연구여적 - 행방불명된 국산 1호 비행기

  • 국산 1호 비행기 "부활호"는 46년 전 휴전협정에 막바지로 접어들 때 당시 필자가 출강하던 서울공대 항공공학과 학생들의 참여로 탄생했다. 그러나 이 "부활호"는 필자가 11개월의 미국 유학을 마치고 돌아와보니 행방불명이 되었는데 나중에 알아보니 미 공군 군사고문단에서 시험평가를 하기 위해 미국 본토로 가져갔다는 것이다. 우리 손으로 만든 국산1호 비행기가 그 실체는 없어졌지만 다행히 최근에 공군에서 실물대로 복원, 공군사관학교 박물관에 전시하고 있다.

A Study on the Improvement of Weapon System T&E performance System (국방 무기체계 시험평가 수행체계 개선방안 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive the need to improve the test and evaluation(T&E) performance system of the weapon systems to which advanced science and technology is applied, evaluate priorities, and present development plans. T&E of Al-based weapon systems through a literature research and case analysis on changes in the T&E environment for weapon system, 11 detailed evaluation items were derived from the in terms of the T&E system, structure, and technology. Al-based weapon system test evaluation should be performed in parallel with data-based performance evaluation and actual T&E, and performance measurement using a separate T&E data set is required for AI models performance evaluation. As a result of analyzing the importance of T&E through AHP analysis, the order of T&E system-technology-structure was evaluated, and the priority of detailed evaluation items was evaluated in the order of T&E result judgment-T&E organization and expert training-scientific T&E. For evaluation items with high priority, measures to improve the T&E performance system were presented.

Effect of Injector Number on Combustion Characteristics of Full-scale Gas Generators (분사기 수에 따른 실물형 가스발생기 연소특성)

  • Combustion characteristics of full-scale gas generators were studied experimentally by changing the injector number installed at the injector head. Three full-scale gas generators were utilized; they have same total mass flow rate but mass flow rates per injector are different. Thirteen, nineteen and thirty seven injectors, which have internal-mixing and double-swirl characteristics, are distributed in injector heads, respectively. The results showed that pressure fluctuations in the gas generators with 13 and 19 injectors didn't occur around longitudinal resonant frequency, however longitudinal-mode pressure fluctuation appeared slightly in the gas generator with 37 injectors. As the number of injectors increased, deviations of temperature distribution in the combustion chamber decreased gradually, but the damage of injector LOx posts became a little severe.

  • Effects of injector or design on combustion characteristics of full-scale gas generators were studied. Three full-scale gas generators, which have same total mass flow rate but mass flow rate per injector is different depending on their designs, were manufactured. Thirteen, nineteen and thirty seven injectors, which have internal-mixing and double-swirl characteristics, are distributed in injector heads, respectively. The results showed that special pressure fluctuations in the gas generators with 13 and 19 injectors didn't appear around longitudinal resonant frequency, but small longitudinal-mode instability appeared in the gas generator with 37 injectors.   • With the increasing of service robots, human-robot interaction for natural communication between user and robots is becoming more and more important. Especially, face recognition is a key issue of HRI. Even though robots mainly use face detection and recognition to provide various services, it is still difficult to guarantee of performance due to insufficient test methods in real service environment. Now, face recognition performance of most robots is evaluation for engine without consideration for robots. In this paper, we show validity of test method using LED monitor through performance comparison of real images with from images LED monitor.

Lateral Earth Pressures and Displacements through Full Scaled Lateral Loading Test of Concrete Electric Pole Embedded in Ground (지중에 근입된 콘크리트전주의 실물 수평재하실험에 의한 수평토압과 변위특성)

  • Many electric poles in the softground have been collapsed due to external load. In this study, 10 types of tests were performed with variation of location, numbers and depths of anchor blocks as well as depth of poles to find horizontal earth pressure through full scale pull-out tests. The horizontal earth pressure increased with embedded depth of electric pole, and earth pressure of lower passive zone decreased. The deeper of anchor block, earth pressure of passive zone becomes less. lateral displacements showed differences depending on location, numbers and depth of poles. The bending is generated in the upper part at the initial load, but it moved to central part as load increased. The maximum horizontal displacement decreased to 1/1.6 at -0.5m depth of anchor block and 1.3m additional laying depth of poles into ground.

Trouble Shooting for Fully Automatic Flight Test of Small Scaled Tiltrotor UAV (축소형 틸트로터 무인기의 전자동 비행시험을 위한 문제해결과정)

  • The ground integration test of Smart UAV has been performed according to the flight test plan. The flight test of full scaled model will be performed followed by 4 DOF ground rig test and a tethered hover test. Smart UAV is the first indigenous tiltrotor aircraft which can fly with fast cruise speed and take off or land vertically. In order to prove the flight control law of Smart UAV, the 40% scaled airplane was developed and have been tested. During flight test of small scaled model, many unique and unexpected problems occurred. After clearing these problems, fully automatic flight test was performed successfully. The experiences about many trouble shooting and resolving the problems would be basic material to avoid the unexpected but similar flight test problems hidden behind of the full scaled Smart UAV. This paper presents the detailed procedures of trouble shootings to solve the unique problems which occurred during the flight test of small scaled tiltrotor UAV.

  • Train runs on high speed and the concrete track is constructed. Rail fastening device needs to reduce elasticity, transferred load, noise, and vibration etc. Consequently, low elastic pad has a great impact of the durability and stability of the track. In this study, discussed in previous studies, static numerical analysis and real scale repeated loading test, followed by dynamic response analysis were implemented. The most distinctive characteristics of the model proposed is to simulate the real wheel behavior on rail. And the main analysis object is to evaluate and compare the deformation characteristics of the transition track while load reduction effect of transfer on roadbed assessed by various low elastic pad.

  • This paper is for the combustion characteristics of gas generator which drive 1.5MW-class turbo pump and runs in fuel-rich combustion regime with LOx/kerosene as propellant. The outline of development procedure of real scale high pressure gas generator is introduced and the relation between O/F ratio and outlet temperature and the molecular weight and specific heat ratio of combustion gas are described. The relation between O/F ratio and temperature is newly obtained at higher pressure and the molecular weight and specific heat ratio is modified and their validity is confirmed by the mass relation equation.
