A Study on the Vision Algorithm for the Inspection of very small RF-Chip Inductor (초소형 RF-chip inductor의 외관 검사 알고리즘에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we propose a vision algorithm for the inspection of very small RF-chip inductor which is used in mobile-communication terminal. The proposed method divides coil part from the inductor body by local adaptive thresholding and integral projection method. After dividing work, the coil components are extracted by thinning and labelling techniques. The test items are the number of turns, the intervals in coil, and the measure of uniformity between the extracted lines. If the values of these are more than the specific value a tested product is decided bad one. In the simulation, the proposed method has a good performance.

  • 본 연구는 하퇴의지 착용자와 정상 성인간의 시간-거리, 운동형상학 변수를 조사하고 비교하기 위하여 실시하였다. 연구 대상자는 외상으로 인한 하퇴 절단자로서 내골격식 하퇴의지를 착용하고 독립적으로 보행이 가능한 20명과 연령, 신장으로 짝짓기한 대조군(matched control group) 20명이 참여하였다. 보행분석은 Vicon Clinical Manager Software (VCM)를 내장한 PC에 5개의 카메라가 연결되어 있는 Vicon 512 Motion Analysis System (MAS, Oxford Metrics Inc.)을 이용하였다. 하퇴의지 착용군의 단하지 지지시간이 정상 성인군에 비해 유의하게 짧았으며(p<.05), 하퇴의지 착용군에서 슬관절의 선전이 증가되었으며 족관절의 저측굴곡이 감소되었다(p<.05). 하퇴절단자들의 보행개선을 위해서는 하퇴절단자 개인의 보행능력에 알맞은 부품의 선택, 체계적인 보행훈련 및 평가, 보행능력 향상을 위한 근력강화 프로그램 등 체계적인 재활훈련 프로그램이 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구는 연구대상자의 수가 제한되어 있으므로 연구의 결과를 일반화하기에는 제한점이 있으나, 향후 편측 하퇴절단자의 보행연구에 대한 기초 자료로 사용될 수 있을 것이라고 생각된다.

  • The development of information & technology and the Internet provides various connecting routes between manufacturers with consumers. These expanded routes has made it possible for customers to directly transfer their voice to manufacturers, but a research on how the manufacturers respond the customers needs has to be further conducted. In this paper, a method in which a best supplier would be chosen based on customers needs from the perspective of a buyer has been presented. A method that makes it possible to evaluate and choose the best supplier in accordance with consumers requirement by analyzing customers needs and the evaluated data also has been designed.

  • A rubber bushing connects the components of the vehicle each other and reduce the vibration transmitted to the chassis frame. A rubber bushing has the nonlinear characteristics for both the amplitude and the frequency and represents the hysteretic responses under the periodic excitation. In this paper, one-axis durability test is performed to describe the mechanical behavior of typical vehicle elastomeric components. The results of the tests are used to develop m empirical bushing model with an artificial neural network. The back propagation algerian is used to obtain the weighting factor of the neural network. A numerical example is carried out to verify the developed bushing model and the vehicle simulation is performed to show the fidelity of proposed model.

소형 경량의 위성용 초고주파신호분배기 개발

  • 위성용 초고주파신호분배기(이하, RFDU)는 위성에 장착된 두 개의 안테나와 두 개의 송수신기 사이에 위치하게 되며, 지상으로부터 송신된 제어신호와 위성의 상태 정보 신호를 전달/분배하는 RF 신호 경로를 제공하게 된다. 기존의 위성용 RFDU의 구조는 cavity 형태의 필터로 구성된 diplexer와 hybrid RF coupler 및 저역통과필터 들이 서로 SMA 케이블로 연결되어 있는 부피가 큰 구조이다. 또한 차세대 위용용 부품들은 위성을 경제성 등을 고려하여 소형/경량화 개발이 요구되고 있으며, 특히 위성용 S 대역 TC/TM 통신링크에서 RFDU와 트랜스폰더는 소형 경량화를 위해 단일 unit으로 개발되고 있다. 이에 따라 기존의 RFDU 또한 전기적 성능을 유지하면서 소형/경량화 개량 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 기존 RFDU의 소형 경량화를 위해 PCB와 housing을 이용하여 cavity 필터특성을 갖는 diplxer를 개발/구현 하였으며, PCB 페턴을 통한 내부 인터페이스용 SMA 케이블 제거 등을 적용하였다. 또한 microstrip 타입의 저역통과필터을 적용하여 소형 경량화를 이루었으며, 새로이 개발된 소형/경량의 RFDU는 전기적으로 기존의 그것과 유사하거나 동등한 특성을 갖는 것을 확인하였으며, 기존 RFDU 대비 무게 및 부피는 60 % 이상 감소하여 소형/경량화 개발을 성공하였다. 본 개발 결과물은 향후 차세대 위성용 RFDU 개발을 위한 기초 자료로 활용할 것이다.

