With the research, I'd like to present the fundamental materials for re-training and education for specialty. I Q-sorted 17 teachers based on the 36 statements which had been selected carefully. The results are following. The first type is the teacher who is aiming the specialized education. The teacher of this type needs to have the comprehensible knowledge on the child-development and seeks the teacher's specialty with self-supervision and study group. The second type is the teacher who is pursuing safety and protection for the children. The teacher of this type considers safety and cleanness very important and thinks that he or she should take care of the children by the cooperation with parents. The third type is the teacher who is heading for everyday's life and improvement. He or she thinks that teaching the child daily life is significant and by it, the child should grow up. The results of the research show us 3 points. The first, we need to re-design training program for the educare teachers. The second, we should prepare the manual for the teachers in accordance with the infants' growing-up. The third, we should understand the teacher's type and train him or her in accordance with the type.

In the past, in Korea, women often played the role of caring for their children, and women's participation in social activities was small. However, in recent years, more and more cases are entrusted to specialized institutions and teachers for infant education. These changes are positive in terms of gender equality and the enhancement of women's rights, but the burden on specialized institutions and teachers for infants and young children is increasing. The problems of abuse in early childhood education institutions that have recently appeared in Korea are emerging as a new social problem. This study attempted to understand which factors should be managed in order to be respected for the rights of children, and categorized the educational environment into psychological, work, and social factors to examine their influence and provide meaningful implications.

This study was to establish a framework to provide the necessary caring knowledge in preparental period by analyzing the effects of an experience of being a child-care teacher in a field based on child-care knowledge from university. The data were collected from 5 in-depth interviews for 7 weeks from July to August, 2015. The results showed that mothers who used to be child-care teachers put conversation first in the child rearing process, made a room environment similar to the activity space in a kindergarten, and evaluated themselves as mothers with a burden that their children should be different from the others. This means that they perform child rearing in a positive way by re-creating their experience and knowing the child rearing process.

The purpose of this study is to examined the relationship between child care teachers' science teaching efficacy and children's scientific attitude. Then, using the instructional creativity as a parameter to increase the quality of teacher-children interaction, we examined how the teacher-children relationship changed. In this study, 303 child care center teachers in Suwon, Gyeeonggi were surveyed. To analyze the data, structural equation modeling and Sobel-test were performed using SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 23.0. The analysis results showed that child care center teachers' science teaching efficacy had positive effects on the teachers' creativity and the children's scientific attitude. Furthermore, the creativity of child care center teachers had a positive effect on children's scientific attitude. The result of the Sobel-test revealed that child care center teachers's creativity played a mediating role between teachers' science teaching efficacy and children's scientific attitude and acted as a key variable in promoting children's scientific attitude. In conclusion, it has been identified that the creativity of the infant teacher's teaching is an important change that has a positive effect on the child's scientific attitude. Therefore, if education is provided to enhance the creativity of the professor when the infant teacher is working as a science professor at the same time, it can contribute to the quality of the child's scientific attitude.
This study analyzes the relative importance and priorities on the early childhood teacher's rights using hierarchical analysis process(AHP) and suggests the theoretical and practical implications. We conducted the survey of the practitioners and academics in order to provide comprehensive and balanced discussion on the area of early childhood teacher's rights and sub-factors. The results of analyses show that the professional authority is the most important rights of establishing the early childhood teacher's rights. Second, the results show that the rights to guide young children and to decide on a teaching method are more important than other factors in professional authorities. Third, the results indicate that the right to have an their identity and the right of claim for remuneration are more important than others in the Publicness. In the labor factor, the experts emphasize that the right to make union for early childhood teachers is more important than the right of teachers' union for bargaining. These confirm the difference of the perceptions of the relative importance and priority on the areas of early childhood teacher's rights and sub-factors between the practitioners and academics. Based on these findings, we discuss the implications for improving the early childhood teacher's rights.

Purpose: To investigate health problems in child day care centers, needs for Child Care Health Programs, and management of sick children by day-care staff. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study. Day-care staff (N=206) from 33 day care centers in Seoul, completed a structured questionnaire. Results: Almost half of the day-care staff (53.4%) experienced sick events in their child at least once a month. The most frequently reported difficulty in having a sick child was in not having a health professional to consult, and almost all day-care staff (99.5%) had asked parents not to bring a sick child to the day care center. The biggest reason of exclusion was due to infectious disease including measles, chicken pox, mumps, diarrhea·vomiting, and pink eye. The majority of day-care staff (97.6%) agreed that there is a need for Center-based Child Care Health Program (CCCHP), and expected general health & illness management, and special care for chronic disease from CCCHP. Conclusion: These results showed a high incidence of sickness in children in day care centers, and there were great demands for a Center-based Child Care Health Program for day-care staff. Also the results of this study can be utilized as a basis for the establishment of child care policy in Korea.
Purpose: To identify the effects of a training program on the knowledge of, attitudes towards child infection, and infection prevention behaviors in staff of daycare centers. Methods: A nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design study was conducted with 34 staff of 6 daycare centers over 3 months. The staff in the 3 centers designated as the experimental centers received the training program weekly for 8 weeks. The program included on-site education for one and half hours and monitoring of infection prevention behaviors. Knowledge and attitudes of the staff were measured, and their infection prevention behaviors were observed and recorded by research assistants before and after the program. $X^2$-test, t-test, Fisher's exact test, and Mann-Whitney U-test with SPSS Win program were used to analyze the data. Results: The group of staff who received the training program recorded higher scores in knowledge, attitudes, and their infection prevention behaviors compared with staff in the control group. Conclusion: This finding suggests that the training program had a significant impact on knowledge, attitude, and infection prevention behaviors of staff which could prevent child infection in daycare centers. Nurses need to be involved in daycare centers for the health of the children, and they could intervene effectively in child infections by using this program.
