the shoulder blade of patients with frozen shoulder. Methods: General physical therapy and a scapular stabilizing exercise were applied to a 53-year-old female patient with frozen shoulder three times a week for four weeks. Before and after the therapy, measurements were made on the visual analog scale (VAS) and of the AROM, and a lateral scapular slide test was conducted. Results: Following the therapy, VAS fell from 7 to 3. Before therapy, flexion, abduction, internal rotation, and external rotation recorded $133^{\circ}$, $102^{\circ}$, $45^{\circ}$, and $53^{\circ}$ respectively; after the therapy they increased to $150^{\circ}$, $123^{\circ}$, $55^{\circ}$, and $65^{\circ}$ respectively. The lateral scapular slide test showed sliding distances before therapy of 8.5cm at $0^{\circ}$, 9.2cm at $45^{\circ}$, and 11.3cm at $90^{\circ}$; after therapy, the distances decreased to 6.8 cm at $0^{\circ}$, 8.2 cm at $45^{\circ}$, and 9cm at $90^{\circ}$. Conclusion: The scapular stabilizing exercise was effective in alleviating shoulder pain, increasing AROM, and reducing changes in the position of the shoulder blade of frozen shoulder patients.

Background: Frozen shoulder is not an uncommon disease, which is associated with chronic pain and joint movement limitation. However, there are numerous devices to assist in the treatment of shoulder pain, but their efficacy has not been proven and their use remains immensely controversial. Therefore, a randomized clinical study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of a low-frequency stimulator for the treatment of frozen shoulder. Methods: A randomized clinical trial was carried out on 40 patients with frozen shoulder, with 40 patients assigned to two groups; a control treatment group (group C, n = 20) and a low frequency stimulator application group (group T, n = 20). Both groups were given a routine treatment modality, such as trigger point injection, intramuscular stimulation or suprascapular nerve block etc. The level of the shoulder pain was evaluated using a 100mm VAS (visual analog scale) at each visit, with the limitation in the range of motion simultaneously evaluated. Results: All the subjects improved after treatment, with the VAS scores after termination of treatment showed a statistically significant reduction (P < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference between the two groups. One month after termination of 5 cycles of treatment, group T maintained their improved state, whereas the pain in some of those in group C reemerged, which also showed a statistically significant difference (P < 0.05). The limitation in the range of motion improved, with most subjects able to resume daily activity. Conclusions: Although the low frequency stimulation provided no more pain relief than routine treatment, the effect was significantly prolonged. From this result, low frequency stimulation can be considered to aide the therapeutic effect of classical frozen shoulder therapy.

Background: This study examined the effects of nerve mobilization exercise and scapula postural correction exercise and scapula postural correction exercise after applying conservative physical therapy to frozen shoulder. Methods: Thirty-four outpatients were divided into a nerve mobilization exercise and scapula postural correction exercise group and scapula postural correction exercise group. Each group performed its own exercise 30 minutes per day, three times per week, for 6 weeks. Pain intensity was measured by the visual analogue scale. Range of motion was measured by the goniometer. The scapular position was measured by scapular index. Grasping power was measured by the Grip Track Commander. Measurements were made at baseline and six weeks after the intervention. Results: the visual analogue scale, range of motion (except lateral rotation), and grasping power for each group showed significant changes at baseline and six weeks after the intervention (p<.05). Significant differences were also evident between the two groups for these three measurements (p<.05). Conclusions: Nerve mobilization exercise & scapula postural correction exercise is more effective than scapula postural correction exercise for reducing pain intensity and increasing grasping power, scapular index and range of motion (except lateral rotation) in frozen shoulder syndrome patients.
Background : Patients with frozen shoulder have pain and limited range of motion (ROM) at the affected shoulder. Shoulder pain of these patients usually decreases with recovery of range of motion. The aim of this study is to identify effects of static stretching and hold-relax on recovering ROM and reducing pain of patients with frozen shoulder. Methods : In this study, 15 patients with frozen shoulder who were only treated with physical therapy were recruited. Patients who received any surgical procedure or hydrotherapy were excluded. The subjects were divided randomly into 3 groups; control(n=5), static stretching(n=5) and hold-relax(n=5) groups. Patients were treated with stretching and the total number of treatments was 12 times. The ROM was measured at baseline, after fourth, eighth and final treatments. Shoulder pain and disability index(SPADI) scores were assessed before and after doing all treatments. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to analyze ROM change within each group. Changes of ROM between groups was analyzed by one way ANOVA followed by post hot analysis(Tukey's HSD). SPADI score within each group analyzed using Wilcoxon signed ranks test. A p-value<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Study Design : Repeated measures design. Result : There were significant differences of ROM in both treatment groups except internal rotation of static stretching group. ROM was significantly increased in treatment groups compared with control group, but the difference of ROM change between two treatment groups did not differ significantly. SPADI scores for treatment groups significantly decreased compared with pre-SPADI score. Conclusion : The result suggests that hold-relax can be more effective than static stretching to recover range of motion and alleviate shoulder pain on patients with frozen shoulder.
