In this study, we selected a DC servo motor as an actuator of the marine diesel engine governor and constructed the position control system of the DC servo motor using the algorithm proposed by authors. Next, we proposed an another method to construct an adaptive control system for marine diesel engine by regarding the controlled system including the DC servo motor as a second order controlled system and verified the validity of this method through the real time control responses. Finally, the results have shown a good response characteristic.

This study was performed to induced in mice infected with Capillaria hepatica and treated cyclophosphamide. The typical changes of mice were observed hematologically. The results were as follows ; 1. The liver/body weight ratios of mice were Increased to thee peak at the 6th week and then gradually decreased. 2. Hematologically, eosinophils were increased to the peak at the 6th week and then gradually decreased.

The entire nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete frames up to collapse, is analyzed by the displacement control method and the combined layered and nonlayered method. All of the rigidities of section are calculated approximately by a sum over all the layers for the layered method, are used the integral values over the cross section area for the nonlayered method. The spurious sensitivity to the chosen element size in the result of analysis by finite element method for the materials with strain-softening can be overcome by modifying the strain distribution based on the concept of fracture energy at plastic hinge considering the applied axial load.

우리나라의 전통주는 어떤 재료, 어떤 방식으로 만들어됐든 고래(古來)로부터 우리나라 사람이 주식(主食)으로 삼아온 쌀로 빚는 술로서, 지금처럼 내다 파는 술이 아니라 가정에서 빚어 상비(常備)해두고 나눠 마시는 가양주(家釀酒)를 그 뿌리로 하여 발달해왔다. 특히 천신목적(薦新目的)에서 출발하여 신인공음(神人共飮)하는 음식으로, 반주(飯酒)를 비롯하여 부모와 향리(鄕里)의 노인 봉양(奉養)과 손님 접대, 그리고 농사일에 쓰는 농주로 사용되었다는 공통된 문화와 역사를 바탕에 깔고 있는 것이 특징이다.

고병원성조류인플루엔자는 2003년 12월 10일 충북 음성군에서 최초 발생한 이후 2004년 3월 20일 경기 양주시를 마지막으로 총 19건이 발생되었으며, 지난 5월 29일 경남 양산지역을 마지막으로 이동제한이 전국적으로 해제되었다. 정부에서는 2004년 9월 21일부로 국제수역사무국(OIE)에 국내종식상황을 통보하였고 이에 일본에서는 국내산 가금육의 수입중단조치를 10월 13일에 해제하기에 이르렀다. 그러나 6월 16일 인도네시아를 기점으로 베트남(6.29), 태국(7.6), 중국(7.6) 등 총 15개에서 재발$\cdot$확산되고 있으며, 태국에서는 이종간의 전파로 호랑이가 30여마리가 조류인플루엔자로 폐사하고 유사증상을 보이는 호랑이 30마리를 살처분하기(10월 21일)에 이르렀다.

"Yang Ju Bang" written in Korea is the amonymous old rice-wine book. Yang Ju Bang is supposed to be written in 19th century. The contents of "Yang Ju Bang consist of seventy one items on alcoholic beverages and one item abut "Jeup Jang'. Nonglutinous rice was the most commonly used ingredient, Of the 35 different ingredients that are used in the first step nonglutinous rice makes up 78%. When brewed rice wine, the use of distiller's grains in rice wine is abut 11%.

The effects of water-cement ratio, age, and admixture such as fly ash, silica fume on the bond strength between aggregate and mortar were investigated. As the result, with increasing of water-cement ratio, the bond strength was slightly decreased while the compressive strengths of mortar and concrete were seriously decreased. The rate of strength gain of bond strength was not decreased with increasing of water-cement ratio while that of compressive strength was gradually decreased.

In this paper, a sensorless realization method is proposed for the magnetic levitation system. Also we design the robust servo controller which based on the two degree-of-freedom-control theory and H$\sub$.inf./ control theory for the system. From time responses, we confirm that the proposed sensorless method can be applied the magnetic levitation system. Also the designed controller has the good disturbance rejection and the reference tracking performance.

In this paper, we have designed and implemented a portable e-tongue (electronic tongue) system using MACS (multi array chemical sensor) and PDA. The system embedded in PDA has merits such as comfortable user interface and data transfer by internet from on-site to remote computer. MACS was made up 7 electrodes (${NH_4}^+$, $Na^+$, $Cl^-$, ${NO_3}^-$, $K^+$, $Ca^{2+}$, $Na^+$, pH) and a reference electrode. For learning the system, we adapted the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm based on the back-propagation, which could iteratively learned the pre-determined standard patterns, in e-tongue system. Conclusionally, the relationship between the standard patterns and unknown pattern can be easily analyzed. The e-tongue was applied to whiskeys and cognac (one high level whisky, one low level whiskey, two cognac) and 2 sample whiskeys for each standard patterns and unknown patterns.
