게임서사 안에서 플레이어들은 진정한 영웅을 꿈꾼다. 수십 만명의 동시접속자들이 종횡무진 행동하는 게임 월드에서 조연을 꿈꾸면서, 수십, 수천시간씩 플레이하는 단 한 사람도 없다. 선형적인 소설이나 영화에서 여러명의 주인공을 두고 각각의 주인공이 주도하는 서사를 멀티플롯(Multi-plot)으로 풀어 낼 수는 있을지 몰라도 각각의 에피소드들은 차례대로 주어질 수밖에 없으며, 주인공과 플롯의 수도 미디어의 특성상 제한적일 수 밖에 없다. 게임의 서사를 기존의 소설이나 영화를 통해 구현할 수 있는 멀티플롯과 구분해 '다변수적'이라고 표현하는 이유가 바로 여기에 있다.

월간양계가 양계업 태동기인 지난 1969년 11월 창간된 이래 통권 481호를 발행하면서 40년간 양계인들의 눈과 귀가 되어 많은 정보들을 양계인들에게 제공하였다. 따라서 본고는 월간양계 창간 40년을 맞이하여 월간양계를 통해 실렸던 수 많은 내용들 중 기억될만한 에피소드나 실화를 묶어 '월간양계 40년사, 이런일 저런일 40선'을 엄선하여 선별, 게재하였다. 본 기사에 실린 내용 이외에도 IMF 위기, 계열업체 부도사태, 천재지변, 품질문제, 자조금 출범 등 양계산업에 기억될만한 사건들이 많이 있으나 지면관계상 부득이 40개만을 선정하게 되었다.

국내에도 상당한 팬 층을 확보하고 있고 전세계적으로 1억권 이상의 단행본이 팔린 인기 연재만화<원피스>를 연작으로 한 애니메이션 <원피스>시리즈가 드디어 극장판으로 우리 곁을 찾아왔다. 이번에 국내에서 첫 개봉된 <원피스-기계태엽성의 메카거병>은 기존의 TV시리즈보다 더욱 화려해진 스케일과 새로운 캐릭터들의 등장으로 색다른 감동과 풍성한 볼거리를 제공한다. 일반적으로 만화를 원작으로 한 극장판 애니메이션들이 만화에서 모티브를 그대로 가져오는 반면 <원피스-기계태엽성의 메카거병>은 만화책과 TV시리즈에서 한번도 선보이지 않았던 이야기와 새로운 등장인물로 기존 팬들에게는 새로운 에피소드로의 초대를, 처음 접하는 관객에게는 기존 시리즈를 알지 못해도 이해 가능한 새로운 애니메이션과의 만남을 제공한다. 세상에서 가장 값진 보물 원피스를 찾아 떠난 루피 해적단의 신나는 모험의 세계에 빠져보자.

IETF(International Engineering Task Force)(1)는 1986년 1월, 21명의 소수 전문가들이 미국 샌디에고에서 첫 번째 회의를 개최한 이후로, 2006년 11월 제 67차 회의에 이르기까지 20년 동안 인터넷 기술표준을 다루는 사실상의 인터넷 관련 최고 권위의 표준화기구로 활동하고 있다. 본 고에서는 IETF의 표준 문서인 RFC(Request For Comments)를 최종 표준문서로 등록하기까지 필요한 국제 표준화 활동 및 전략 등을 소개하고, 이와 관련한 국제표준화 활동의 에피소드 등을 소개한다.

