아동 주거빈곤 정책 마련을 위한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Children for Poverty Housing)

  • 정부는 주거안정과 주거수준이 향상 되었다는 평가아래 2015년 주거기본법 수립과 함께 주택정책의 목적을 '주택공급'에서 '주거복지'로 전환하였다. 그러나 부담 가능한(affordable) 주택이 점차 감소하면서 주거환경은 더욱 열악해 지고 있다. 주거환경은 아동이 안전하고, 건강하고, 교육을 잘 받을 수 있는 기본 요소이다. 본 연구는 문헌연구를 통해 열악한 주거환경이 아동에게 미치는 영향과 국내 아동의 주거빈곤 현황을 파악하였으며 국내외 아동의 주거정책 현황을 탐색하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 아동기의 열악한 주거환경은 신체건강, 정신건강 및 학업성취와 인지발달에 부정적 영향을 미친다. 둘째, 129만 명(11.9%)의 아동이 최저주거기준 이하의 주거빈곤 상태에서 거주하고 있으며 특정 지역에 집중되어 있다. 셋째, 국내 아동 주거정책은 거의 부재하며 노인, 청년에 집중되어 있다. 이와 같은 연구결과를 바탕으로 정책적 제안으로는 유엔아동권리협약에 준수한 아동 주거정책 수립, 증거기반을 토대로 한 주거정책 시행, 중앙정부 책임 하 주거정책을 제안하였고, 실천적 제안으로는 지역사회가 주체가 되어 활동하는 아동 주거빈곤 예방활동, 아동 옹호적 관점에서 관계기관들이 연대하여 관련법, 정책, 공약 등을 분석하고 이슈화 하는 방안을 논의하였다.

아동친화적인 지역사회에 대한 부모와 아동관계자의 인식 비교 - A기초자치단체를 중심으로- (A Comparison of Assessment of Child Friendly Cities by Parents and Child Service Providers in Selected Local Government)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 한 지역사회를 중심으로 부모와 아동관계자의 아동권리보장실태에 대한 인식을 살펴보고 아동친화도시를 구성하기 위한 방안을 모색하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 서울시의 한 기초자치단체에서 실시된 조사데이터를 활용하여 놀이, 지역사회 참여, 보건 및 사회서비스, 안전, 교육환경, 주거 부분에서의 인식차이를 확인하였다. 분석 결과, 6개 영역중 교육환경과 주거환경이 상대적으로 잘 보장되고, 지역사회참여는 덜 보장되고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 아동관계자들은 아동친화적 지역사회를 구성하기 위한 물리적 환경에 있어 더 부정적이었고, 부모는 참여권과 같은 제도적/문화적 환경에 더 부정적인 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구는 다음과 같이 제안했다: 첫째, 아동친화도시를 구성하기 위한 기준 중 물리적 환경은 아동관계자의 기준을 참조하고, 제도문화적 환경은 부모의 기준을 참조해야 한다. 둘째, 지역사회 의사결정구조에 아동, 부모, 아동관계자의 참여를 확대해야 한다.

환경행태학적 관점에서 본 아동실 환경특성 평가 (The Characteristics of Children's Room on the basis of Environmental behavior approach)

  • Children in elementary school spend most of their time in their rooms in the housing environment. Children need to be provided with a new children's room environment that fits to their growth and development. Thus, the purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room. The samples are 633 children in their fourth or higher year grades. The results were analyzed using frequency, percentage, 1-test and F-test. For the research, used also were a developed measurement instrument in this study for environmental characteristics of children's room. The characteristics of children's room environment were categorized into ten items; convenience accessibility, order, ability to express, originality, safety, comfortability, privacy, territoriality, and social interaction. Children's rooms are designed to provide convenience and accessibility to children, but do not provide the creativity in them.

아동실의 물리적인 환경이 아동인성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Physical Environment of Childroom on Children's Personality)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room, and determine the relationship between children's room environment and their personality. The finding showed that environmental characteristics of children's room has relationship with children's personality. Such environmental characteristics as convenience, order, originality, safety, and territoriality had a direct and high relationship with children's personality, while such environmental characteristics as accessibility, ability to express, comfortability, privacy, and social interaction had indirect relationship with children's personality through three intervening variables. The finding further said that achievement motivation and reflectiveness of children's personality were the most influenced by children's room environmental characteristics. The environmental characteristics that are the most influential to children's personality were found to be order.

