Development and Verification of High Efficiency Experimental Apparatus to Evaluate Freezing Phenomenon of Soils (고효율 실내 동결실험장비의 개발 및 성능검증)

  • In order to design suitable geo-structures in cold region, it is generally required to consider the mechanical properties of permafrost soils. 'Frost heave' as one of the primary phenomenon is considered to be an important factor together with 'adfreeze bond-strength' and 'creep deformation' for structural design process in permafrost area. Therefore, the fundamental study for frost heave has to be preceded for design of geo-structures in cold region. While various experimental apparatuses have been developed, there still exist a certain level of limitation to evaluate the frost-heave characteristics as design parameters. In this paper, a new type of experimental apparatus is proposed to evaluate the engineering characteristics of frost heave in permafrost soils and a set of verification test results is presented. Based on the verification tests, the proposed apparatus is a suitable to obtain frost characteristics of soils.

A Study on Development and Utilization of Automatic Parking Survey System (자동주차조사 시스템 개발 및 활용에 관한 연구)

  • Conventional parking survey has been usually performed by a person, which has a lot of problems such as decreased mobility, data input error, longer time and expensiveness. Therefore, this study attempted to develop an automatic parking survey method using lately commercialized equipments that were highly efficient imagery interpretation equipments, GPS, and infrared lighting fixtures. In addition, this study developed a parking analysis software that enables to modify and save data, and analyze survey data by the automatic parking survey method. When parking survey is conducted using automatic parking survey method, surveying accuracy is influenced by the running speed of a surveying vehicle, the photographing angle of an imagery interpretation equipment, the gap between parking vehicles and the distance of a surveying vehicle to parking vehicles. Therefore, this study drew optimum conditions by testing on each items for accuracy improvement, and developed a parking analysis software for systematic storage and management of parking survey data, supporting the parking analysis and output the parking analysis result.

A Basic Study on the Development of Automatic Line Stripe Removal Using Dry Ice Blaster (드라이아이스 블래스터를 이용한 자동화 차선제거 장비 개발을 위한 기초연구)

  • Road is one of the infrastructure facilities, on which lines include various information for guiding a smooth traffic flow. This line marking work is continually removed and re-marked during maintenance. However, some problems exist when the line marking work is conducted. Traditional methods of using grinders and torches have risk of repetitive skill, and workers are exposed directly to the hazardous situations. Moreover, even though the equipment has developed, the line removing work induces environmental contamination and pollution line on the road. Therefore, this study can become one of the eco-friendly cleaning technologies using dry ice blaster equipment, and the new development of equipment will improve method of pavement marking removal. Also, it can introduce innovative automation in construction.

네트워크 연구개발 이슈 및 추진 방향

  • 네트워크는 사람, 사물, ICT 장비, 정보 등이 현실세계와 가상세계에서 서로 연결되는 소통의 통로이다. 네트워크 연구개발이 다루는 기술의 범위는 다양한 서비스를 빠르고 안전하고 저렴하게 언제 어디서나 끊김 없이 제공하는 인프라의 구조, 주소체계, 제어관리 등의 기반 기술과 네트워크를 구성하는 장비, 부품 및 소재 등 인프라 구현기술, 그리고 망관리, 보안, 서비스 전달 플랫폼 등 네트워크 기반 지식 서비스 전달 기술을 포함한다. 본고에서는 네트워크 분야에서 2014년도 정부가 바라보는 중점 이슈와 이에 대한 연구개발 추진 방향에 대해 알아본다.

  • 세계 선진항만은 해운물류시장의 변화에 대응하고, 경쟁력 확보 방안으로 첨단 자동화 장비와 운영시스템 도입을 통한 자동화를 지향하고 있다. 국내 부산항 신항 또한 자동화 컨테이너터미널로 개발을 추진하고 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 자동화 터미널은 각종 자동화 장비와 시스템이 유기적으로 구성되어 있으며, 이들의 효율적인 운영을 통해 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있다. 터미널의 안벽과 장치장 사이의 컨테이너 운송을 담당하는 이송장비는 컨테이너터미널의 핵심장비로 이의 효율적인 운영은 컨테이너터미널의 생산성과 직결되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 자동화 컨테이너터미널의 운영생산성 향상을 위한 하역장비와 이송장비의 운영방안에 대하여 연구한다. 특히 DHST(Dual Hoist Second Trolley)타입의 QC와 ASHC의 장비특성과 장비간의 연계작업을 고려하여, QC의 대기시간을 최소화하여 하역 생산성을 최대화할 수 있는 ASHC Dispatching Rule을 제시하고자 한다.