  • In the process of software development, object-oriented framework enables directly improving the productivity of the developer through the reuse of code, analysis and design informations. object-oriented framework is a set of usable and expandable classes and their connectivity. It is a meta solution that contains the code to be reused in the framework and the expert design results on a specific area. This paper constructs the framework that extracts the common services of BBS, chatting, white board and ftp applications for internet-based remote education system. These services can be mostly reused within heterogeneous applications in the form of component.

Fatigue Analysis based on Kriging for Flaperon Joint of Tilt Rotor Type Aircraft (틸트 로터형 항공기의 플랩퍼론 연결부에 대한 크리깅 기반 피로해석)

  • The fatigue analysis is performed to avoid structural failure in aerospace structures under repeated loads. In this paper, the fatigue life is estimated for the design of tilt rotor UAV. First of all, the fatigue load spectrum for tilt rotor UAV is generated. Fatigue analysis is done for the flaperon joint which may have FCL(fracture critical location). Tilt rotor UAV operates at two modes: helicopter mode such as taking off and landing; fixed wing mode like cruising. To make overall fatigue load spectrum, FELIX is used for helicopter mode and TWIST is used for fixed wing mode. The other hand, the Kriging meta model is used to get S-N regression curve for whole range of material life when S-N test data are analyzed. And then, the second order of S-N curve is accomplished by the least square method. In addition, the coefficient of determination method is used to ensure how accuracy it has. Finally, the fatigue life of flaperon joint is compared with that obtained by MSC. Fatigue.

Influence of tungsten carbide/carbon coating of implant-abutment screw on screw loosening (임플랜트 지대주 나사의 텅스텐 카바이드/탄소 코팅이나사풀림에 미치는 영향)

  • Statement of problem: Dental implant procedure has been recognized as a very effective treatment to rehabilitate fully or partially edentulous patients. However, mechanical failures such as screw loosening, screw fracture have been still reported frequently. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of tungsten carbide/carbon coating, which has superior hardness and frictional wear resistance, on implant-abutment screw loosening of three different joint connections after one million cyclic loading. Material and methods: The values of detorque before and after loading were measured in three different joint connections (Osstem Implant, Korea), one external butt joint, US II implant system and two internal cones, SS II and GS II system. The values of detorque before loading was analyzed by one-way ANOVA, and two-way ANOVA and Scheffe' test were performed for the value of detorque after loading. Results: 1. The values of initial detorque of tungsten carbide/carbon coated Ti alloy screw were smaller those of Ti alloy screw (P<.01), and there were no differences among implant systems in each screw (P>.05). 2. In comparison of loss rate of detorque value after cyclic loading, US II system was greater than SS II and GS II system but there was no difference between SS II and GS II system (P<.01). 3. Loss rates of detorque value after cyclic loading decreased consistently at tungsten carbide/carbon coated Ti alloy screw comparing with Ti alloy screw in all implant systems (P<.01), and there were no differences among three systems in reduction of loss rates by using tungsten carbide/carbon coated Ti alloy screw (P>.05). Conclusion: Tungsten carbide/carbon coating to increase preload with reduction of friction resistance was a effective way to decrease screw loosening by functional loading.

  • Present-day world economy is characterized by : technology nationalism, economic regionalism, market protectionism, multinational corporations, efc. All nations are striving for intensifying national economic rivalry and seeking after their own interests above everything else. Many regions of the world are also forming trading blocs, which could negatively affect nonmember states. The ultimate way to meet these difficulties is to establish production facilities in the countries imposing trade regulations. However, as the existing models of direct forrign investment (DFI) do not account for the particular nature of Korean firm's DFI activities, a new point of departure is imperative. It is because of this that Korean firms have only limited firm-specific advantages, the basic precondition of extant DFI theories, compared with their developed counterparts.

  • An automotive ball joint connects the suspension system to the steering system and helps to enable rotational and linear motion between the two elements for steering. This study examines a ball joint used in medium and large-sized pickup trucks. Ball joints consist of a stud, socket, bearing, and plug. The main structural performance metrics of ball joints are the pull-out strength and push-out strength. These structural parameters must meet certain criteria to avoid serious accidents. Test and simulation methods are used to investigate the design requirements, but tests are time-consuming and costly. In this study, we modeled ball joints in SolidWorks and performed a finite element analysis in Abaqus to predict structural performance. The analysis was used to obtain the structural performance required for the static analysis of a 2D axisymmetric model. The uncertainties in the manufacturing of the ball joint were assumed to be the manufacturing tolerances, and the dimensional design variables were identified through case studies. The manufacturing tolerances at each level were defined, and the results were compared with experimental results.
