  • 단방향 서비스만을 제공하였던 기존의 케이블과 위성 방송은 인터넷을 활용하여 양방향 서비스를 제공하게 되었고, 이로 인해 사용자는 방송 시간에 구애받지 않고 원하는 콘텐츠를 시청할 수 있게 되었다. 현재는 더 나아가 사용자가 원하는 디바이스에서 자유롭게 콘텐츠를 이용할 수 있는 N-스크린 서비스를 제공하기 위한 노력을 기울이고 있다. 기존 방송 시스템에서 유료 콘텐츠를 보호하기 위해 사용한 접근제어 시스템에서는 암호키의 갱신 시간 때문에 사용자 소유가 아닌 디바이스에 일시적인 시청권한을 부여하는 N-스크린 서비스를 제공할 수 없지만 기존 환경에서 키 계층을 늘리는 방법을 통해 이러한 문제를 해결할 수 있다. 하지만 N-스크린 서비스가 제공되는 것은 사용자가 댁내의 TV 뿐만 아니라 다양한 모바일 디바이스를 사용하는 멀티 디바이스 환경을 요구하게 된다. 기존의 접근제어 시스템에서 여러 디바이스를 지원하려면 디바이스의 수 만큼 암호키를 분배하기 위한 메시지를 생성해야 되며, 이로 인해 메시지를 생성하기 위한 시간과 통신 대역폭에 오버헤드가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 N-스크린 서비스를 제공하기 위해 키 계층을 늘린 접근제어 시스템에서 멀티 디바이스를 효율적으로 지원하기 위한 키 관리 기법을 제안한다.

  • In this Paper, we analyze the application of Interactive Data Broadcasting in DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) in the accordance with convergence of service and technology. With the acceleration of digital convergence in the Ubiquitous period substantial development of digital media technology and convergence of broadcasting and telecommunication industry are being witnessed. Consequently these results gave rise to newly combined-products such as DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), WCDMA(Wide-band code division multiple access), Wibro(Wireless Broadband Internet), IP-TV (Internet protocol TV) and HSDPA(High speed downlink packet access). The preparatory stage for the implementation of Interactive Data Broadcasting Service will be reached by the end of December, 2006. DMB is the first result of a successful convergence service between Broadcasting and Telecommunication in new media era. Multimedia technology and services are the core elements of DMB. The Data Broadcasting will not only offer various services of interactive information such News, Weather, Broadcasting Program etc, but also be linked with characteristic function of mobile phone such as calling and SMS(Short Message Service) via Return Channel.

  • Physical One-way Transfer, one of network Separating Network Technologies, shut off intrusion possibilities by removing data transfer line from external network to internal network. Physical One-way Transfer technology can not support legacy services based duplex transmission. Legacy services operating need agent for extra service with the support. But, Agent development have problems with adding cost and open internal protocols. In this papers, We analyzed legacy services between Control network and OA network in working SCADA systems, and based on the results obtained from the analysis, categorized the legacy services into three forms. We propose an agent generation method of the three service categories for Physical One-Way Transfer System. In addition, we design an automatic generation tool using the proposed method.

Implementation of a Medical Information Transmission Protocol Based on Mobile Wireless Communication (무선 이동통신 기술에 기반한 의료 정보 전송 프로토콜 구현)

  • The main goal of this paper is to propose and to test a radio protocol based CSMA/CA (Carrier Sense Multiple Access with Collision Avoidance) for the purpose of enhancing the existing medical information system. The feature of the new medical information system, Medical Application Radio System(MARS), which operating in real time is the transmission of medical information in bi-direction between the hospital control office and patients mobile stations. MARS monitors patients linked to the network by radio and provides quick alarm, flexible documentation capabilities, asnd fast treatment for the analysis of collected medical data. The existing medical information system, radio telemetry system which transfers the message of patients to the CAP(Central Access Point) unit in one way at the speed of 9.6Kbps and operates a channel frequency bandwidth. To verify the Performance of the proposed system, we have performed the numerical analysis and have implemented a test system which consists of the 2.4Ghz radio transceiver and personal computer.

