VTS operators monitor movements of vessels within their jurisdiction and provide necessary information to ensure safe navigation. This involves communication with vessels within the VTS area. Contents of these communications are manually recorded in logbooks. However, manual logging faces limitations due to its inability to document details comprehensively and the challenge of constant recording amidst various duties. This study aimed to quantitatively analyze the workload associated with manual logkeeping by examining eye movements of VTS operators. Eye-tracking devices were used to measure gaze patterns of VTS operator at the Busan Port. Results indicated that approximately 65% of the VTS operators' gaze was directed towards the operation consoles, which were focal points for marine traffic information. In contrast, only about 9% of their gaze was directed towards logbooks. These findings suggest that while VTS operators predominantly focus on areas related to information gathering and dissemination, logbooks, being information-recording zones, receive minimal attention. For effective traffic management, the primary focus should be on information processing and provision rather than manual documentation.

Recently, as smart construction has become more active, construction companys are evaluating their smart construction capabilities in order to transform into smart construction companies. However, the revitalization of smart construction doesn't only apply to construction companies, the level of utilization of all participants, including owners, designers, construction project managers, and construction company, must be improved. Therefore, this study aims to present a model that evaluate the building information modeling (BIM) utilization level for measuring the BIM utilization level of construction management companies in executing construction project management. In this study, an AHP questionnaire survey targeting BIM practitioners to calculate the weight of each BIM utilization item and score it to construct evaluation model and evaluate it by applying it to construction management companies are conducted. As a result of the evaluation using model, there were differences between companies in the number of BIM users, and in the qualitative evaluation, it is mainly used for interference review, constructability review, and design change management. Therefore, in order to revitalize BIM, it is believed that it is necessary to strengthen BIM utilization ability through separate training for construction manager (CMr) and to present clear utilization standards and scope of work for BIM utilization in performing construction management tasks. Consequently, evaluating more construction management companies using the model presented in this study will result in the transition of CM companies to smart construction and revitalization of BIM adoption.

In order to prepare for the introduction of the E-Discovery system from the United States and to cope with some causable changes of legal systems, we propose a general E-Discovery process and essential tasks of the each phase. The proposed process model is designed by the analysis of well-known projects such as EDRM, The Sedona Conference, which are advanced research for the standardization of E-Discovery task procedures and for the supply of guidelines to hands-on workers. In addition, Machine Learning Algorithms, Open-source libraries for the Information Retrieval and Distributed Processing technologies based on the Hadoop for big data are introduced and its application methods on the E-Discovery work scenario are proposed. All this information will be useful to vendors or people willing to develop the E-Discovery service solution. Also, it is very helpful to company owners willing to rebuild their business process and it enables people who are about to face a major lawsuit to handle a situation effectively.

This study was intended to investigate differences in the recognition of the importance and performance of clinical nutrition management by using IPA. For the study, 100 clinical nutritionists working at medical institutions were analyzed. In all 17 categories of nutritional management, significant differences were observed in awareness of performance and importance. The categories with the greatest difference in importance and performance awareness were the nutritionist's participation in clinical nutrition education and related job development activities(1.38), and the lowest categories were the provision of therapeutic meals(0.69). Since IPA analysis results showed that participation in clinical nutrition education and related task development were both low in importance and performance, it should be improved first. A way to improve is for nutritionists to receive internal and external education. Above all things, for effective treatment, policies to include clinical nutritionist in the category of medical personnel, and cooperation between the medical sector and nutrition service management are necessary.

This paper analyzed the effects of changes in temporary workers on firm performances, and the effects of different workforce portions of business functions on corporate performances, respectively, using Korean venture business survey conduected in 2013. Results show that the performance of venture businesses decreases significantly, as the portion of temporary workers increases, which is more pronounced in small companies than in medium companies. In addition, the portions of workforce for administration, R&D, production, and sales don't have uniform effect on firm performance, where medium companies are affected significantly by the portions of production and sales, while small companies do not show significant relationship. This analysis implies that innovative firms, based on knowledge workers, need to use caution when they plan to increase temporary workers, which may lead to lower performance. However, we need further research for the basic causes of the possible lower performance.

This paper is to assess the influence of business field and qualification acquisition on job-getting and working business by conducting survey against the qualification holders of the national technology in the area of ICT industry. The result shows that respondents working in the ICT industry are 58.7% of samples. Their working business are shown as manufacturing area of broadcasting & telecommunication, telecommunication service, science/technology service, and media service. As for the value of qualification, the current working business area of respondents is more influential factor than the types of qualification. Workers of media service industry recognize the qualifications more useful in job-getting and job performance.

The purpose of this study is to analysis the effects of the organizational characteristics(firm size and fitness of business) and the level of information system usage(maturation of system and user's participation) to the EDI performance(level of usage and satisfaction). The sample used in this research consists of 101 EDI users. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: First, the fitness of business in organization have considerable effect to the satisfaction in the EDI system. Second, the user's participation have a positive effects to both the level of usage and the satisfaction in the EDI system. And the maturation of system have effect only to the level of usage in the EDI system. Those results are useful in the EDI management and operational policy.

As autonomous vehicle technology has been gradually developed, robots that have introduced autonomous navigation systems have been actively involved in areas where there is a lot of livelihoods such as industrial sites and accident sites. For this reason, the unmanned transportation system equipped with the autonomous traveling system is widely used in harmful environments where human access is difficult. In addition, the introduction of the autonomous driving system reduces the collision and casualties that occur in a mobility environment like the industrial field, and it helps the efficient work process. In addition, autonomous driving vehicles can be handled more safely and quickly in a wider area by transmitting the surrounding environment of each vehicle to a server connected to each autonomous driving vehicle and passing it through the main server. In this paper, by utilizing V2X communication for autonomous unmanned forklift system, it can increase industrial workload, reduce loss of life and damage to property through wide area forklifts.

Recently, the construction policy is rapidly changing and construction project becomes larger and more complex. Specialty contractors are in charge of the actual construction work, but they are considered to have low competence level. To strengthen competence of specialty contractors' employees, above all, it is essential to evaluate and to analyze the competence factors level for specialty contractors' employees. However, there is no in-depth research on competence factors level for specialty contractors. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the competence factor in order to find the high priority factor. The result of this study can be utilized for development of effective educational program for enhance specialty contractors' competence.

EPG (Electronic Program Guide), which shows the title, broadcasting time, genre, parental rating of a program, is recognized as one of the most successful data service by viewers and broadcasting stations, who want an improved TV watching experience and a more fruitful profit model, respectively. In the circumstance, the request for the development or renewal of EPG frequently occurs and so the developers are looking for ways to improve the efficiency of the EPG development. This paper addresses the need of the developers by devising an EPG feature model based on FODA (Feature-Oriented Domain Analysis) and the testcases of each feature of the model. By utilizing the EPG feature model and the testcases, the tasks of requirement analysing and testcase designing, which are major tasks of the EPG development process, can be improved.
