A Study on PWM Speed Controller for Long line Fishing Motor (어로 작업용 연승기 전동기의 PWM 속도제어기에 관한 연구)

  • The long line fishing machine is combined with motor and two disc rollers has used on the small size fishing-boat under 1 ton located in near Jeollanam-do seaside. The long line fishing motor is controlled only one direction because the fishing line is loaded heavily at pulling up. On this paper we made the long line fishing 400W power motor controller which it was usually applied under 1 ton fishing boat, and designed the controller using PWM chip, Half bridge driver and MOSFET for one direction motor control. Furthermore some user convenience devices were added like battery indicator and safety protection circuit for battery overdischarge and battery source wire mismatch connection. So we protected the battery from overdicharging when the battery voltage was below 11.5V and fishermen didn't need to worry about source lines misconnection anymore. We confirmed the test version of controller was the good working condition at land and sea.

  • 본 논문에서는 자전거용 무단변속기를 개발하기 위해서 편심캠 방식을 적용한 무단변속기를 설계하였고 최적 설계 검증을 위해 3차원 유한요소해석을 활용하여 정적 및 동적해석을 수행하여 최적의 변속을 가지도록 설계에 반영하였다. 이러한 결과를 활용하여 새로운 변속구조를 가지는 무단변속기를 설계하였고 구조적으로 안정성을 평가 분석하였다.

  • 단 1차형 영구자석 선형 동기 전통기(PMLSM)는 디텐트력과 단부력에 의한 큰 토크 리플을 갖는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 영구자석 선형 통기 전동기의 디텐트력을 줄이기 위해 영구자석의 극수와 전기자의 슬롯수의 비를 변경한 새로운 구조의 단 1차형 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기를 제안하였으며, 단부력을 줄이기 위하며 고정자의 길이 조정 및 챔퍼링을 통하여 영구자석 선형 동기 전동기를 설계하였다.

Deep Learning based Object Detector for Vehicle Recognition on Images Acquired with Fisheye Lens Cameras (어안렌즈 카메라로 획득한 영상에서 차량 인식을 위한 딥러닝 기반 객체 검출기)

  • This paper presents a deep learning-based object detection method for recognizing vehicles in images acquired through cameras installed on ceiling of underground parking lot. First, we present an image enhancement method, which improves vehicle detection performance under dark lighting environment. Second, we present a new CNN-based multiscale classifiers for detecting vehicles in images acquired through cameras with fisheye lens. Experiments show that the presented vehicle detector has better performance than the conventional ones.

  • Reproductive cycle of the bay scallop, Argopecten irradians, transplanted from China on 16 August 1996, was investigated monthly until August 1997 in the Deukyang Bay, Jangheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, Korea. Sexuality of this species is hermaphrodite and oviparous, Monthly changes in the soft part weight index and adductor muscle weight (g) began to increase from October and reached the maximum in November, and then the values gradually decreased from December to August, The gonadosomatic index (GI) began to increase in March and reached the maximum in April. Thereafter, the values gradually decreased from May to December, The reproductive cycle of this species, transplanted in the south coast of Korea could be divided into 5 successive stages; early active (October to February), late active (November to May), ripe (February to May), spawning (May to June) with a peak in May, and spent/inactive stage (June to August).

  • The DSME guide plate(GP) has been developed with the target to improve the cavitation and vibration performance when used with discharging cooling water around the outlet of LNG carrier. It was proven that it could as well be applied as a powerful wake control device on its own, even without discharging cooling water. However, it has to be taken into account that it inevitably results in speed loss. This study shows the possibility to design a GP which simultaneously improves both vibration and speed performance. The study intends to outline how to design the preliminary GP configurations from both the vibration and the speed performance points of view. Further, the study offers design guidance for the hull form and the propeller when adapting GP as a wake control device.

  • This paper proposes the defect detection method for automatic inspection machines in printed circuit boards (PCBs) manufacturing system. The defects of PCB such as open, short, pin hole and scratch can be detected by comparing the standard image and the target image. The standard image is obtained from CAD file such as ODB++ format, and the target image is obtained by arranging, filtering and binarization of captured PCB image. Since the PCB size is too large and image resolution is too high, the image processing requires a lot of memory and computational time. The wavelet transform is applied to compress the standard and target images, which results in reducing the memory and computational time. To increase the inspection accuracy, we utilize the he HH-domain as well as LL-domain of the transformed images. Experimental results are finally presented to show the performance improvement of the proposed method.

  • The Automatic Korean license plate recognition (AKLPR) is used in many fields. For many applications, high recognition rate and fast processing speed of ALPR are important. Recent advances in deep learning have improved the accuracy and speed of object detection and recognition, and CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) has been applied to ALPR. The ALPR is divided into the stage of detecting the LP region and the stage of detecting and recognizing the character in the LP region, and each step is implemented with separate CNN. In this paper, we propose a single stage CNN architecture to recognize license plate characters at high speed while keeping high recognition rate.
