Characteristics of Hydrodynamic Interaction on Tug-Barge Using Ship Handling Simulator (선박조종시뮬레이터를 활용한 예부선의 유체력 간섭 특성에 관한 연구)

  • In order to investigate the hydrodynamic interaction between the tug-barge and bank or ship which is crossing to the opposite direction, the towing simulations of tug-barge transportation were performed. Heading of barge, yaw moment and lateral force of tug boat were obtained by this simulation. The characteristics of results were analyzed and the safety towing method for tug-barge operation was proposed. In order to reduce the slewing motion of barge for safe towing operation, the speed of tug boat should be kept slow ahead state with shortened towing line as length of barge within the limits of the possible.

  • The concept of “Environmental Stress(ES)” can be used as a useful index when assessing the maritime traffic safety. It is composed of two parts, one due to geographical restriction and another one due to traffic congestion. In this paper, Environmental Stress due to geographical restriction is reviewed Its characteristics are surveyed from the sample calculation results for some hypothetical cases, such as approaching a breakwater, navigating in a long straight channel, and in a long bended channel. Sample calculations are also carried out for the approach channels in Busan and Kwangyang harbor. By using this ES concept, it is expected that objective ana quantitative assessment of safety is possible for various environmental conditions when navigating in a harbor or in a fairway.

  • Since 2014, MOLIT (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport) is carrying out a KASS project to develop and construct Korean SBAS. KASS can cause damage of human & properties if it has some problem during operation. Therefore, system safety assessment for KASS development is very important. Principal point of system safety assessment is the allocation of DAL(design assurance level) based on the hazard identification and classification. In this parer, the author conducts the allocation of DAL for KASS & its sub-systems based on the international standard(SAE ARP4761), which suggests a best practice of aviation system safety assessment. The result of this paper are the first step of system safety assessment, and can be used for further system safety assessment of KASS project.

  • If a quality system is properly designed and implemented, it will be one of the most effective tools in the prevention of quality problems, as well as potential product liability incidents. The purpose of this research is to present how the quality system should developed and focuses more on what it should include for the sake of preventing unsafe products and design. Includings are descriptions on how a manufacturer can put a comprehensive procedures and processes for product safety and effort in place, and move their existing quality system to a new level.

  • 신의 약품을 개발하는 과정에서 안전성의 평가는 신약후보물질의 인체에 대한 유해의 정도를 파악하고 신약후보물질들의 독성을 초기에 검색하여 의약품으로써의 개발여부를 결정하는데 기여함으로써 개발연구에 소요되는 시간 및 경제적 낭비를 줄일 수 있는 매우 중요하고도 필수적인 단계이다. 또한 생체독성억제물질의 개발에 관한 연구는 다양한 연구기법을 활용하여 각종 생체이물에 의한 생체독성의 발현을 억제하거나 발현된 독성반응을 완화, 경감시키는 물질이나 기법을 탐색함으로써 신약후보물질의 창출에 기여 할 수 있을 것으로 기대되고 있다. 이와 같은 관점에서 안전성 연구팀은 그 연구분야를 크게 특수독성검색기술 개발연구와 생체독성억제물질 개발연구 분야로 대별하고 1)발암조기검색법 개발연구 2)독성물질 대사효소계에 관한 연구 3)유전자 손상억제물질개발연구 4)간독성 억제물질 개발연구 5)신장독성 억제물질 개발연구 6)면역독성 억제물질 개발연구 7)대사 및 내분비계 독성억제물질 개발연구 8)순환기계독성 억제물질 개발연구 등 총 8개의 세부과제와 안전성평가제도의 국제화를 위한 제도 및 기준에 관한 연구를 수행하고 있는바 이들의 연구목표와 내용 그리고 1차년도의 연구결과를 개괄적으로 소개함으로써 본 과제가 포괄하는 제반 안전성연구내용에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다.

  • Nanomaterials, which have the issues related to toxicity, environmental exposures, and human health, have been focused on significance of their safety management. Regarding their higher applicability for multiple sectors from chemicals to consumer products, the most important thing is to consider international policy cases categorized by regulatory intensities, applicable sectors, and substance types for establishing of convincing safety management system on nanomaterials. For minimizing the nanomaterials' risk potential, developing the system that underlines a precautionary principle is also needed. Regulatory system on nanomaterials should be applicable to the status quo and be a proactive approach to rapidly changing international trends.

  • Recently, it is actively under study for the implementation of advance surface movement ground control systems (A-SMGCS) level IV in Korea. To ensure the safety of the A-SMGCS system needs the safety assessment, and Eurocontrol is encouraged to perform the functional hazard assessment, preliminary system safety assessment, and system safety assessment to the safety assessment of A-SMGCS. In this paper, we identify the hazard of A-SMGCS through a functional hazard assessment. Therefore, we will identify 29 types of hazard for the A-SMGCS level IV and serve as important data to evaluate the severity of each hazard.

  • During earthquake, the safety control plane at home is very important to prepare the turnover and falling accident of furniture as a disaster measures. But a lot of people might not have knowledge and education on the safety control plane at home such as the fixing of furniture. Therefore, in this study, the test application of iPhone was developed to enlighten and educate them using the smart phone. Through this application, residents, furniture store employees, moving service workers, builders and etc. will be able to understand the safety control plane at home.

Spatial Distribution Characteristic Analysis of Traffic Accidents in Ulsan (울산광역시 교통사고 유형별 공간적 분포 특성 분석)

  • 교통사고의 발생요인에는 다양한 원인들이 있지만 본 연구에서는 공간적으로 접근하여 사고유형별 분포특성을 도출하기 위해 공간적 자기상관성 분석을 수행하였다. 논문에서는 2012년부터 2014년까지 울산광역시에서 발생된 교통사고를 대상으로 분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 울산시 전체 교통사고 약 53%는 안전운전불이행이며 다음으로는 안전거리미확보, 신호위반 순으로 나타났다. 밀도분석 결과는 사고유형별로 분포가 차이가 있었으며 안전운전불이행의 경우 가장 큰 군집은 중심시가지인 달동과 삼산동 중심에 나타났으며 중앙선침범은 도시의 중심부 보다는 면지역에 넓게 퍼져서 발생되었으며 산업단지가 있는 동구지역에 군집이 크게 나타났다. 따라서 읍면동별 공간적 특성을 파악하기 위해 Moran's I분석과 LISA분석을 수행한 결과 안전운전불이행, 안전거리미확보, 신호위반, 교차로운행방해 모두 중심시가지인 신정동, 달동, 삼산동이 공간적 자기상관성이 높았으며 중앙선침범의 경우 밀도분석 결과와 마찬가지로 중심시가지 이외에 읍면 지역도 자기상관성이 더 높게 나타났다. 이를 통해 사고유형별 공간의존성 및 이질성을 파악하여 교통사고 다발지역을 도출하고 이를 토대로 지역특성에 맞는 저감 대책 마련에 활용되고자 한다.
