These days, hospitals in Korea have great interests in healthcare accreditation. The criteria of this accreditation has been established by management, but development of the management system without facility improvement has limits. Therefore this study reclassified domestic and foreign healthcare accreditation focusing on facilities and has purpose on proposing facility elements that can be adopted in hospitals. Also, the study is relevant to the study on architecture planning of hospital according to 'Patient safety' which will be suggested in the future and has significance for establishing basis of healthcare facility planning and for improving the existing facilities. The study selected facility lists from 'healthcare accreditation' and reclassified them based on departments in the hospital. Using these lists, the study divided the hospital that has obtained 'healthcare accreditation' into departments and investigated and analyzed them. On the basis of the analysis, the study suggested facility lists involved in hand washing, waste disposal, equipment washing, quarantine, goods-movement, establishing clean/polluted area, emergency exit-way, and restricted zone.

Korea is a fast growing aging society. Growing older population causes various social issues and problems in many aspects. Housing issue is one of them and residential modifications for improving safety and independence for older residents are very important factor for Aging in Place. Under those social circumstances, the purpose of this study was to analyze the residential modification demand by the elderly on the application of ubiquitous home services. Respondents were the residents those who were over 55 years old, were living in a singe detached house and were able to use a computer. The major findings of this study were as follows: the results on current situations and demands for residential modifications showed that respondents already made mean of 4.9 home modification items and wanted to make mean of 12.4 items out of 21 residential modification items. The results on demands for the ubiquitous home services was relatively high(mean 3.82). This study can be an important information which is able to improve the quality of life by providing effective residential modifications for older population to help them ultimately safe, convenient, and independent living.

The world is changing drastically by digital information technology and ubiquitous networking. Meanwhile, with the demographic avalanche, South Korea officially became an 'ultra-aging society' in 2026. Simultaneously, this demographic change will also stimulate a cultural climate which facilitates the formation and dissemination of 'slow culture' from the existent urban 'fast culture' which has been weakening the retirement living. One of the fundamental connections with the slow movement appears in the cooking and dining area. With this point of view, this study aims to identify the needs and behaviors of the elderly in current restaurants and a digitally planned multi-purpose one for the future. Small group workshop was employed for this study. In order to elicit detailed information from the elderly group members, scenarios were developed. A group facilitator kept the discussion on track by asking a series of open-ended questions meant to stimulate discussion. As the results, it was revealed that the elderly were interested in digitally planned restaurant which provides one-stop service including entertainment activities, health related contents and socializing with family. Even though this study took restaurant scenarios, the ideas in them also provide holistic perspectives on the direction of marketing and planning strategies on various future environments and services.

In terms of cultural history, museum architecture represents culture of society in an era. exhibition space which represents the society and culture can't be fixed in the same way in a current mobile era. Especially, mobility of exhibition can be able to give audience even opportunities to enjoy. As a result, mobile exhibition space that functions as total space for everybody and the study of this issue is necessary. As mobile exhibition space is in the middle of development, there are many things to make up for the weak points. In order to make mobile exhibition space more competitive, development of new form and material is needed most. besides, limited development on interior plans which has been overlooked in terms of mobility is needed. Also, there should be more aggressive and powerful marketing and promotion for mobile exhibition space. To equalize the metropolitan area and local exhibition space and revitalize domestic exhibition space, the utility of mobile exhibition space which is movable and economic is highly expected more than previous fixed exhibition space.

The change of modern society arouse the issue of the family structure and the demand of upbringing. According to the issue, the need of the upbringing is the big interest in society. This study is on the demand of the parents of students in eco-environmental space in child care center. The purpose of the study makes the suggestion the need of the eco-environmental space in child care center. The study progressed with looking up and giving questionaires in six child care centers which have eco-environmental space in Seoul. 210 questionaires were given out to parents and taken away 180 questionaires. The result of the study, parents required strongly to have the eco-environmental space in child care center. The natural interior materials, nature experimental outdoor ground and exterior garden were preferred overriding. The use of the woods and stones and eco-environmental adhesives are required as the natural Interior materials. And the natural light source can be imported in sky light, side window and atrium. Upcoming study would be directed in child care center without eco-environmental spaces. The next suggestion would be made in the needs of the eco-environmental space in child care center.

This study aims to understand functional spaces within university dormitory, examine the influences of residential environment factors and personal characteristics on users' satisfaction through what parameters and probability among these parameters and seek improvement methods for dormitory users to live at dormitory as the best residential space through causal analysis of residential space uses at university dormitory based on such a probability. Research methods include theoretical research of architectural space characteristics of university dormitory facilities through literature survey, analysis of satisfaction with spaces and their uses through questionnaire and causal analysis of each residential environment factor after making route model using data obtained from the results of analysis. The results of this study are as follows. Factors affecting residents' satisfaction with cultural activities of residential environment factors are safety, territoriality, interior finishing and complexity and those affecting residents' educational activities are safety and amenity of space. Residential function space of university dormitory must have spatial planning that social activities including individual and small group culture and educational activities from the view of spatial territoriality and flexibility based on safety and amenity and facilities related to continuity and connection of common space and unit residential space should be decentralized rather than centralized.

