매체의 소유와 이용이 특정 계층의 전유물이던 예전과는 달리, 요즈음의 어린이들은 태어남과 동시에 자연스럽게 여러 종류의 매체들에 접하게 된다. 그 중 컴퓨터가 보급되면서 정보시대가 열리게 되었고, 인터넷이 급속도로 확산되면서 인터넷은 생활 속에서 커다란 자리를 차지하게 되었다. 인터넷은 전 세계를 동일한 공간과 시간으로 연결하면서 이전의 매체가 제공하지 못했던 즉각적 정보의 확산 인간관계의 확장과 의사소통 속도가 증가, 새로운 범세계적 커뮤니티의 형성을 가능하게 하는 등 긍정적인 영향뿐만 아니라 부정적인 영향에 대한 우려의 목소리가 높아지고 있는 가운데 'PC중독' 그리고 최근 들어 'PC방 중독' 현상에 대한 관심이 또한 고조되고 있다. 이에 중 고등 학생들을 대상으로 한 컴퓨터 중독 관련 연구는 상당수 이루어졌으나 초등학생을 대상으로 한 질적 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구는 초등학생들 대상으로 PC중독에 대한 질적 사례연구로 아동들의 PC중독의 문제와 상담방법을 질적 사례 연구방법으로 접근 하였다.

Research on how to develop information systems efficiently and effectively since early 1960s has resulted in many techniques, methods and methodologies. Only a few of them, however, have been successfully practiced in the field. Model-Driven Development(MDD) is an innovative approach emphasizing the central role of model for development activities, attracting many practitioners' attention as well as researchers'. As MDD matures, many researchers have been trying to establish the evidence of its effectiveness. But many of them only suggest lessons learned or report limited evidence of effectiveness based on isolated case studies. This paper reports the state of the art of Model-Driven Engineering(MDE) and its major issues. We reviewed a number of papers and collected the conceptual definitions of MDE effectiveness from the technological and organizational perspectives. A case study in which MDD technology was adopted has been performed in order to measure the effectiveness of MDD quantitatively and qualitatively. This paper also analyzes and summarizes key considerations and lessons learned for IT organizations to adopt MDE successfully from the case study.

Universities need to contribute to the sustainable development of their communities, with a primary purpose of education and research. Recently, the Economic and Social Impact(ESI), a measure of sustainability of universities, has been emphasized, but there is a lack of research on this. Therefore, this study examined the ESI indicators of existing universities and introduced cases of ESI development applied to K-university. In this study, we reviewed the ESI literature, analyzed domestic and international cases, and conduct an analysis of economic effect. As a result, we developed ESI indicators that includes both supply and demand side effects, and proposed an ESI assessment method that distinguishes the influence of universities and their impact on the community. Therefore, it is meaningful that this is a case of how universities measured ESI and how to use it. Future research will require advancement of the university's ESI assessment methodology, development of multipliers appropriate for the university, and comprehensive ESI indexing.

This study was carried out to investigate what kind of problems gender equality in Chinese married immigrant women have in marriage. We interviewed five Chinese marriage immigrant women married to Korean men for research. Using the case study method, which is a qualitative research method, five research participants analyzed gender equality awareness and gender equality conflict after migration. As a result, the marital conflicts, which are the difference of recognition of gender equality among married immigrant women, were different according to the family life culture of their home countries, the route of meeting with their husbands, and their understanding of Chinese culture. Nonetheless, most of the research participants showed that they accepted the Korean women's values in the form of conforming to the Korean patriarchal system while taking the inequality by attempting to assimilate positively in Korean society. And some of them resulted in the failure of the family because of the patriarchal values of the Korean husband. Based on the results of this study, we discussed the problems of gender equality in multicultural families in Korea and discussed ways to improve them.

