  • PC와 스마트 디바이스가 보급화 되면서 현대인들은 온라인 활동이 많아지고 있다. 온라인상의 커뮤니티는 '육아여성'들이 사회적 고립을 벗어날 수 있는 새로운 기회이다. 삶의 질 증진을 위한 온라인 커뮤니티를 제공하고, 인터넷 속 카페로만 구성되어 있는 육아여성만의 공간을 앱 기반으로 확장시켜 위치기반서비스를 통해 실시간 소통과 가까운 주변 육아여성의 커뮤니티를 형성해 사용자들에게 편리함을 제공을 목표로 한다. 더하여 육아여성의 지역 경제 참여를 유도하여 소상공인에 도움을 주고 지역경제를 활성화한다.

  • French poststructuralists Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari pointed out that the minority age already has come in the modern society through discussing minority topic. Futhermore, they supported 'Becoming' as new methodology that minorities escape from suppressed reality. 'Becoming' is the practical concept for how one identity could split into different lives and subjects, thus it could be explained as an exemplary that autonomous change and actively entering into different lives. The purpose of this study seeks the practical way for elder women can independently participate in media education which is based on concretely 'becoming woman'. For this, the article examines the main concept and thought of Deleuze and Guattari. The reason why this article premises this theory is for changing 'desire' of elder women's approach to 'becoming women' through new interpretation about minority and minorities which were defined by quantitative criteria. Consequently, this article would suggests the direction of senior media education for seniors for the positive and specific effect.

Media Discourse on Asian Women's International Marriage: The Korean Case (아시아 여성의 국제결혼에 대한 미디어 담론: 한국 미디어의 재현방식을 통해)

  • This paper focuses on how international marriages among Asians have been represented by the Korean media. Due to globalization, the so-called 'ethnoscape' has changed, and so ethnicity or racial identity within the boundaries of the nation-state changed. The recent diaspora of Asian women into Korea through international marriages has reflected how globalization has proceeded at a regional or local level. This paper attempts to analyze Koreanmedia discourses on the Asian female diaspora. This study analyzes what kind of generic forms TV dramas, other shows(TV reality programs, TV journalistic programs), movie and internet have employed to represent international marriages and how they have portrayed the subjectivities of the Asian female diaspora. This study discuss how this representation has been contested by the 'realities' of their international marriages. By examining how the Korean mainstream media have dealt with the conflicting issues of the Asian female diaspora, this paper intends to look critically at how local discursive practices have substantiated the changing ethnoscape. As a result of the study, this paper can find international marriages among Asians have been represented by Korean media still patriarchal system in male-oriented society. The otherness of Asian women justify the strong work of household affairs, and so justified life is standardized 'a kind of daughter- in-law', 'a complaisant daughter-in-law' in the process of migration. Also the otherness of Asian women standardized 'a victor' or 'a harmer' through international marriage of money that commercialized 'sexuality'. After all Korea media discourse on Asian women's international marriage, the gender issues on it have not been focused on a serious level.

  • This study analyzed the cause of Corona Blue and tried to find out ways to improve the mental health of our society. The external activities decreased and the household economy got worse after COVID-19, so Corona Blue increased. The media use and the negative media information problems increased Corona Blue. The online activities had no effects. In order to relieve Corona Blue, it was suggested to increase the external activities personally, to make the social and economic conditions of women and the economic weaker better, to improve the quality of media disaster information, and for the media consumer to use the media properly.

  • First quarter of 2019, 'Honour Of Kings' continued to be rank No.1 in mobile game sales. Although 'Honour Of Kings' is a game preferred by male players, it has more than 100 million female players. It can have such a large number of female players, in addition to its simplified game operation, social function, there are also included changeable characters for women's preferences. So that the 'Honour Of Kings' allows many female players to take part in. In this paper, the author chooses a skin with high preference for female players among many game consumer goods as the research object. Analysing the design elements of female player' preferences. Female players are more emotional, their favorite game characters just reflect women's longing for beautiful things. It is pointed out that the female orientation of female consumers should be taken into account in the mobile game market, which indicates the direction of visual factors for future mobile game design.

The Empirical Analysis of Differences in Recognition of the Genders in the Media Facade (LED 미디어파사드에 있어 남녀에 따른 인지정도의 실증분석)

  • Recently, the Department has utilized the media facade as a means to attract new customers and promotional tools. In particular, we checked the rate of customer's gender who visited a large department store. The ratio of women's visit is 4.6 times more than men. This can confirm the need to produce a differentiated content of LED media facade by gender. This study are subject to an empirical analysis of differences of perception of evaluation factors of media facade in gender. At first we specified four factors which can evaluate the media facade according to gender by previous studies. There are aesthetics, artistry, comfort and harmony. And the hypothesis was set as "Each factor might be differences between the recognition of their gender" In order to verify a hypothesis the country's large department store was selected and experiment was performed. In the result of the experiment, among the four factors, aesthetics, creativity, and harmony were chosen, while comfort was dismissed. This results confirm that the following factors are needed to attract more women's customer at the department such as combination of space and media facade, combination of shape and color, appropriateness of the information and beautiful place, and directing way of content.

Global-local Nexus in the Process of Media Globalization The Case Study of Global Women's Magazines in Korea (글로벌 여성잡지의 글로컬라이제이션 생산과정에 나타나는 글로벌과 지역의 상호작용)

  • Global women's magazines have been approached as a significant site for exploring the dynamic interaction between global and local forces. Unlike other global media products which are imported from overseas, global women's magazines are published through the cooperation with local companies. These ownership patterns allow local editions of global women's magazines to negotiate the tension and contradiction between the global media and local publishers. Thus, the main purpose of this research is to investigate the dialectic interaction between the global and local forces in the production of international women's magazines in Korea. To explore the dynamic interaction between the global and local forces, both globalization and localization efforts of international women's magazines which occur during the production process were examined through in-depth interviews with personnel in the magazine industry. The result of this research showed that international women's magazines are not a mere part of global media but a 'glocalized' media product, which carry local content via global formats. The form of international women's magazines seems to be more globalized or standardized, while the content (text) is relatively localized by reflecting local readers' interests and the cultural values of Korean society.
