Systematic literature review on AI-based mathematics teaching and learning: Focusing on the role of AI and teachers (AI 기반 수학 교수·학습에 대한 체계적 문헌 고찰: AI의 역할과 교사의 역할을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore research trends on AI-based mathematics teaching and learning. For this purpose, a systematic literature review was conducted on 57 literatures in terms of research subject, research method, research purpose, learning content, type of AI, role of AI, and role of teachers. The results indicate that student accounted for the largest proportion at 51% among the research subjects, and quantitative research was the highest at 49% among the research methods. The purpose of study was distributed as follows: effect analysis 44%, theoretical discussion 35%, case study 21%. 'Numbers and Operations' and 'Variables and Expressions' covered learning contents most, and Intelligent Tutoring System (ITS) was used the most among the types of AI. 'Student teaching' was the largest parts of role of AI at 40.4%, followed by 'teacher support' at 22.8%, 'student support' at 21%, and 'system support' at 15.8%. The role of teachers as 'AI recipients' was highlighted in earlier studies, and the role of teachers as 'constructive partner with AI' was highlighted in more recent studies. Also, role of teachers was explored in pedagogical, AI-technological, content aspects. Through this, follow-up research was suggested and the roles that teachers should have in AI-based mathematics teaching and learning were discussed.

  • 대학에서는 매학기 개설된 수업에 대해 강의실 배정작업을 진행하고 있으며 대부분의 대학에서는 년4회(1 2학기, 여름, 겨울 계절학기) 수작업으로 반복적인 강의실 배정 작업을 수행하고 있다. 강의실 배정작업은 교수가 선호하는 강의실 또는 교과목특성(실험과목 및 대형 강의)이 반영된 강의실 등 다양한 조건에 의해 강의실을 배정하고 있으며 수작업으로 일일이 강의실을 배정 하는 데에는 상당한 시간이 소요되고 있다. 몇몇 대학에서는 강의실 배정작업을 개선하기 위해 교수 및 강의실의 특성을 고려한 강의실 자동 배정 시스템을 구축을 시도 하였으나, 많은 변수로 인해 여전히 수작업으로 강의실을 배정하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 강의실 자동 배정 시스템을 구축하기 위한 방법으로 최근 3년간 기 배정된 강의실 빅 데이터 자료를 기반으로 작성된 강의실 자동 배정 알고리즘을 제시하고 실적용한 고려대학교 시스템 구축 사례를 살펴보고자 한다.

  • In the society of lifelong learning, a school library has to play an important educational role in improving self-directed learning ability that school education is seeking. First of all, This study makes it clear that the goal of school library use education is to develop self-directed learning ability. It carries out a research into the present condition of school library use education which is an important educational role of a school library.   • The purpose of this study is to develop a Python search algorithm educational program based on execution time to improve the logical thinking of elementary school students. This educational program was developed based on the process of ADDIE model, utilizing the results of pre-demand analysis conducted for 133students in elementary school in ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$. In order to verify the effectiveness of the developed education program, 25 students who participated in the education donation program at ${\bigcirc}{\bigcirc}$ University conducted 42 hours of classes during 6 days. The GALT test was used to analyze the educational effects of the pre- and post-test. The results of the analysis show that the SW education program developed in this study can positively affect the logic of elementary school students.

  • NCS education was created to realize a society in which skills and abilities are respected, such as transcending specifications, establishing recruitment systems, and developing and disseminating national incompetence standards. At the university level, special lectures and job training are being strengthened to raise industrial experts. Especially, in the field of animation, new technologies are rapidly emerging and demanding convergent talents with various fields. In order to meet these social demands, there is a limit to the existing one-class teaching method. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to participate in a variety of specialized teachers. In other words, rather than solving problems of students' job training and job creation, It is aimed to solve jointly, Team teaching was suggested as a method for this. The expected effects that can be obtained through this are as follows. First, the field of animation is becoming more diverse and complex. The ability to use NCS job-related skills pools can be matched with professors from other departments to enable a wider range of professional instruction. Second, it is possible to use partial professorships in other departments by actively utilizing professors in the university. This leads to the strengthening of the capacity of teachers in universities. Third, it is possible to build a broader and more integrated educational system through cooperative teaching of professors in other departments. Finally, the advantages of special lectures and mentor support of college professors' pools are broader than those of field specialists. A variety of guidance for students can be made with responsible professors. In other words, time and space constraints can be avoided because the mentor is easily met and guided by the university.

An Analysis of Students' Communication in Lessons for the Geometric Similarity Using AlgeoMath (알지오매스를 활용한 도형의 닮음 수업에서 학생들의 의사소통 분석)

  • This study conducted a student-centered inquiry lesson on the similarity of figures using AlgeoMath, with student learning aspects analyzed from a communication perspective. This approach aimed to inform pedagogical implications related to teaching geometric similarity. Through utilizing AlgeoMath, students were able to visually confirm that their chosen figures were similar, experiencing key mathematical concepts such as the ratio of similarity to the area of similar figures, and congruency and similarity conditions of triangles. In the lessons applying this concept, we categorized the features of similarity learning displayed by students, as seen in the communication aspects of their exploratory activities, into 'Understanding similarity ratios', 'Grasping conditions of similarity in triangles', and 'Comparing concepts of congruency and similarity'. Through exploratory activities based on AlgeoMath, students discussed the meaning and mathematical relationships of key concepts related to similarity, such as the ratio of similarity to the area of figures, and the meaning and conditions of congruence and similarity in triangles. By improving misconceptions about the similarity of figures, they were able to develop deeper mathematical understanding. This study revealed that in teaching and learning the geometric similarity using AlgeoMath, obtaining meaningful pedagogical outcome was not solely due to the features of the AlgeoMath environment, but also largely depended on the teacher's guidance and intervention that stimulated students' thinking.

