  • Research ethics is the basic attitude for researchers. Thanks to our predecessors we are able to conduct systematic studies. The current trend of results and the amount of study-oriented assessments make the side effect that researchers conduct SCI (Science Citation Index) studies. Since the Declaration of Helsinki, the importance of the right, safety and welfare for human participants have improved. In the present study, I looked into other countries' standpoints concerning the subject of the responsibilities for research ethics and compared them with Korean's standpoint. Recently, the Ministry of Health and Welfare revised the laws for bioethics and safety. In the point of bioethics, I checked out the function, exemption and process of the Institutional Review Board for the future researcher. It is suggested to use the research note to verify a study procedure and protect oneself from research misconducts.

  • The Divine Bell of King Seongdeok was completed in 771 A.D. It is a true masterpiece both grand in its size and style (height 3.66 m, diameter 2.23 m, thickness 20.3 cm, weight 18.9 ton), illustrating the essence of the Korean bronze culture. However, there are no remaining records about its casting: where the raw material came from, how the materials were mixed and how the bell was casted. The absence of such records has limited the understanding of the bell. This article contains analysis of three samples collected from a protruding part inside of the bell during a safety test for the bell by the Gyeongju National Museum. The main issues are the element composition of the bell, microstructure on the casting time and the source where the raw material came from.

The Study on an Automated Generation Method of Road Drawings using Road Survey Vehicle (도로교통안전점검차량을 이용한 도로의 자동도면화 생성 연구)

  • PURPOSES : This study is to develop a automate road mapping system using ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) for road management. METHODS : The road survey van named ARASEO(Automated Road Analysis and Safety Evaluation TOol) was used to generate highway drawings for Korea National Road number 37 automatically. In order to generate the highway drawings for purpose of road management, it is required to acquired the information for highway alignment, road width and road facilities such as safety barrier and road sign. Therefore the survey van acquired and analyzed the road width, median and guardrail data using rear side laser sensor of ARASEO and recognized the traffic control sign and chevron sign using foreside camera images. Also the highway alignment which is the basic information for highway drawing can be analyzed by acquisition the every 1m positional and attitude data using GPU and IMU sensor and developed algorithm. Finally, in this research the CAD based drawing software was developed to draw highway drawing using the analysis result from ARASEO. RESULTS : This study showed the comparison result of the surveyed road width and drawing data. To make the drawing of the road, we made the Autocad ARX program witch run in CAD menu interface. CONCLUSIONS : Using this program we can create the road center line, every 500m horizontal and vertical ground plan drawing automatically.

  • Computer are being used in an increasingly wide variety of application areas, and their correct operation is often critical for business success and humasn safety. Developing high quality software products is therefore of prime important. The recent game software become popular, so we are interest in the game software testing. According to the kinds of game software, because it has the different characters, so game software testing is very difficult. According to enviroment change, Recently, online game is popular, so online game trade in the world market. In the company, developers try to develop the reliable game software. But we can experience many fault of game software in spite of the beta testing. Especially, Testing is very difficult on the game software because of various environment and functionality. We tried the survey for game user. In this paper, we study the quality testing metric of game software fault basis on the ISO/IEC 9126. Also, we consist of the check list of game software a point of view user. It apply for the reliability testing metrics of ISO/IEC 9126.

  • After spacecraft is separated from the launch vehicle, first of all spacecraft deploy the solar array. Solar array deployment is one of the key factors deciding the success of the spacecraft mission. Therefore, It is necessary to predict the solar array deployment motion and check the safety through calculating the load on the tape hinges of solar array using the deployment analysis in the initial design phase. In this paper, solar array deployment analysis is performed by multi-body dynamics simulation program. From the analysis results, assessment on the safety also is carried out. In addition, hinge characteristic test is fulfilled to find out hinge characteristic, and is applied to the deployment analysis.

