This study is designed to find out clinical factors and the effects of individual art therapy for workers involved in industrial accident. From January 2017 to July 2019, 10 industrially injured workers were individually subjected to 11 art therapy sessions, and a multidimensional psychological test S type was used to examine changes in clinical factors before and after individual art therapy. The results showed that the average of the five clinical factors ranges from 2.80 to 4.20, indicating that the psychological pain of workers injured was significant. As a result of bivariate correlation analysis, it was confirmed that meaningful correlation existed within the statistical scope of all factors. As for the difference in the results of multidimensional psychological tests before and after art therapy, out of the five clinical factors, the Z values of depressed, anger and anxiety were -2.405(p=.016), -2.148 (p=.032) and -2.102 (p=.036), to confirm that the depressed, anger and anxiety of the participants have eased somewhat after performing individual art therapy.

This study assessed psychiatrically referred 5-to 13-year-old children who presented inattention or hyperactivity as chief complaints. Demographic characteristics, primary diagnosis, and comorbid psychiatric conditions of them were identified, and they were assessed using questionnaires and neuropsychological tests. Primary diagnoses included ADHD, anxiety disorder, mental retardation, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, developmental language disorder and others. functional enuresis, conduct disorder, and developmental language disorder were among the secondarily diagnosed disorders. In patients diagnosed as ADHD, overall comorbidity rate was 55.3%. The disorders that frequently co-occured with ADHD were specific developmental disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, anxiety disorder and other. ADHD groups with or without comorbidity differed in performance IQ and CPT scores. ADHD group differed from externalizing disorders group in the information subscore of IQ, MFFT, and CPT scores, and differed in teachers rating scales, the uncommunication factor of CBCL, and CPT card error compared with internalizing disorders group. The authors concluded that inattentive or hyperactive children should be assessed using various instruments to differentiate other disorders and to identify possible presence of comorbid conditions.
This study investigated the factors influencing the perceptions that military officers can harbor regarding persons who stutter in terms of how well they can adapt to the army. In total, 89 participants were randomly assigned to each of the three different conditions ("fluent speech"=23, "mildly stuttered speech"=34, and "severely stuttered speech"=32). Subsequently, the participants were asked to listen and rate each sample in terms of "the speaker's communicative functioning (i.e., speech fluency, intelligibility, naturalness, speech rate), personal traits (i.e., likeability, anxiety level, intellectual level, and sociability), and the perceived degree of the adaptability to the army." The results showed that significant differences were found between "fluent speech" and "severely stuttered speech" in the perceived communicative functionings and the perceived adaptability to the army. Moreover, there were significant differences in the same variables between "mildly stuttered speech" and "severely stuttered speech." However, there were no significant differences between "mildly stuttered speech" and "fluent speech." Following the conducting of the Pearson correlation test, strong correlations were also found between the perceived communicative functionings, in particular "speech fluency," and the perceived adaptability to the army. Those results can be employed to argue that the communicative functionings can serve as factors which influence the perceptions of persons who stutter in terms of how well they can adapt to the army. Further discussion has taken place regarding the relationship between the perceived communicative functionings and the perceived adaptability to the army.
The objective of this study was to improve the self-expression of children through Orff activities. In this study, three (3) children from D day care center in Seoul who demonstrated withdrawn behaviors were chosen as research subjects, based on a self-expression test score of 50 points. The activities were conducted for 6 weeks, totaling fourteen (14) sessions, with each session being scheduled for forty (40) minutes. Across 14 sessions, the researcher conducted, analyzed and compared the self-expression scale of subjects, measured during the third and the last session. The researcher then qualitatively analyzed verbal and non-verbal self-expression behaviors of subjects by video recording the session. The analysis results shown by the study are as follows. First, the results of a quantitative analysis of the self-expression scale showed significant changes in self expression. Furthermore, the results of a qualitative analysis of verbal self-expression showed positive changes in self-perception and an increase in feelings of independence and activity than that of initial sessions.
Previous studies about lying were mainly executed in pressure situations, such as interviews or crime statements, which made people stressed. This study analyzed deceptive and non-deceptive writings in non-pressure situation through K-LIWC program, in which lies are rarely disclosed and hardly damage the liar even upon disclosure, Also, we compared these results with existing studies on lying. On both writing tasks, there were fewer first-person singular pronouns in deceptive writings than in the non-deceptive writings. The variables indicating cognitive complexity were less used by deceptive writings than by non-deceptive writings in first topic, but in the second topic, more were used by deceptive writings than true writings. In particular, previous studies claim that lies contain more negative emotional words while this report shows that lies in non-pressure situations contains more positive and fewer negative emotional words compared to truth. This finding implies that a situation influences the liar's psychological statement, which changes the contents of the lie.