자판기가 세상에 존재하는 절대적인 이유는 인간의 편의에 있다. 비록 말 못하고 행동 없는 정적인 대상물이지만 인간과 더불어 호흡하고 서로 상호 유기적인 관계를 형성하기를 주저치 않는다. 인간 친화적이고 인간 지향적이어서 인간과의 어떠한 소통도 거부하는 일이 없는 자판기. 그 다양한 종류와 영향력만큼 많은 화제를 불러일으키기도 하고, 웃지 못할 이런 저런 에피소드에서 각종 사건, 사고에 이르기까지 자판기가 삶 속에 투영되는 모습은 실로 다양하다. 인간의 삶이나 자판기의 삶이나 천태만상이기는 마찬가지. 그래서 자판기 주변에 투영되는 각종 천태만상의 화젯거리를 두서없이 담아보는 것도 재미있는 일이이라. 자, 그럼 지금부터 그 천태만상 자판기 세상 속으로 여행을 떠나 보자

As recently the network environment and application services have been more complex and diverse, there has. In this paper we introduce a scheme the extract useful information for network management by analyzing traffic data in user login file. For this purpose we use classification and association rule based on episode concept in data mining. Since login data has inherently time series characterization, convertible data mining algorithms cannot directly applied. We generate virtual transaction, classify transactions above threshold value in time window, and simulate the classification algorithm.

오봉국 서울대학교 명예교수는 본회의 전신인 한국가금협회 4대 회장이자 양계농가들이 최신기술과 정보를 습득할 수 있도록 양계인을 위한 정보지 '월간양계'를 발간한 초대 발행인이다. 한국 양계 역사를 만든 가금학의 대부, 오봉국 교수는 국내 양계산업 발전을 위한 노력과 애정이 남달랐다. 양계에 대한 전문지식과 정보가 부족했던 시기에 협회에서 '육추일지'를 제작한 것이 시초가 되어 1969년 11월 '월간양계'를 첫 발간으로 단 한 번의 결간 없이 발행되면서 이번 호로 50주년(통권 601호)를 맞이했다. 초대발행인으로 월간양계 제작에 힘쓰신 오봉국 명예교수의 그간 활동과 '월간양계' 초기 제작 당시의 에피소드를 들어본다.

Network attacks are various types with development of internet and are a new types. The existing intrusion detection systems need a lot of efforts and costs in order to detect and respond to unknown or modified attacks because of detection based on signatures of known attacks. In this paper, we present a design and implementation for mining prototype system to predict unknown or modified attacks through network protocol attributes analysis. In order to analyze attributes of network protocols, we use the association rule and the frequent episode. The collected network protocols are storing schema of TCP, UDP, ICMP and integrated type. We are generating rules that can predict the types of network attacks. Our mining prototype in the intrusion detection system aspect is useful for response against new attacks as extra tool.

The purpose of study is to understand how a principal of a child-care center and parents accept different episodes and experiences in admission counselling and their use of metaphorical expressions about this, and to illuminate the current state of play by examining the requirements of parents in selecting a child-care center. The subjects were 10 principals of private child-care centers located in the Gyeongsangbuk province of Korea, and the research materials for episodes and metaphors were collected and analyzed by means of in-depth and telephone interviews during an application period. In terms of the overall climate of the admission counselling, as shown in the various episodes, our results indicated that an increase of parents' demands occurred through a primarily consumer-centered environment, and the sudden increase in a fathers' participation, the inside circumstances of admission counselling in progress throughout the year, the non-existence of respect and credibility and the continuity of conflicts and were all observed to co-exist. In terms of the emotional meaning of counselling via metaphors, the following emotions could be inferred; hopelessness, anger, lethargy, stress, fear and eagerness. It is anticipate that this study will make a meaningful contribution to better illuminating and improving the current climates of here and now admission counselling.

In this study, discourse patterns of four peer small groups in learning science concepts were examined. Verbal interactions during small group discussions were audio- and video-taped, transcribed, and analyzed. Three coding frameworks for the levels of turns, interaction units, and episodes were developed. In the analyses of turns, no clear relationships between students' prior achievements and contributions to knowledge building processes were found. Partly participating modes and symmetrical interaction modes were dominant in the analyses of interaction units to suggest that some students did not participate actively in small group discussions and that students' verbal interactions were superficial. The analyses of episodes also indicated that agreeing and/or partial elaborating on group members' ideas were the most frequent patterns and dialectical exchanges were rare in small group discussion.
