O presente estudo tem como objetivo principal analisar a influência de vocabulários de origem africana em uso no português brasileiro(PB). A fim disso, observamos os tipos e as características das línguas africanas. E ainda, para compreender a situação atual de uso desses termos no Brasil, apresentamos um panorama do registro dos vocábulos de origem africana no PB, e organizamos os vocabulários em três categorias, especialmente, nos registros dos séculos XIX e XX. Em primeiro, a categoria 1 pode ser usada em qualquer interação social, contrastando com as outras duas categorias. Em segundo, a categoria 2 é constuída de termos informais, de uso coloquial que, eventualmente, dependendo da situação, são substituídos por outras. Por último, a categoria 3 é de termos marcadamente informais, de uso restrito. Através disso, comparamos os registros anteriores com os dados obtidos da nossa pesquisa. Com os resultados, podemos reconhecer a estabilidade e o dinamismo do uso desses termos hoje no PB.

One of Africa's most accomplished writer, Chinua Achebe is not only known to have to contributed to writing a renowned folk literature but to contributing to the expansion of the English language. This research paper seeks to explore Achebe's most widely read novel "Things Fall Apart" and his 1 other novel and analyze how the incorporation and purposeful use of Ibo words, proverbs and phrases contribute to not only conveying the rich African experience but expanding the English language.

Diurnal variation of the catch of some important species groups in the Northwestern coast of Africa were studied on the basis of fish catching data compiled by a stern trawler(G.T., 499ton 2,200ps). The experimental fishing has been conducted from September, 1975 to August, 1976. The catch of the important groups I. e. squid, cuttlefish, octopus, sole fish and sea bream revealed different fluctuation patterns. The results obtained are as follows: 1. The catch of squid caught in daytime(0900-1800) was greater than that caught in night (2100-0600). 2. The catch of cuttle fish caught in daytime was more than that caught in night. In the daytime, large size group(heavier than 300g) was caught dominately during midday (1200-1500) whereas the small size group, lighter than 300g, was caught dominately during the time of sunrise (0600-0900) and sunset (1800-2100). 3. The catch of octopus varied according to the size groups. The large sige group, heavier than 700g, was caught predominately during daytime and the small size group, lighter than 700g, was caught predominately during night. 4. The catch of sole fish caught in night was greater than that caught in daytime. 5. The catch of sea bream and miscellaneous fishes including sardin, jack-mackerel and etc. was greater in daytime.

With emphasis on various local cultures to confront the Western central culture, Ngugi wa Thiong'o proposes them 'to move horizontally' so as not to repeat the oppressive culture of the West. We need not only dialogues between dominant languages and peripheral languages, but also between marginal languages. With respect to this point, Ngugi thinks that translation itself could be very effective. Ngugi wants to stimulate writing and speaking in marginalized languages and promote translation as a means of making these languages visible. He regards translation as a conversational tool among languages and cultures in the multicultural global community. As is already well known, his determination to write his later works only in his native Gikuyu language has a great meaning in his anti-colonial as well as anti-neocolonial movement. Its proof is his recent effort to cooperate with Jalada Africa. Simon Gikandi criticized the English translation of Matigari as a denial of cultural hegemony of Gikuyu language and its subordination to the global cultural market. However, the concept of 'thick translation', helps us move from Gikandi's doubt of the 'epistemology of translation' to a meaningful strategy of postcolonial translation. Facing some of the scholars' doubts related to his over-stressing language problem, Ngugi points out that the world has managed to function well through translation: the possibility of translation between cultures and translation as a mediating tool for communication nationally as well as internationally. Based on this two-sided solution of translation, he believes that we can overcome the opposition between relativity and universality, center and periphery, and the dominant and the subordinate.

In the design of any picture book, graphic artists employ the use of color, typeface and illustration to produce attractive book covers. This study is an analysis of selected book covers in the 'Africana Children's Book Awards' (Young Readers category) between 2009 and 2014. The book covers are mainly illustrations originally done in media such as acrylics and oil paintings on canvas. In the article, the author analyses the front covers in terms of hue, Saturation and brightness using a colour map. This work also discusses why certain colours have been used in the design of the covers thus; providing information on color scheme trends for picture books in the Children's Africana Awards Category.