  • 오늘날 세계화와 정보통신 분야의 기술혁신으로 기업들의 경영활동 영역이 점점 글로벌화 되어가면서 물류산업의 환경도 급격히 변화해 나가고 있다. 세계적으로 확산되고 있는 인터넷망이나 물류망은 시간과 거리의 제약을 완화시켰으며, 고객들의 정보와 상품에 대한 접근이 쉬워짐에 따라 기업에 대한 고객욕구가 다양해지고 있는 실정이다. 이러한 경영환경의 변화에 따라 우리 기업들은 보다 경쟁력 있는 물류서비스를 고객에게 제공하기 위하여 물류 서비스의 유연성 개선, 물류 전문 인력 확보 등에 힘쓰는 한편 물류 부문의 취약성을 극복하기 위한 물류자동화 시스템 도입 등 다양한 방안을 강구하고 있다. 현재 도입된 수배송 관제 시스템은 GPS를 기반으로 하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 GPS를 이용한 관제 시스템은 위치 정보만 수신하여 위성의 사각지역 또는 실내에서 작동이 잘 되지 않는 문제가 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기위해 본 논문에서는 스마트폰을 사용한 수배송 관제 시스템을 설계하였다. 스마트폰은 GPS와 3G통신 모두 이용하여 양방향으로 통신할 수 있으므로 기존의 GPS를 이용한 단방향 수배송 관제 시스템보다 정보를 정확하고 효율적으로 관제할 수 있다. 제안하는 시스템은 물류 수배송 상에서 발생되는 데이터를 실시간 모니터링이 가능해야하며, 관리자와 수배송자간의 신속한 정보 전달을 통해 배송조건을 최적화시키고, 물류의 흐름을 제어하여 배송 시에 발생하는 문제에 대한 신속한 해결을 통해서 배송시간을 최소화하는 것이 목적이다.

  • With the rapid progress of wireless technologies today, mobile terminals with multiple access interfaces are emerging. In recent years, WLAN (Wireless Local Area Networks) has become the premier choice for many homes and enterprises. WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) has also emerged as the wireless standard that aims to deliver data over long distances. Therefore, it is important to explore efficient integration methods for delivering multimedia data between heterogeneous wireless networks. In this paper, we developed the simulation models and environments for the mobile multihomed node that has both WiMAX and WLAN interfaces and can move around in both networks by using mobile IP. In order to verify the developed models, we designed and constructed several simulation scenarios, e.g. movement in WiMAX/WLAN, group mobility, MANET, and nested MIP under the various traffic environments such as oneway or bothway UDP packets, FTP traffic, and voice with SIP protocol. The simulation results show that the developed models are useful for mobility studies in various integrated wireless networks.

  • Recently, real-time streaming services are gaining popularity among the MZ generation and the market size is continuously growing. Pre-recorded and edited videos only show one-way communication, but real-time streaming services have the advantage of responding immediately to questions and requests from users, as they enable two-way communication. With the transition from face-to-face culture to non-face-to-face culture due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of users communicating in real-time video for activities such as classes, meetings, and leisure has dramatically increased. However, as real-time streaming services become more active and diverse generations participate, there is a problem of conflicts arising from language differences, including the use of neologisms. To address this issue, this paper proposes a method of collecting the meaning of neologisms through the Wikipedia API and presenting them to each other, so that they can understand each other's intentions.

  • Digital-twin technology is emerging as an innovative solution for all industries, including manufacturing and production lines. Therefore, this paper optimizes all the energy used in a biomass plant based on unused resources. We will then implement a digital-twin prototype for biomass plants and evaluate its performance in order to improve the efficiency of plant operations. The proposed digital-twin prototype applies a standard communication platform between the framework and the gateway and is implemented to enable real-time collaboration. and, define the message sequence between the client server and the gateway. Therefore, an interface is implemented to enable communication with the host server. In order to verify the performance of the proposed prototype, we set up a virtual environment to collect data from the server and perform a data collection evaluation. As a result, it was confirmed that the proposed framework can contribute to energy optimization and improvement of operational efficiency when applied to biomass plants.

  • XML-based open protocol, XMPP users to pass messages to other users, which means that a decentralized communication network is the network infrastructure and enable it. In addition, XMPP servers using a professional server-to-server protocol to communicate with each other and decentralized social networks and collaboration framework provides an important possibility. In this paper, the features of XMPP messaging protocol is applicable to automotive telematics terminals XMPP-based platform design, and presence of two-way communication point for the problem, point-to-point session setup issues, security issues, compatibility issues, and to solve the scalability problem XMPP-based messaging system was implemented.

  • Recently, due to improvement of computer performance and development of information devices, technology of mobile augmented reality is proliferating rapidly. However, because most of contents are passive or limitary, user can not feel interest and immersion. This paper designs interaction user interface system of 2 dimensional drawing based on mobile augmented reality to make bi-directional communication between the real world and the virtual world possible by using the vision based augmented reality and the database system.
