Quantitative Evaluation of the Collision-Avoidance Capability of Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships Using FMSS (FMSS를 이용한 자율운항선박 충돌회피능력 정량화 평가 기법에 관한 연구)

  • Research related to the technology developed for the Maritime Autonomous Surface Ship (MASS) is currently underway. Although one of those core technologies is collision-avoidance technology for ship operators at sea, no research has been done to objectively quantify its effectiveness. Therefore, this study was conducted to develop an evaluation model to examine the collision-avoidance ability of MASS. Ship-control experts performed a ship-handling simulation for each ship encounter type using the Full Mission Ship-handling Simulator (FMSS). We used the resulting data and technical statistics, to develop an evaluation model that utilized FMSS to quantify the operational capability of the collision-avoidance technology. This evaluation model also can be used at sea to assess deck officers' ability to use the technology and to improve and develop other MASS technologies.

  • A problem of handling capacity calculation of berth is very important factor for decision about a port development scale like as the number of berth, size of back storage yard. If handling capacity per berth calculated low, the number of berth is increasing and the size of yard decided for propriety level of handling capacity. The propose of this paper is re-calculate of handling capacity for Busan container port by firstly government plan and actual result of Busan port like as waiting rate, berth share and handling capacity, and then realistic number of crane and berth share to be applied.

  • The researchers developed the teaching-learning materials for 9th grade mathematically gifted students in terms of the hypothesis that the students would have opportunity for problem solving and develop various mathematical thinking through the mathematical modeling lessons. The researchers analyzed what mathematical thinking abilities were shown on each stage of modeling process through the application of the materials. Organization of information ability appears in the real-world exploratory stage. Intuition insight ability, spatialization/visualization ability, mathematical reasoning ability and reflective thinking ability appears in the pre-mathematical model development stage. Mathematical abstraction ability, spatialization/visualization ability, mathematical reasoning ability and reflective thinking ability appears in the mathematical model development stage. Generalization and application ability and reflective thinking ability appears in the model application stage. The developed modeling assignments have provided the opportunities for mathematically-gifted students' mathematical thinking ability to develop and expand.

  • This study is aimed to evaluate the satisfaction level and effective value in acquiring the coffee-related private certificates for purpose of development and growth of the coffee industry in Korea. Analysis had being made to investigate on which parts of the vocational competencies designated by National Competency Standard are developed by the coffee-related private certificates implemented in Korea and the effect of such certificates on the job satisfaction and intent to utilize are further elaborated. While technical ability, self-development ability, problem-solving ability had a positive (+) effect on overall job satisfaction. Further, job satisfaction of vocational competencies had a positive (+) effect on the utilization intention. Through this study, it is found that the coffee barista private certificates have a considerable effect on the development of vocational competencies, improve the job satisfaction and are utilized as a material evaluating ability scales for recruitment and employment.

  • 본 연구는 u-Campus 환경에서 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상시키기 위한 평가시스템을 설계하고 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 수업효율성과 교수평가에 관한 이론을 고찰하고, 선행 프로그램들을 분석하여 시스템에 포함되어야 할 효율적인 수업행동 평가요소를 추출하였다. 추출된 평가요소를 바탕으로 u-Campus 환경에서 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상을 위한 요소 즉, 교수-학습활동, 교수-학습활동 평가, 포트폴리오 활용 및 공유, 유비쿼터스 기술, 데이터베이스 영역을 반영하여 시스템을 설계하고 프로토타입(proto type)을 개발하였다. 그리고 이러한 프로토타입(proto type)의 개발은 기존의 평가 방법과 달리 교수 자신의 평가에서 시작하여 본인의 의지에 따라 영역을 넓히면서 평가에 대한 부담을 덜며 교수능력(teaching skill)을 향상시킬 수 있고, u-Campus 환경에서 평가가 어떠한 과정과 방법으로 이루어져야 하는지에 대한 안내를 제공할 것이다. 본 연구가 제시한 u-Campus 환경의 교수능력(teaching skill) 향상을 위한 평가시스템은 교수자의 발전은 물론 대학교육의 질적인 발전에 도움이 될 것이다.

