Driving State of the stroke patients after Cognitive Perceptual Assessment for Driving evaluation at the National Rehabilitation Center (국립재활원에서 운전인지평가를 받은 뇌졸중 환자의 운전 실태조사)

  • Objective : To investigate the actual driving state of the stroke patients who had assessed CPAD. Methods : We conducted a follow-up survey with 48 stroke patients who had assessed CPAD. First, we reviewed the medical chart and then carried out the telephone survey. Results : Of the 48 subjects, 12 were driving and 36 were not driving. Current drivers' CPAD score, it was 54.13, was higher than non-drivers' CPAD score(p<0.05). Those who passed the CPAD were driving more than who failed(OR=8.3, 95%CI=1.931-35.558). Conclusion : The pass group of CPAD have higher chance of driving than fail group and have lower chance of car accidence than fail group. Thus we can apply the CPAD for driving cognitive evaluation tests.

  • 안전관리는 건설사업의 시공과정 중에 발생 가능한 유해, 위험으로부터 인명을 보호하는 것이며, 건설사업의 주제는 발주자로서 발주자 역할의 극대화는 효과적인 건설재해 방지의 관건이다. 건설프로젝트의 발주자, 설계자, 감리자, 시공자, 협력업자 등 다수 참여자의 장기간에 걸친 공동작업으로 이루어지는 건설공사의 특성을 고려할 때, 기존의 건설안전관리체제로는 건설공사에 수반되는 이와 다양한 유형의 사고를 방지하기 위한 근본적인 처방으로는 미흡하며, 건설산업의 총체적인 안전수준의 향상을 통한 시설품의 생애주기 전반에 걸쳐 안전성을 확보할 수 있는 근원적인 안전관리제도의 구축이 요구되고 있다. 실태조사 결과 공공발주자와 민간발주자의 안전의식 및 안전관리실태에는 격차가 크며, 대다수 발주자의 안전관리에 대한 책임의식이 미흡하며, 민간발주자의 경우가 훨씬 열악한 것으로 나타났다. 정부 감독기관의 발주자에 대한 안전책임 부여도 소극적이다. 발주자 안전관리가 미흡한 원인과 이의 촉진 방안에 대한 도출이 필요하다. 발주자에 대한 접근 방법의 홍보를 통한 책임의식의 고취, 발주자를 위한 안전관리매뉴얼 등 안전관리 도구의 제공, 법령을 동한 명확한 책임의 부여, 발주자가 책임을 이행할 수 있는 자질있는 안전전문가의 활용이 긴요한 것으로 사료된다.

Spousal Abuse and Social Class in Korean National Family Violence Survey (한국 가정폭력 실태와 사회계층 변인과의 관계 연구)

  • Although there is a little concern about wife beating, the problem is in very serious level in Korean families. The purposes of this study are (l)to estimate the incidence of spousal abuse in Korean families; (2)to examine the influences of social class factors on spousal abuse. The results show that almost lout of 3 husbands in Korean families carried out 1 or more physical violence acts against their wives during the last year and that some social class factors have statistically significant relationship with wife abuse in korean families. The study also found that age, education, and job status are significantly related with minor husband-ta-wife violence and that job status, blue collar husband, is significantly associated with severe husband-ta-wife violence. However, except for job status, no other social factors are associated with severe husband-to-wife violence.

  • 우리나라의 폐기물 관리실태 및 문제점을 살펴보면 97년 생활폐기물 발생량은 1인 하루 1.05kg으로 주요 선진국들과 비슷하게 나타났으나 처리체계가 실타래처럼 엉켜 노력보다는 임기응변식으로 또 정량적 판단 보다는 감성적 방향으로 처리되고 있다. 정부에서는 발생원 감량ㆍ재활용 등 캠페인 및 경제적 규제정도의 소극적 대책만을 내세워 큰 효과를 보지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 폐기물 처리 및 사전대책을 위한 낙후된 청정기술을 높이고자 정부에서는 부처별로 환경기초 및 기반기술개발사업을 지원하고 있어 기대를 걸어본다.

Actual Conditions and Perception of Safety Accidents by School Foodservice Employees in Chungbuk (충북지역 학교급식 조리종사원의 안전사고 실태 및 인식)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine safety accidents related to school foodservice, working and operating environments of school foodservice, status and awareness of safety education, educational needs, and information on qualitative improvement of school foodservice. The subjects in this study were 234 cooks in charge of cooking at elementary and secondary schools in Chungbuk. A survey was conducted from July 30 to August 8, 2012, and among 202 questionnaires gathered, 194 completed questionnaires were analyzed. Statistical analyses were performed on data utilizing the SPSS version 19.0. The main results of this study were as follows: 44.3% of workers experienced safety accidents. The most frequent safety accident was 'once' (60.5%), and most safety accidents took place between June and August (31.4%). The time at which most safety accidents happened was between 8 and 11 am. Most safety accidents happened during cooking (52.3%) and while using a soup pot or frying pot (52.4%). The most common accidents were 'burns', 'wrist and arm pain', and 'slips and falls'. Respondents who experienced safety accidents replied that 57.6% of employees dealt with injuries at their own expense, and only 35.3% utilized industrial accident insurance. In terms of the operating environment, the score for 'offering information and application' was highest (3.76 points), whereas that for 'security of budget' was lowest (1.77 points). As for accident education, employees received safety education approximately 3.45 times and 5.10 hours per year. Improving the working environment of school foodservice cooks requires administrative and financial support. Furthermore, educational materials and guidelines based on the working environment and safety accident status of school foodservice cooks are required in order to minimize potential risk factors and control safety accidents in school foodservice.