The aim of this study is to examine the diagnostic profiles and related clinical variables of children with attention and hyperactivity in psychiatric outpatient clinic. Seventy one children with age range of 5 to 14 were diagnosed by DSM-IV, and assessment battery including KEDI-WISC, KPI-C, ADS(ADHD Diagnostic System) were completed. The subjects were divided into 3 diagnostic groups:ADHD only(n=17), ADHD comorbid(n=27), Other diagnosis(n=27). The results were as follows:In ADHD comorbid group, tic disorder, developmental language disorder, borderline intellectual function, oppositional defiant/conduct disorder, and learning disorder were combined in descending order. Other diagnosis group consisted of tic disorder, borderline intellectual function, depression/anxiety, oppositional defiant/conduct disorder, and others. There were significant differences in IQ, PIQ, and VIQ among the three groups, and ADHD only group showed higher scores of IQ and VIQ than ADHD comorbid group. On the KPI-C, there were no significant differences in all subscales among the three groups. On the visual ADS, omission error and sensitivity showed significant differences among the three groups, and ADHD comorbid group represented higher omission error and lower sensitivity than other diagnostic group. The findings indicated that the inattention and hyperactivity symptoms could be diagnosed into diverse psychiatric disorders in child psychiatry, and ADHD children with comorbidity will show more problems in academic performance and school adjustment.
The life of Antonin Artaud exactly reproduces a very cruel drama. He lived in constant anguish and suffered from severe mental pain. This research will trace his thoughts in his writings while he was a prisoner of language. Artaud was a poet filled with anxiety about language, things, being, and thought. Whenever he tried to explain the mystery of being by means of mundane language, he experienced psychological agony. His poetic thoughts began to break down, because of his identity loss. Nevertheless, he was destined to grasp the world through language. Artaud had suffered from mental illness during his youth. His mental illness was associated with his difficulty in creating poetry. In this research, the letter, Correspondance avec Jacques $Rivi{\grave{e}}re$, is analyzed. The poet refers to "the collapse of the spirit's core, and the erosion of the fundamental thought that slips away" to convey his linguistic incompetence. Hereafter, he constantly demonstrated anxious mental symptoms. Even though he became mentally deranged, he maintained his consciousness, as is apparent in his writings. Also, his spiritual belief is reflected in his mental uneasiness. While he was traveling through the Tarahumaras area in Mexico, he was obsessed with its primitive belief in the Peyote rituals, and he immersed himself in performing them. His unchristian belief was the product of his mystical personality. Until his last breath, he did not give up writing. Artaud's mental derangement does not mean lunacy, but if one insists in calling it so, that is a metaphor. His derangement comes from his refusal to accept his limitations and from his aspiring to regard his body in the same light as his intellectual perceptions. His intellect could manifest more easily when his mind was elevated to the extreme. Artaud's lunacy is no different from that of a profound philosopher. The lives of poets who suffer from mental derangement are more poetic than the lives of those who do not. Artaud's atypical emotions provide a way of to measure our own limitations, helplessness, and resignation. His scream is nonsegmental but different from that of a mental patient. That difference is why people are interested in his works and wish to delve into his writings.

30 DSM-III or DSM-III-R tic patients were assessed by hospital records and Yale Global Tic Severity Scale to study the common characteristics, clinical course and longterm outcome of tic disorders after 3.1-18.1 years, 73.3% of the patients(treated or untreated) have recovered or partially improved. Identifical precipitating factors were found in 9 patients. Associated disorders were ADHD, sleep disorder, and so on. The outcome according to age of onset, duration of follow-up and diagnoses have no statistically significance. Increased age at follow up was influenced improvement of tic symptoms, though statistically not significant(p=0.327). These results suggest that the outcome of tic disorder is not ominous and they are relatively good social adjustment inspite of carrying the tic symptoms. But this study has some limitations such as retrospective study and sample size. Studies designed prospectively with large sample would be needed to generalize theses results.

This study was a preliminary study on the adolescent psychiatric patients that show the characteristics of peer group neglect or rejection. We divided the adolescent psychiatric patients(n=25) into neglect-reject group(n=15) and non-neglect group(n=10). Each patient answered 8 scales and several questions about general relationships with friends. And, both the score of each 8 scales and answer about qusetions were examined. Lastly, records of 5 cases from neglect-reject group were analyzed. The depression dimension score of SCL-90-R, anxiety dimension score of SCL-9O-R, paranoid dimension score of SCL-90-R, interaction anxiousness scale(IAS) score were significantly different between 2 groups. On the result of case analysis about 5 patients of neglect-reject group, the adolescent psychiatric patients had a tendency to be rejected or neglected in case of having developmental problems(for example, language development or cognitive impairment).
This study aims to investigate the relation between adult attachment types and communication types of child who attend childhood-care center and their mothers, offer general information of parent education with the importance of language within family as the basic material and provide data and materials to improve communication skills of infants who attend childhood-care center. Based on these goals, study subjects in order to examine the relation between adult attachment types of mothers and communication types of child were established as follows: 1. What is the relation between adult attachment types of mothers and communication types of child? 2. How do attachment types of mothers affect on communication skills of child? The objects of this study were child aged 3 - 5 years old who attend children's house in Daejeon Metropolitan City and their mothers. Measurement tool of adult attachment and tool of communication types of child were used to them for analysis. As the results of the study, there was no correlation between the types of adult attachment and communication types of child. On the contrary, there were passive correlations between dependency and negative communication types and between insecurity and positive communication types. Based on the correlation analysis, insecurity among types of mothers' adult attachment was a major variable that can predict communication skills of children's in the result of multiple regression analysis.