Analysis of Science Process Skills and Suggestions for Developing Scientific-Inquiry of Secondary Science Gifted Students (과학영재 탐구활동에 제시된 과학탐구능력 분석 및 개발을 위한 제안)

  • The purpose of the study is to investigate science process skills and suggest several considerations about developing scientific inquiries for secondary science gifted students. To do this, we analyzed scientific inquiries of science gifted programs and evaluated them on the quantity of problem perception, problem finding and inquiry planning that are regarded as high level science process skills, then revised each inquiry to include those high level skills. The result was that the first, there were differences in frequencies and types of science process skills among those inquiries. The second, there were very few problem perception and problem finding and were not many inquiry planning. The third, some of the revised inquiries showed those high level skills. From this, we would like to suggest we should construct scientific inquiries of science gifted program out of many and various themes. And there should be more high level science process skills such as problem perception, problem finding, and inquiry planning. For this, scientific inquiry developers should have intentions to involve such science process skills which is appropriate for science gifted student.

  • With the introduction of new teacher evaluation system, teacher librarians' evaluation indicators and questions were presented for the first time. The purpose of this study is to review the validity of current indicators and questions and to develop new one, based on it. The result is as follows : Current indicators mainly focus on the management of school library facility and collection, not on teacher librarians' educational activities and have the low validity to evaluate the expertise of teacher librarians. As a result, this study will suggest new evaluation indicators and questions to evaluate their expertise appropriately.

  • 최근의 물류센터의 설계 및 운영에서 재고품목의 피킹-재보충(Picking and Replenishing)방법이 물류센터의 능력에 크게 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구는 물류센터의 최적운영을 고려한 저장설비의 능력산정을 위하여 피킹지역(Forward Area)과 저장지역(Reserve Area)을 동시에 고려한 저장설비의 능력산정모델 연구이다. 이를 위하여 물류센터 내의소 단위화물의 피킹지역과 대단위 보충 화물을 저장하는 재보충지역으로 구분하고 동일 운송설비로 피킹 및 재보충 방법에 따른 설비능력을 산정하기 위해 수리모델을 개발하고 AutoMod Simulator를 이용한 다양한 분석연구를 하였다. 그리고 이를 위한 전산프로그램을 개발하고 A냉장물류회사에 적용하여 저장시설의 능력산정결과를 보였다. 본 연구는 단위화물의 보관 및 판매를 위한 물류설비 계획에 활용될 수 있도록 보완 연구될 것이다.

  • 연구개발의 성과는 투입 자원의 크기로만 결정되는 것이 아니라, 이를 어떻게 효율적으로 관리하느냐에 보다 크게 의존된다. 따라서 한 국가의 기술혁신능력은 연구 개발의 관리 능력에 의해 좌우되며 이의 요체는 연구기획·평가기능이라 할 수 있다. 최근 첨단 기술의 주도권을 둘러싸고 선진국들 간의 개발 경쟁이 치열해짐에 따라 각국은 국가적 차원에서 대규모의 전략적 연구개발의 대형화·복합화 추세가 가속화되고 있고, 이에 대응하여 연구 기획·평가에 있어서 새로운 체계적인 방법론 및 기법이 요구되고 있다. 본 토에서는 '80년대 이후 선진국을 중심으로 변화·발전하고 있는 연구평가의 새로운 접근 방법을 파악하고, 미국,일본,EC,영국의 연구 평가 추진 현황 및 사례를 분석함으로써 우리 나라의 연구평가 시스템의 구축에 관한 시사점을 찾고자 한다.   • The objective of this study is to perform the systematic research and to develop programs for improving the teaching abilities of vocational teachers, so that they can cope with the variant educational condition in accordance with the change of paradigm. Especially vocational teachers who engage in technical education can acquire new knowledge and techniques as well as grasp the trend of the new technologies required in industrial fields. In this study preliminary research for the capabilities of vocational teachers was held and the feasibility was investigated. Upon these investigations the essential elements for the improvement of vocational teachers' capabilities were derived. These will be used as preliminary data for operating curricula.
