체감형 게임에서 주의력 측정 변인에 대한 집단 평균 측정 (Measurement of Group Average for the Evaluation of Attention Improvement for a Tangible Game)

  • 한국 초등학생의 10% 이상이 ADHD(Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) 증상군으로 분류된다는 보고가 있다. ADHD와 같이 주의력이 심각하게 부족한 아동들은 주로 약물 치료에 의존하고 있다. 하지만, 약물치료는 여러가지 부작용이 따른다. 그러므로 아동들의 자발적인 참여를 유도하고 주의력을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 아동들이 좋아하는 게임을 이용하여 아동 친화적인 주의력 향상 모델을 따라 3D 체감형-기능성 게임을 개발하였다. 개발한 게임이 아동의 주의력을 향상시키는데 어떠한 효과가 있는지 확인하기 위해서는 주의력 측정 변인에 대해 연령별 변인 평균 및 표준편차를 알아야 한다. 실험을 통해 측정된 집단별 변인 평균은 향후 주의력 향상 효과성 실험 연구에 이용될 수 있다.

네팔 지진 생존자들의 피해경험에 대한 질적 사례연구 -카트만두 텐트촌 아동과 부모, 관계자를 중심으로- (A case study of the survivors of Nepal Earthquake: Focusing on the children and their parents at the Kathmandu massive refugee camp)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 네팔 지진을 경험한 생존자의 피해경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 네팔 카트만두 텐트촌에 거주하고 있는 아동 5명, 부모 5명과 관계자 3명 총 13명으로 개별면담과 시각자료(그림, 사진), 기록물을 활용하여 사례 내 분석과 사례 간 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 '평범한 일상, 소소한 즐거움'(지진 이전의 생활), '생사의 갈림길에서 살아남'(지진 당시 상황), '수수 방관하는 정부, 팔 걷어붙인 외국인들'(지진 이후의 수습과정), '곳곳에 남아 있는 그날의 흔적들'(현재의 생활), '다시 일어설 수 있기를 바람'(미래에 대한 소망)으로 범주화하여 제시하였다. 분석 결과를 토대로 자연재난을 예방하거나 대처하고 생존자들을 지원하기 위해 필요한 정책과 실천적 지침들을 제언하였다.

  • 최근 세계시민교육(이하 GCE)의 필요성이 세계적으로 강조되고 있으나, 아동기 세계시민의식에 영향을 미치는 아동복지시설 종사자 GCE가 국내에서 부족했다. 이에 본 연구는 (1) 국내외 GCE 정책·현황 조사 (2) GCE 전문가 심층 인터뷰 (3) 종사자 설문 조사로 교육 욕구 실제를 분석했다. 정책분석 결과 주로 학교체계에서만 행해진 국내 GCE와 달리 세계적으로는 다양한 방식으로 진행되었다. 심층 인터뷰에서는 국내 GCE 확대의 필요성이 강조되었고, 설문 분석 결과 GCE에 대한 인지-관심-참여 의사에 경로 관계가 유의해 인지·관심 증대가 실천에 효과적으로 나타났다. 이를 근거로 GCE가 아동복지시설 종사자에게 필요한 교육임을 확인하고 AIDA 모델에 입각해 GCE 인지도를 높여야 함을 강조하였으며 GCE 구성 시 활용할 수 있는 지표를 제시하였다.

체성 실행장애 아동을 위한 감각통합 중재가 체성 실행과 작업수행 능력에 미치는 영향: 단일대상연구 (The Effects of the Sensory Integration Intervention for Somatosensory and Occupational Performance Abilities in Children with Somatodyspraxia: Case Study)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 체성 실행장애가 있는 학령기 아동에게 개별 맞춤 감각통합 중재가 체성 실행과 작업수행 능력에 미치는 효과에 대해 알아보고자 한다. 연구방법 : 단일대상연구의 A-B설계를 적용하여 총회기는 11회기로 기초선 3회기와 중재는 8회기로 구성하여 실시하였다. 중재 전후 효과 비교를 위해 수행영역과 수행 요소로 나누어 측정하였으며, 매회기마다 중재 후 목표 활동(배와 위 굴곡 자세, 손수레 걷기, 밸런스 볼에서 우세 발로 서있기)의 목표 달성 척도를 시행하였다. 결과 : 연구에 참여한 아동은 중재 전·후 수행영역과 수행 요소에서 전반적인 향상을 보였으며, 회기별 중재 후 목표 활동 측정 시 목표 달성 척도가 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 : 고유감각, 전정감각, 촉각을 중심으로 구성된 감각통합 중재가 체성 실행장애 아동의 목표 활동 수행 및 또래와의 관계 개선에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

아버지의 역할수행에 관한 탐색적 연구 I : 아버지의 역할참여와 아동의 성역할 지향 (An Exploratory Study of Korean Fathering I : Paternal Involvement and Children's Sex Role Orientation)

  • Little is known about the relationship between fathers and their preadolescent children in Korea or about variations in fathering by SES and sex role orientation. The purpose of this exploratory research was to examine variation in contemporary Korean fathering (e.g., warmth of fathering, frequency of father involvement, and task share of father involvement) and its influence on children's sex role development. One hundred and twenty-nine fathers, mothers, and their 11-13-year-old children completed standardized survey questionnaires addressing their childrearing practices, parental role involvement, spousal support, and sex role orientations. Data were analyzed using MANOVAs, t-test, correlational analyses, and multiple regression analyses. Mothers reported more warmth in parenting than did fathers. Regardless of sex of child middle class fathers reported more warmth than lower class fathers and lower frequency of task share than lower class fathers. Regardless of SES, fathers with working wives reported higher levels of task share of involvement relative to their spouse. Fathers who were more frequently involved with their children tended to receive greater support from their wives for paternal involvement. There were no differences in parenting by sex of child nor was fathering associated with children's sex role orientation. Girls' femininity was related to fathers' masculinity. SES, maternal support, fathers' femininity, parents' education level, and maternal work status had predictive ability for the ecological view that fathering is a dynamic process predicted by personal characteristics as well as contextual factors.