실무자 인터뷰를 통한 청주시 아동 그룹홈의 주거 개선 요구 조사 (Assessment of Needs for Housing Improvement of Children Group Homes in Cheongju through Interviews with Group Home Directors and Staffs)

  • The purpose of this study was to assess needs for housing improvement of children group homes in Cheongju-si through interviews with the group home directors and staffs. From April 6, 2018, to April 25, 2018, a series of face-to-face interviews with four directors and three staffs working in four children group homes was conducted. The results were analyzed using thematic analysis technique. Highlights of major findings and implications were as follow: (1) Bedroom: Needs for independent bedrooms and desks for each child were dominant. (2) Common activity space: Interviewees showed somewhat different opinions on common activity spaces according to group home types and/or between directors and staffs. (3) Between "a big and good-quality house" and "a house in good location", interviewees were found to prefer "a big and good-quality house" in order for children to have enough space to run and play. (4) Interviewees insisted that to provide proper group home services and protection similar to a real family, current policy to accommodate up to eight children in one group home should be improved.

  • The purpose of this research is to find out environmental characteristics of elementary school children's room, and determine the relationship between children's room environment and their emotional characteristics. For the research, used were a developed measurement instrument for environmental characteristics of children's room as well as the emotion measurement instrument published by Korean Testing Co. and developed by Dr. Lee Jong-seung for elementary school children in their higher year grades. The results showed that environmental characteristics of children's room has relationship with children's emotional characteristics. The order of environmental characteristics had a direct and high relationship with children's emotional characteristics, while originality had indirect relationship with children's emotional characteristics through intervening variables. The human relationship of children's emotional characteristics was the most influenced by children's room environmental characteristics.

인지도(Cognitive Map)를 활용한 아동의 주거환경 인지 특성 분석 (An Analysis of the Cognitive Characteristics of Child Residential Environment Using Cognitive Map)

  • It is very necessary to know about child recognition of residential environment to plan and design an environment proper for children's growth and development. The research method using Cognitive Map, which may be defined as "an overall mental image of representation of the space and layout of a setting" can be a good tool for studying child recognition of residential environment. This study analyzed the child recognition of the size of home range, the number of residential environment elements, the types of Cognitive Map and the levels of Cognitive Map to understand the contents of child recognition about their residential environment. Subjects were 206 children in age6, 8 and 10 in Gwanju and Jeonnam area. As the result of the study, we found that 70% of child recognized 100~500 M as the size of home range, and that the number of the elements of residential environment was 7, average. And we also found that sequential map was more popular than spatial map in child's Cognitive Map type and that almost 60% of child respondents drew the Cognitive Map of level 1 complexity type. As the result of this study, we could know that the research method using Cognitive Map was very useful for understanding the child recognition of residential environment.

주거환경과 학령기 아동 인성간의 상관성 연구 (Relationship between Housing Environment and Elementary School Children's Personality)

  • The purpose of this research is to find out the relationship between housing environment and elementary school children's personality. The samples of this research are 459 children from elementary schools in their fourth or higher year grades. The results were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and t-test, F-test and multi regression. The findings indicated that housing type does not have effect on environmental characteristics of children's room, while housing ownership type, housing size and children's room size have significant effects on them. Housing size and children's room size have significant effects on children's satisfaction. The larger children room provides higher satisfaction with children room environment. The finding showed that environmental characteristics of children's room have relationship with children's personality. The order of environmental characteristics of children's room has the highest relationship with children's personality.

유니버설디자인에 기반한 아동양육시설의 환경디자인 사례 연구 (A Study on the Living Environment Design of Orphanage based on Universal Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the living environment design of orphanage based on universal design. The 3 orphanages which were rebuilded recently was selected and evaluated by checklists. The checklists which are based on 'Universal Design Principles' are consist of 120 items. The major results are summarized as follows: 1) The items related to safety were insufficient such as separation of pedestrian passage, rounded edge. 2) The items related to accessibility were high grade such as width of corridor, curb height. 3) Private zones for sleep, study and storage are needed more and living room is needed more furnitures for activities to increase friendship in the family of orphanage. The results will be expected to make contributions to developing orphanage environment design based on universal design, to understanding the nature of universal design paradigm.