자율운항선박의 정박지 내 항행 지원을 위한 운항 패턴 및 규정에 관한 기초 연구

  • 본 연구는 울산항 인근 정박지 내 선박의 운항 패턴을 파악하고, 관련 법규 및 준수 실태를 대조하여 자율운항선박의 실제 운항 시에 부차적인 운항 수칙을 수립하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 일반적으로 항행하는 선박의 해양사고 중 높은 비중을 차지하는 조우 상황에서의 운항 규칙과 관련된 법률이 정박지 내에도 적용되고 있다. 이러한 관점에서 관련 법규들을 토대로, 실제 정박지에서 항행하는 선박들의 운항 패턴들을 관측하였으며, 대부분 정박지 내에서 출항하는 선박들은 항로의 우측에 근접하여 운항하는 양상을 보이며 우측 항행을 준수하고 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 정박지 및 항내에서 충돌과 같은 예치기 못한 사고가 발생하는 대표적인 운항 패턴들은 정면 조우 상황, 방파제 내 출항 선박 회피, 우측 항행 등으로 분류되며, 정면 조우 상황과 방파제 출항 선박 회피의 경우에는 관련 법규를 준수하며 항행하는 것을 확인하였으나, 우측 항행 상황에서는 조우 상황에 따라 부득이하게 이행할 수 없는 경우가 발생함을 확인하였다. 본 기초 연구를 통하여 정박지 및 항내에서의 항행하는 선박의 운항 패턴을 자율운항선박에 적용 가능성을 타진하고, 항해 지원이 가능한 운항 수칙을 새로 정립하는 데 활용하고자 한다.

A Case Study for Analysis on Present Condition and Cause of Indoor Noise in University Cafeteria (대학교 학생식당의 실내소음 실태 및 원인 분석 사례연구)

  • This is a case study for improving the sound environmental quality of cafeteria in university campus. The purpose of the study is to find out the present condition of physical level, type, and cause of indoor noise of cafeteria in university campus by comparison with a restaurant near campus. Research methods were field survey and questionnaire survey. Field survey was consisted of measurement on equivalent and instant noise level and observation on noise type. Respondents of questionnaire survey were 60 students using subject cafeteria or restaurant. Surveys were carried out in the 8th and in the 14th of December 2005. The results are as follows. 1) Indoor noise levels of the cafeteria were measured as $67.2{\sim}76.6$ (average 73.3) dB(A)Leq5min and $60.3{\sim}90.5$ (average 71.2) dB (A), exceeded the indoor noise recommended value of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers). But noise levels of the restaurant were $61.6{\sim}70.4$ (average 66.9) dB(A)Leq5min and $59.8{\sim}70.6$ (average 64.9) dB(A). 2) The users's responses on major noise type in the cafeteria were 'noise by handling equipment and tableware', 'noise by moving chairs', and 'talcing noise', but 'taking noise' and 'background music' in the restaurant. 3) It was found that indoor noise level of the cafeteria was caused by sound reflection of finishing materials, noise diffusion by open type kitchen, and dragging noise of movable furniture.

  • This study derives the suggestions for promotion of internationalization of universities. The reasons for increase in number of international students were analyzed and present condition of international students has been investigated. Research and analysis of International students support program of government was performed. Moreover, the questionnaire was Prepared based on literature review of national and international policies for the support on international students and the survey was conducted on international students studying in engineering programs at graduate level. Finally, suggestions for government, university and education institutions have been made for the improvement of international student support programs to promote internationalization of universities.

  • This study examined the actual condition of the cultural welfare system for the disabled. The survey was completed by 21 public and private museums at a cultural welfare center in Gangwon-do, Yongwol-gun, specialized for museums only between 1 June and 31 July 2014. The study scale questions were analyzed by field surveys in cultural welfare centers and interviewing the museum directors. The results were as follows. First, there were cultural welfare service effects on the controlling culture, art and leisure activities for the disabled. Second, cultural enjoyment improved the quality of life and life satisfaction of the disabled. This study provides a database to improve policy regarding environmental construction, various program developments, visiting performance system development, and supplement and financial support for the disabled audience as a member of society.

Analysis of User Behavior for the Revitalization of Small Parks near Stations by the Location Types in Influential Subway Area (역세권내 역 인접 소공원의 유형별 이용행태분석을 통한 활성화 방안 연구)

  • The government is planning to link a small park with the soon to be ready subway line 9 as a part of Seoul's policy, "The standard or plan for making a water-friendly space by water use" (2007). However, the specified concepts and instructions of the small parks need further work. Therefore, the policy is expected to expand to neighboring small parks near the subway station, but these are not supported by research or data which suggests the needs or actual user behavior and utilization of small parks. our country added the specified concept of small parks and theme parks to the classification of urban parks in the Urban Park Act Revision (2005.3.31), but the concept of small parks is not clearly settled in the law in the scopes of its function, scale, promotion nor particularly defined plans for small park projects. This study examines as small park near a subway station. The characteristics of there region and users vary from the characteristics of the station and region. In the "directions for concrete standards under the types of urban parks and green zones" (2007.2) the types of small parks are classified by "regional characteristics" and "user characteristics". Therefore, this study classifies the subject of neighboring small parks near subway stations as the neighborhood and small urban parks according to the Urban Park Act. The study was paralleled with observation and questionnaires on the analysis of the neighborhood and small urban parks. The actual conditions of park utilization and user behavioral characteristics were deducted by observation, while the questionnaire determined actual user utilization, importance and satisfaction level as well as the small park environment. This study largely focused on three aspects: park facility, design of this sentence isn't even complete. The second aspect isn't finished and the third isn't here.