  • In developing an automated construction system, it is essential to propose a performance evaluation model and methodology, which can measure productivity, quality, safety and economic feasibility in order to verify its superiority. Recently, a tele-operated hume concrete pipe laying machine has been developed to solve several problems related to safety, quality, productivity in conventional method. The primary objective of this study is to propose a model and methodology for the performance evaluation of the developed tele-operated hume concrete pipe laying machine. Furthermore, this study evaluates the automation machine's performance compared with the existing hume pipe laying work by using data which obtained in many field trials. It is anticipated that the proposed model and methodology might be effectively used in analyzing the performance of other automation robots.

  • Tunnel modelling in the field of geotechnical engineering essentially requires models of tunnelling machines and the simulation of tunnelling processes to clarify the detailed behaviour of tunnel construction. Modern advanced mechatronics, including construction processes, machinining and control technologies, are making it possible to fabricate such models. These technologies, however, are essentially developed in a gravity field condition and are needed to examine in a 1g or cenrifuge field condition. This paper presents the simulation method for tunnelling processes and the design method for tunnelling machines with special reference to the problem of earth pressure acting on the lining of a shield tunnel. The paper then introduces and verifies the design method for tunnelling machines in the 1g field by means of checking the reproduceability of experiment data and their comparison with data in the field.

  • 본 논문에서는 검사장비에 제어용 라이브러리를 연구, 개발을 하였다. 개발된 라이브러리는 OPC 클라이어트, 스테이지 구동, 스위치 구동, 현미경 구동, 화상처리, 얼라이먼트, 태스크 관리로 나뉘며, 라이브러리 테스트 프로그램을 개발하여 모든 라이브러리의 기능 구현 테스트를 실시하고 있다. 제어 시스템 분야에서 세계 표준인OPC 개념을 도입하여, 검사 장비의 PLC 프로그램과 네트워크를 통해 데이터를 주고, 받을 수 있도록 OPC 서버를 사용하여 데이터를 관리하였다. 실제 검사장비에 탑재하기 전에 성능테스트를 위해PLC에 테스트 프로그램을 입력하여 실험을 하였다.

A Study on the Development and the Verification Experiment of ECDA Equipment (외면부식직접평가 장비 개발 및 실증 시험에 관한 연구)

  • When the coatings of buried steel pipelines are damaged, corrosion could be occurred on the surface of the damaged areas. Moreover the pinhole occurred by corrosion of pipelines may cause accidents due to gas leakage. To prevent these accidents, foreign countries including UK and USA have carried out coating defect detection on the buried gas pipelines by using a DCVG or a ACVG and have conducted direct assessment of pipelines through digging the ground, and if necessary, have repaired the pipelines. That is called ECDA i.e External Corrosion Direct Assessment which is regulated by NACE standards(SP 0502) and etc. In Korea, the ECDA provisions were included in KGS FS551 in 2014 when the regulations of Safety Validation in Detail for the medium-pressure piping were introduced. We have developed the equipment which can be used to detect external corrosion of the buried gas pipelines. We have also constructed pipeline test bed for empirical test of the developed equipment. In addition, we have carried out the verification experiments of the developed equipment on the test bed to demonstrate the performance of the equipment. The experiments were conducted by comparison tests of the developed equipment and other equipments which have been introduced and used in Korea. As the result, we have found the developed equipment is easier to use and has far superior performance compared to other equipment being used in Korea.

  • 군용장비를 시험하고 훈련하는데 사용되는 모의 소프트웨어는 체계마다, 장비마다 새로이 개발된다. 따라서 모의 소프트웨어를 설계, 개발하는 시간이 길어지고 관리 비용도 늘어난다. 이러한 비용을 줄이고자 본 논문에서는 모의 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 제안한다. 먼저 모의 소프트웨어가 공통으로 설계될 수 있는 부분을 추출하고, 이를 어플리케이션 프레임워크에서 미리 만들어진 형태로 제공한다. 여기서 추출한 공통 설계 구조는 다른 장비와의 연동을 위해 메시지를 주고 받는 인터페이스를 구현하는 부분이다. 이 인터페이스를 일관성 있게 개발하기 위하여 코드 생성 프로그램의 형태로 어플리케이션 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 설계된 어플리케이션 프레임워크는 일관된 개발 환경을 제공하여 모의 소프트웨어 개발 시, 설계 및 개발 시간을 줄이고 관리비용을 줄일 것으로 기대된다.