The study alms to seek a plan of applying the digital technology to housing for the elderly. The purpose of the study was to grasp the needs of the aged on 30 types of digital systems in housing. The subjects were 120 persons aged of more than 60 years and lived in Busan. Data were collected by the individual interview. The following results were drawn from this study. First, the needs of the aged on the digital systems categorized as safe and security, control of indoor environment, and housework support were very high and should be provided at first. Second, the necessary types of digital systems which should be provided to the digital home for the elderly were digital systems for heating control, health checking, sensing of fire and gas leak, and house cleaning. Also, the basic types of digital systems were ones for invasion and burglarproof, emergency, air cleaning, automatic facet, door locking, and waste collecting. Third, the Income and usage level of digital equipment of the aged influenced to the floods of the aged on the digital system. Therefore, in addition to the necessary and basic types of digital systems mentioned above, the income and usage level of digital equipment should be considered in planning the digital home for the elderly.

This study illustrates a prototype proposal and its evaluation for the development of floor plans in the condominium housing remodeling. For this I evaluated the survey of the residents of the 'K' town in Joonge-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, against the proposal which was developed based on the resident's pre-survey. The result includes that the residents' preference for community actions such as the removal of fences which are reviewed as negative, whereas the introduction of a fitness center and community facilities in the library are reviewed as positive. The residents preferred the open space by the piloti structure, although which is the wall column structure, where they anticipated a rest area, sports facilities, and bicycle drop-off spots. The sidewall proposal in the main building and the full use of the roof floor were underestimated in terms of design concept. The research also illustrated the residents' desired space planning options, those tending to use of space 'B type', personalization 'C type' and spatial size 'A type'. Residents responded positively to the introduction of the 'Alpha' space in which two households share one space that could be used for multiple purposes such as a rest area, an environment-friendly garden, and hobby room, etc, and also there is another possibility it plays an important role to the sociality in community.

The Werkbund housing exhibitions in Europe in the 20's and 30's presented various planning concepts and played a important roll for modernization of housing Architecture. This study, therefore, aims to understand the contemporary issues of housing in this period, which showed the meaningful momentum for housing plans today. In order to grasp the general characteristics of exhibition housing the representative cases -Weissenhofsiedlung, Dammerstock, Breslausiedlung, Werkbund Siedlung in $Z\"{u}rich-Neub\"{u}hl$, Werkbundsiedlung Wien und BaBa- were throught documents analyzed. The architects offered an innovative building typology such as row housing and new prototype of housing units accordingly social needs. Especially, In this study housing unitplans were in 6 groups such as flexible type, cabin type, free open plan, Raumplan, functional 2-story type and corridor type categorized. And they were analyzed how deeply technological development, architectural design perceptions as well as functional aspects had on the planning of floorplans reflected. As a result, in the housing exhibitions various architectural ideas presented the "Zeitgeist" not only such as improvement of physical environment of housing, but also such as rationalization, standardization, functionalization, normalization of housing architecture. Also their unitplans corresponded to newly developed building typology and modern household type. As well as they represented notable spatial concepts. Moreover it contributed to create a new paradigm of housing for the new epoch.

여성들의 사회적 역할이 확대되고 지위가 상승하고 있으나 기존의 공간은 아직도 여성들의 주요 활동 공간이 제한된 범위에 머물러 있다는 인식 안에 있다. 본 연구는 여성과 공간에 대한 선행 연구 분석과 토론을 통해 기존의 여성 공간 연구를 검토하고 앞으로의 연구의 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 연구방법으로 선행 문헌을 키워드, 게재연도, 연구대상지, 연구목적, 연구방법, 학회지 분야의 유목별로 분류하여 분석하였다. 아울러, 초점집단면접(focus group interview)을 실시해 기존 공간의 문제점을 제시하고 새로운 연구의 방향을 모색하였다. 키워드의 네트워크 분석 결과, '여성전문병원', 'CPTED(crime prevention through environmental design', '여성친화도시', '여성성'이 연결 중심성이 높게 나타났다. 아울러 그동안의 여성 공간에 대한 연구는 절대적으로 부족한 실정이나, 최근 연구 공간의 범위가 다양해지고 있으며, '도시'적 관점에서 여성 공간에 접근하는 거시적이고 입체적 연구가 활발해지고 있다. 마지막으로 여성 공간에 대한 초점집단면접을 통해, 여성의 니즈에 대한 심층적 연구를 통한 '여성성'과 '출산·양육'을 고려한 공간 연구와 '양성 평등 공간' 및 '안전한 공간'에 대한 연구가 요구되었다.