시각적 의미의 개발에 바탕을 둔 색채 디자인 연구는 인간의 감성을 중시하는 새로운 패러다임을 맞이하여, 보다 확장적이고 다양한 연구로 발전되고 있다. 특히 화장품 브랜드의 개발과정에서 색채연구의 기능과 역할은 보다 새로운 차원으로 확대, 발전될 수 있는 가능성이 많다. 본 연구의 목적은 허브 식물이 가진 치료 효과와 심신을 편안하게 해주는 감성적 요인을 이용하여, 다차원적 감성을 활용한 색채 연구 방법론을 개발하고 이를 통한 자연성 화장품 브랜드의 이미지 전략을 수립하는데 있다. 허브 식물과 사용자 간의 감성적 교류에 대한 다차원적 특성은 '프리메라'라는 자연성 화장품 브랜드를 위한 감성적 이미지 개발 전략의 사례연구를 통하여 연구되었다. 본 사례 연구에서는 여성의 피부 특성에 따른 세 종류의 시각적/촉각적 색채 이미지 접근 방법을 분석하고, 이를 통한 활용 색체 팔레트를 개발함으로써 프리메라가 갖고 있는 브랜드의 이미지를 확고히 전달할 수 있는 감성 언어 체계를 개발하였다.

This paper describes the development of on-line computer vision laboratories to teach the detailed image processing and pattern recognition techniques. The computer vision laboratories include distant image acquisition method, basic image processing and pattern recognition methods lens and light, and communication. This study introduces a case study that teaches computer vision in distance learning. environment. It shows a schematic of a distant teaming workstation and contents of laboratories with image processing examples. The study focus more on the contents of the vision Labs rather than internet application method. The study proposes the ways to improve the on-line computer vision laboratories and includes the further research perspectives.

Cultural properties should be protected more than other facility because of its symbolization of a nation's historic and conservative value. So proper and effective actions for the management of our legacies is necessary. On this study, we'll research cases of cultural properties fires and manage to show the safety system of legacy and analyze problems of the system so that we can result in improvements for the safety of our treasures. This study is not to include almost all kind of cultural assets but only confined in a category of wooden materials, so there's limit of this study. And we should consider fires of tangible cultural properties, souvenirs and folk materials later period.

This study is a clinical single case study of the application of Theraplay approach for the treatment of children with eating disorder based on Polyvagal Theory. The first research question is how children with eating disorder change through Theraplay. The second research question is to analyze what the therapeutic factors are for changes in children with eating disorder. To do this, I used a qualitative case study method that explores a small number of cases closely and reveals the case deeply. As a result, the client has a sense of security in Theraplay session, expands the window of tolerance and develops a social engagement system. Through these, client become increasingly adaptable and overcome eating disorder. The results of this study can contribute to neuroscience validation of the counseling effect.

Customizing system is known as an important factor which affects not only purchase, loyalty and immersion of the user. In this study, we explore the concept of character-customizing system in the early stage of a game; on the basis of it, we compare cases by analyzing and schematizing certain types of systems which many games stick to. Customizing system types are divided into a basic case and a differentiated convergence case; based on it, they are classified into four types: Realistic, Creation, Individual, Additional; plus, another customizing system case out of games is also analyzed. To improve customer loyalty, a system like a differentiated case that attracts user participation is essential. Through a variety of character customization convergence cases shown in this study, we expect them to be used as game production guides. By enlarging the range of the study, we expect further studies to cover more cases.

The purpose of this study is to understand the open adoption experience of adoptive families. For this purpose, the data were collected through diverse data collection methods including in-depth interviews with adoptive families who had experiences of open adoption and analyzed using a qualitative case study approach. Data collected from six adoptive families were employed for within-case analysis and cross-case analysis. Each case was carefully examined and summarized using story-telling style in the within-case analysis and major issues for open adoption appeared in each case were described and compared one by one. In the cross-case analysis, all the cases were re-examined keeping the issues appeared in the within-case analysis in mind and eight integrated themes were emerged from it. The eight integrated themes are 'the crucial meeting', 'a clear arrangement', 'an uneasy parallel', 'the other mom', 'who are the real parents?', 'the words never to say', 'the hidden characters', and 'the center of relations or the outsider'. Based on the results of the study, the policies and practical guidelines related to open adoption were suggested. Also, the suggestions for the further studies were made to obtain more abundant information beyond the limitations of the study.