아버지의 양육참여와 아동의 성역할, 정서 반응, 친사회적 행동과의 관계 (Father's Child-Rearing Behaviors, Children's Sex-Role Taking, Children's Emotional Responses and Children's Prosocial Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships and predictor variable between father's child-rearing behaviors and children's sex-role taking, emotional responses and children's prosocial behavior by demographic variables and mother's work status. Subjects were 142 kindergarten children and their mothers in Busan. Three type of measurement were used in this study; (1) Two scales for father's child-rearing behaviors and children's emotional responses, (2) an interview for children's sex-role taking, and (3) amount of candies to share with classmates for children's prosocial behavior. Data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation coefficient, t-test, F-test, multiple regression, Scheffe's post hoc test using the SAS computer program. There were significant correlations between father's child-rearing behaviors and children's sex-role taking, and between father's child-rearing behaviors and children's prosocial behavior. There were significant differences in father's child-rearing behaviors, children's emotional respones, and children prosocial behavior by SES and mother's job. Father's child-rearing behaviors were the most important predictor variables influencing children's sex-role taking and children's prosocial behavior.

아버지의 양육 참여도와 아동의 사회적 능력과의 관계 (The Relationship between Social Competency of the Child and the Child Rearing Involvement of the Father)

  • The purpose of this study was to develop instruments for measuring paternal child rearing involvement. A second purpose was to investigate the relationship between social competency of child and the father's involvement in child rearing. Fathers' child rearing involvement inventories were administered to 513 5th and 6th grade school students to evaluate children's perceived father's rearing involvement. Assessment of the child's social competency by the mother was by the modified Iowa Social Competency Scale. Data were analyzed by factor analysis, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and canonical correlation. The main results were as follows: (1) There were differences in mean scores between variables on father's child rearing involvement. The mean score of 'day-to-day guidance' was higher than such father's involvement variables as 'family activities', 'household affairs', 'home education'. (2) There was a significant correlation between the social competency of children and father's child rearing involvement. In other words, fathers' child rearing involvement showed significant correlations with 'the capability' and 'leadership' of children. (3) The canonical analysis in two variables-the fathers' child rearing involvement (independent variables) and the children's social competency (dependent variables)-showed that the child variables most highly correlated to the independent variables were 'capability' and 'affection toward parents'. This also indicated that the father variables accounted for about 9.4% of the variation in social competency. In conclusion, the father's child rearing involvement can he recognized as significant variable in predicting the social competency of children.

부모 놀이참여와 유아의 친화적 놀이주도성이 유아의 실행기능에 미치는 영향: 유아 놀이몰입의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Influence of Parent's Play Participation and Children's Friendly Play Initiative on Children's Executive Function: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Children's Play Flow)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether parent's play participation and children's friendly play initiative affect children's executive function through children's play flow. Methods: The survey was conducted on 376 children between the age of 3 and 5 their parents in Daegu city and Gyeonsang province. Data were collected through the questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis with SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. Results: The major results were as follows. First, There were significant differences in parent's play participation, children's friendly play initiative, children's play flow, and executive function according to the children's age and family income. Second, parent's play participation and children's friendly play initiative indirectly affected children's executive function through children's play flow. Conclusion/Implications: This study highlights how children's play affects executive function. Also, the findings of this study will contribute to designing various programs that can promote parent's play participation, children's friendly play initiative, and play flow, which affects the children's executive function.

평가인증에 참여한 보육시설 종사자들의 경험을 통해 본 보육시설 평가인증제도의 효과 (Effects of the Child Care Accreditation System : Successful Experiences of Participants)

  • This study analyzed the influences of child care accreditation system on the participants' successful experiences. Analysis of 20 protocols made by the participants showed three dimensions of effects (1) reinforcement of their speciality within the field of childcare, (2) psychological satisfaction; e.g. self-confidence and self-fulfillment, and (3) positive perspectives on child care accreditation. Conclusions were that child care accreditation is an effective system as long as it helps the participants achieve successful experiences. These data will be useful for understanding and publicity of the recently established child care accreditation system. Future research on this subject is needed not only to activate childcare study but also to contribute towards acceptance of the new system.

또래 관계 (Peer Relations)

  • The main body of research literature on peer relations has focused on its effects on children's psychosocial and emotional development from preschool period to adolescence. Topics of the research generally consist of peer acceptance/rejection, friendships, and peer victimization. In the review of domestic and international research conducted since late 1990, research trends and issues are described in this paper. Findings suggest some measures in interventions, prevention, and policies in promoting positive peer relations. Some social skill trainings are needed for children to react appropriately in peer relations and get along with their peers. In addition, there is a need for differentiation of the intervention programs by participants' roles in bullying situations and gender of children. Moreover, a longitudinal research is required to enhance the understanding of developmental changes in peer relations.