The Effect of Team Based Simulation Learning Using SBAR on Critical Thinking and Communication Clarity of Nursing Students (SBAR 이용 팀 기반 시뮬레이션 학습이 간호학생의 비판적사고, 의사소통명확성에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of team - based simulation training in nursing students on critical thinking and communication clarity. This study was conducted from October 2017 to November 2017 for 69 students (33 experimental group and 36 control group) who took a course of "Basic Nursing Theory and Practice" students in a major nursing student in P city, Gyeongbuk province. Collection and analysis. In this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey using a tool of critical accidents measurement by Yoon Jin(2004) and a communication clarity tool by Hye - jin Jo(2013). Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 23.0, Chi-square, Fisher's exact test, t-test and ANCOVA. Data analysis showed that the groups participating in the SBAR team based simulation training were significantly more effective than the control group in critical thinking (F = 11.91, p <.001) and communication clarity (F = 4.40, p = .040). Based on these results, it is shown that using SBAR team - based simulation learning for nursing students is effective in teaching 'fundamental nursing and practice' and can be recommended as teaching method for nursing students.

Intervention Effect on Health Efficacy and Knowledge in Cardiovascular Health Promotion Behaviors in Children (초등학생 대상의 건강 효능감과 지식을 중심으로 한 심혈관 건강증진 중재 효과)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to identify the intervention effects on health efficacy and health knowledge related to health behaviors for improving cardiovascular health in elementary school children. Methods: A repeated measure, pre-post-test design was used to identify the intervention effect on health efficacy and health knowledge among 5th grade school children. Intervention consisted of a curriculum classroom intervention and parent intervention. Health efficacy, health knowledge, and perceived parental monitoring were measured for testing intervention effect. A sample of 219 participants completed a baseline pre-test and two tests during intervention and after intervention from March to July 2004. Results: Mental health efficacy improved significantly from baseline test to the test after intervention (F = 32.88, p < 0.0001). Physical health efficacy also significantly increased during intervention (F = 50.51, p < 0.0001), but did not significantly change after parent intervention. Health knowledge increased significantly from baseline test to the test after education (F =10.23, p < 0.0001), but decreased after parent intervention. Perceived parental monitoring had a significant impact on mental health efficacy and physical health efficacy. Conclusion: The findings support school-based cardiovascular health promotion intervention as effective in improving health efficacy and health knowledge. Parental influence should also be considered to maintain improved health efficacy and health knowledge by thinking process in the intervention for elementary school children.

A Survey Study of IT Vocational Education Contents Development in Ubiquitous Learing for Persons with Hearing Impairments (u-Learning 기반 IT 직업교육과정 개발을 위한 청각장애인의 욕구조사)

  • The purpose of this study is to research the actual condition of on-line and off-line computer education in order to create more opportunities for the possibility of effective learning and u-Learning - based IT vocational education development of persons with hearing impairments. To carry out this study, we had a preliminary education of this study for a sign language interpreters who had working in a association of the deaf in Daegu, and had conducted a survey study participating for 100 persons with hearing impairments living in Daegu-Kyungbook Region. The results of this study were as follows: First, during on-line and offline education environment for persons with hearing impairments, factors such as teaching methods and contents, screen organization, learning effects, offering lecture material and subtitle, subtitle and sign language video of position and size, offering computer instructor who have a sign language interpreter with IT mentoring, on-line educational user environment setting must be considered factors for u-Learning - based IT vocational education development. Second, 74% of the subjects showed their interest in taking a course, after u-Learning contents are developed for persons with hearing impairments. Third, the subjects preferred IT device was a tablet PCs and IT certification related courses as their IT vocational education curriculum. Also, to link between professional training and job opportunity, subjects will need a IT vocational education courses such as computer intermediate and advanced levels.

Exploring the Direction of Museum-Based Peace and Unification Education through the Case of Moon Ik Hwan's House of Unification (문익환 통일의 집 사례를 통해 본 박물관 기반 평화·통일교육의 방향 탐구)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the implementation process of peace and unification education operated by the Moon Ik Hwan's House of Unification and what future tasks will be. The House of Unification, established after Moon Ik Hwan's death, contains important materials from modern and contemporary Korean history. This place conducts peace and unification education according to Moon Ik Hwan's theory of unification, and approached it as an action research to clarify the direction and tasks of peace and unification education. The researcher confirmed the direction of improvement of the program through two classes, and explored the research results by executing a second program reflecting this. The results of the study are as follows. We should look at Moon Ik Hwan, who reflects his appearance as a Christian figure and his thoughts as a unification activist. In addition, rather than approaching the issue of unification through macroscopic discourse, we should look at it as a problem of daily life. It should be a peace and unification education that allows you to meet comfortably through various teaching and learning methods.