본 연구는 코로나-19 이후로 다시 활성화된 해외여행과 관련된 정보를 데이터베이스화해 정리하고, 폭발적으로 늘어난 여행객들을 위한 여행지 추천을 제시하였다. 또한 여행객들만이 아닌 여행사들을 위해 여행객들의 정보 역시 데이터베이스화하여 여행지 상품 수요조사 등에 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 코로나-19로 인해 각국의 입국 정책은 다양해졌고, 해외여행이 단절된 기간 동안 소비자들은 여행에 대한 최신 정보를 계속해서 접하지 못했다. 그래서 이 데이터를 통해 소비자들의 수요에 맞는 여행지를 추천하고, 여행사들은 소비자들의 필요를 확인할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

This study was conducted to analyze the characteristics of records related to Korea shown in the cataloging records of national libraries of the main 10 developing countries in Asia and Africa. The results are as follows. To begin with, Korea-related records in most national libraries are very poor and under 0.1% of the library. Except for National Library of Viet Nam, the figure is under 3,000 volumes and generally 2 times less than Japan related records. Second, except for National Library of Iran and Viet Nam most national libraries romanize Korean materials, there are not marked with the original Korean language and unfeasible Hangeul search. Third, on investigation of the subject distribution in sub criteria of Korea-related records, subject related to history and economy is largely shown in the highest rate. Fifth, among the Korea-related subject heading, Taekwondo is marked with distinction from Karate in most libraries except for 7 national libraries. Dokdo is marked with the geographical name of 'Korea' in 7 national libraries and East Sea (Donghae) already is marked with 'Japan, Sea of' in 7 national libraries. Amnokgang, Dumangang, and Baekdusan-related records did not search at all in most national libraries.

우리나라는 2009년 OECD DAC 회원국으로 가입하면서 6.25전쟁직후 세계 최빈국으로써 원조를 받는 국가에서 60년만에 국제사회에 원조를 제공하는 공여국으로 성장한 국제사회의 유일무이한 사례이다. 우리 나라의 ODA(Official Development Assistance)는 ICT, 교육 분야 등과 같이 우리나라가 세계적으로 경쟁력을 가지고 있는 분야를 특성화하여 제공하고 있다. 모로코는 2012년까지 9,000여개의 모로코 초중등학교에 ICT를 보급한다는 계획과 ICT 산업 육성을 국가 주요 정책으로 추진하고 있는 있어 금번 프로젝트는 모로코 교사의 ICT 역량 강화를 지원하기 위하여 한국의 ICT 교육시스템을 모로코 초중등 교사에게 제공하는 것이다. 본 프로젝트는 교육쎈터 리모델링, ICT 기자재설치, 교사 커리큘럼 개발, 홈페이지 개발, 정책보고서 발간, 모로코 교사 초청 연수로 구분되어 있으며, 2009년 1월에 시작되어 2010년 11월에 완료된다. 본 프로젝트를 통해 모로코 초중등 교사 23만명중 년간 1,000명을 교육하고, 교육을 받은 교사는 소속지역에서 ICT Master Teacher 역할을 담당하게 된다. 본 프로젝트를 통하여 우리나라는 모로코 교육 선진화에 기여하며, 한국 ICT 기자재를 활용함으로써 한국산 H/W, SW 및 교육컨텐츠의 우수성을 모로코와 인근 국가에 홍보하고, 이를 통해 국내 기업의 북아프리카 진출을 간접 지원하였다. 또한, 본 프로젝트를 통하여 모로코를 비롯하여 2000년도부터 년평균 5.3%의 경제성장을 지속하고 있는 아프리카지역에 한국 ICT제품이 진출할 수 있는 방안으로, 국산 e-러닝 개발툴을 영어, 불어와 아랍어 버젼으로 추가 개발하였으며, 모로코 대학과 합작기업을 설립을 추진하고 있다.

Bearing in mind the strategic and pivotal importance of Egypt over the Arab, African, Middle Eastern, Islamic and even global level; this paper aimed to figure out how and why the Egyptian foreign policy has been changed over time; and whether the flourishing of Egyptian-Russian relations represent a shift from West to East; and show how the historical experiences affecting the relations between Egypt and Russia; moreover, explains why Russia supported June $30^{th}$ revolution while it opposed January $25^{th}$ revolution only two years earlier and other Arab Spring revolutions from one side; and why Egypt accepted to further develop its relations with Russia from the other side.