  • Driver for safety always check the status of their vehicle, and it is essential to understand. When driver know vehicle driving status, there is know vehicle driving status to use vehicle realtime control data by OBD-II of vehicle network and connected OBD-II connector. But, connector to receive OBD-II data differ each communication connection method to connect smart device.(such as smartphone, blackbox, EDR) if vehicle driver change another smart device from smart device(such as android -> iphone, iphone -> android), vehicle driver exist the inconvenience that purchase new OBD-II connector. in this paper, As make up for the fault, there is to implement one OBD-II connector that integrate Bluetooth, Wifi, WCDMA module. as result, anything smart device was notified realtime vehicle control data through implemented one OBD-II connector in this paper

  • 최근 가공 송전선로 건설에 대한 인근 지역주민들의 반대에 부딪쳐, 불가피하게 가옥이 밀집된 주거지역을 우회하거나 토지 활용도가 낮은 산악지를 이용하여 선로를 건설하는 경우가 대부분이다. 이와 같이 경과지의 제한성으로 인해 때때로 국지적인 기상현상 발생 우려가 있는 지역에 불가피하게 송전선로를 건설하는 경우가 있으며, 이상기상 현상이 발생하는 11월말에서 3월초 사이에 경기북부 지역의 국지성 돌풍에 의해 갤로핑(Galloping)현상이 종종 발생되었다 갤로핑은 바람으로 인해 전력선이 횡진과 출렁임이 발생되는 현상을 말한다. 송전선로의 지지물에는 주로 철탑이 사용되고, 전력선은 ACSR 410mm 복도체가 주로 사용된다. 송전선로는 경제성과 계통의 안전성을 고려하여 수직배열로 2회선용 표준철탑을 사용한다. 갤로핑 현상은 바람에 의해 전력설에 심한 진동을 일으켜, 수직 배열된 전력선 상간 단락 또는 전력선과 가공지선간의 지락으로 고장전류가 생기고, 고장전류에 의한 보호계전기 동작으로 선로가 트립(Trip)되며, 이로 인한 전력공급 중단이 발생된다. 또한 전력선의 기계적인 진동에 의하여 전력선의 단선 또는 지지물의 파손으로 영구고장을 일으킬 수도 있다. 본 논문에서는 경기북부지역의 산악지에 설치된 154kV 송전선로에서 산비탈면을 타고 오르는 상승 바람에 의한 갤로핑 사례를 국내 최초로 현장에서 촬영한 동영상 자료를 토대로 소개하고, 갤로핑 발생시 송전선로에 미친 영향 등 검토 결과를 설명하였다. 전력선에 생긴 아크 흔적을 토대로 전력선간의 단락이 발생했던 지점을 실제로 관측할 수 있었다. 최근 갤로핑으로 인한 상간 단락 고상 방지론 목적으로 개발된 폴리머 상간스페이서(Interphase spacer)의 시공 사례를 소개하고, 현재까지 상간스페이서가 설치된 송전선로의 점검 결과를 소개하고자 한다.

  • As people's living standards and expectations for life increase, by applying advanced technology in the city, to enhance the convenience and safety needs are being expanded gradually. Accordingly, so the future of the city to see a viable alternative to that the ubiquitous city fused information communication technologies, large-scale projects conducted at the national level. Sectoral Disaster Prevention is ready for sure how much the lack of response capabilities in the field for checking solution has been suggested for The National Emergency Management Agency. These results present a Sectoral Disaster Prevention response capabilities somewhat different in were identified. Through these are proposed policy recommendations about Sectoral Disaster Prevention and insufficient areas of step response capabilities and building fire protection system approach combines ubiquitous technology in the new paradigm rather than traditional disaster management, greet era of ubiquitous.

  • Ship can be faced with more dangerous situations than ground vehicles due to the opened surroundings, sea. Therefore, it is very important to prevent the ship emergency by finding risk factor. In this paper, We propose context-aware monitoring system which that frequently check the condition of ship using the data that get through the installed sensor in the ship as gyro-sensor, strain-gage sensor. We analyzed sensor data through backpropagation algorithm and the Condition and Safety Information of sailing ship is transmitted to the crew's personal mobile device in the ship. Thus, moving crew can check the ship's condition in real time. As a result, we obtained about 95% accuracy for fire risk context and about 89% accuracy for body of Ship risk context in the simulated experiments.

  • As the industrial society is developing wars, terrors, and vicious crimes is getting increased. These dangerous factors are caused of casualty and subversiveness of social order. Such vicious crimes lead people to feeling of insecurity. That is why naturally people want to build and inspect strengthened security system. CCTV camera system which can be said as the most popular security system is being installed in public places has large number of floating population. This trend is required to develop the intelligent video security technology and propagate it since the importance of security technology is getting high. This thesis will be described regarding the trend of the intelligent surveillance camera and the scenario.
