This research suggests a novel visualization approach utilizing Generative AI to render photorealistic architectural alternatives images in the early design phase. Photorealistic rendering intuitively describes alternatives and facilitates clear communication between stakeholders. Nevertheless, the conventional rendering process, utilizing 3D modelling and rendering engines, demands sophisticate model and processing time. In this context, the paper suggests a rendering approach employing the text-to-image method aimed at generating a broader range of intuitive and relevant reference images. Additionally, it employs an Text-to-Image method focused on producing a diverse array of alternatives reflecting architects' styles when visualizing the exteriors of residential buildings from the mass model images. To achieve this, fine-tuning for architects' styles was conducted using the Low-Rank Adaptation (LoRA) method. This approach, supported by fine-tuned models, allows not only single style-applied alternatives, but also the fusion of two or more styles to generate new alternatives. Using the proposed approach, we generated more than 15,000 meaningful images, with each image taking only about 5 seconds to produce. This demonstrates that the Generative AI-based visualization approach significantly reduces the labour and time required in conventional visualization processes, holding significant potential for transforming abstract ideas into tangible images, even in the early stages of design.

The purpose of this study is to draw out the features of expressions about Nature in Korean interior design, because the Nature has been being very important theme in the interior space. So, the 68 cases of domestic famous interior designers' works during last ten years were selected from authorized design magazines like as INTERIORS, MARU and so on. And next, the cases were analysed in according to interior image style, design elements used for effect of Nature and the direction of expression(directly or indirectly), As the results, composite expressions with a few elements were found in modern, hi-tech, elegant, minimal and casual styles, while direct expressions with many elements were found in natural and ethnic styles. And main elements for effect of Nature were trees and stones. Among many elements, water and stones became more important elements after 2000 than before. In the meantime the use of composite expressions was being increased and so appeared even in natural and ethnic styles.

The main consumers of wedding market are young people. They prefer differentiated and unique wedding and with the deregulation of using five-star hotels as wedding spaces in 1999, the wedding market has entered into an era of new competition. Under the background like above, this study tries to provide the basis for the effective and systematic interior coordination of wedding spaces. For this study, large banquet halls at 16 five-star hotels in Seoul were selected. Theoretical and field examinations, and interviews were conducted. The elements of wedding space include the architectural elements of floor, walls, and ceiling and lighting, color, fabric, table setting, and flower coordination. This study found that uniformity or repetition is used for the walls while modules are used for the ceiling. Unlike the past, LED is used for lighting to create diverse colors and the range of colors used has been broadened. In addition, fabric, table setting, and flowers are used actively to create overall atmosphere of the space. When these elements are aggregated and analyzed by hotel for interior design style, Hotels H and S have modern style, Hotels L and P have elegant style and Hotel IP have classical style.

Housing for the elderly should be planned on the base of elder's needs and preferences as well as their physical, emotional, and socio-psychological characteristics. This study examined the interior style of bedroom and living room the elderly preferred and these preferences are significantly different depending on their characteristics and cognitive ages, or not. This study was carried out by face to face interview with a questionnaire and 6 colored printed 3D images. The subjects were 202 old aged who lives in Busan. The interior style of bedroom and living room were classified into 3 styles; Korean traditional style, Western classical style, and modern style. The subjects made a choice their preferred interior style among three 3D images per each room and answered the reasons. Also, they answered their cognitive ages and general characteristics, and their preferences for the layout of living room-dining room-kitchen, use pattern, floor finishes, and furniture of bedroom and living room. The results were as follows; 1) The subjects preferred bed in bedroom and sofa in living room. Also, they wanted to finish the floor of bedroom and living room by using synthetic material, traditional floor paper, and wood. 2) The elderly preferred Western classical style of bedroom. The reasons were general mood such as warm, comfort, or bright, and the color. 3) These preferred styles were not any significant differences according to their characteristics and cognitive ages. 4) They preferred Korean traditional style, Western classical style, and modern style, in order. They preferred them for their general mood and window. 5) Their preferred styles were significantly different according to their housing types and cognitive ages.

Despite rapid social changes, there have been little distinctive or fast shifts in living space, and the kind of housing design that could address the diverse need of residents is required. In the future, complex trend that is built on a mix and match of different sorts of styles is expected to be in vogue. The introduction of natural elements and ornamental factors such as books, antiques and art works into living spaces that are artificial things is expected to contribute to helping people lead a richer and Individual life. This study attempted to present a housing design by instilling culture in an existing living space and making it fit into a new lifestyle. After the position of natural and ornamental components was fixed, a contemporary modern living space was designed, for which art works would become necessary and sufficient conditions. A plane figure of the new living space was offered, and then detailed design for each part was provided. Finally, a finalized design pattern that was suitable for the selected concept was presented.

Recently, the proportion of single-person households is on the increase in Korea, expected to reach 34.6% in 2035. Among the single-person households, Young single family households are facing greater difficulties due to high house prices in Korea. The government is expanding its support to Young single family, executing various policies such as public lease housings, private lease housings for youth, youth dormitory, etc. The purpose of this study is to understand the exact housing requirement of Young single family households who have different lifestyles with other age groups and provide base line data for youth house planning which will be in use later on. Study methods are shown below. First, this research studied the status and characteristics of Young single family households by looking into literature. Second, by studying previous studies concerned with life style and housing preferences of youth, the tool for investigating preferences and needs of housing environment by Young single family households was composed. Third, survey on characterstics of space usage, preferences and needs on flat composition, and preferences of interior design were conducted based on lifestyle of Young single family-households. The survey was conducted as an online survey using SNS for 150 Young single family holds from the age of 20 and 39, including students and office workers from December 2018 to January 2019. The results are as following. (1) Looking into the space usage characteristics, considering that various activities other than basic functions take place in bedroom and living room of small-sized Young single family households, we need to consider this additionally when planning the housing. (2) Looking into the preferences and composite needs of flat composition, the subjects demand separate bed room and more living room space, and also demand expansion of living room space where various activities take place and additional storage such as dress room in bed room (3) The preferences toward interior design show preferences toward modern style and achromatic color, a representative color. The subjects also prefer floor finishing materials normally used for living spaces, and indirect, soft lighting that uses wall. Also, there are differences between interior design preferences between students (20's) and office workers(30's) due to their different lifestyles. Research is needed to propose practical residential environment requirements and plans through a case study of actual public rental housing and a wider range of users.

Analysis of trend by various information is systematically approached by strategy differentiating in Interior Design. At the present, trend is approached by intuitive viewpoint without systematic strategy and analysis system about interior coordination activity. And, it is not still established specific systematic architecture of the interior coordination by logical and academical approach. This Study set the goal at overall understanding about the Trend that shifting fast and offering objective data. Therefore, I approached the semiology-oriented process as the most suitable academical system on analysis of interior coordination trend. Object target of analysis was investigated to three domestic and overseas exhibitions announced from 2007 to 2008. These analysis was based on the context and text from the life style and the major determinant theme of the age of each exhibition. Also, it was arranged color, material and texture by the related expression system with topics and theme keywords. And it'll be considered as utilizing the code of specific application in interior coordination which is from the investigating about exhibition. Therefore, this study will be expected to help in meaning transmission and methodology establishment by more beneficial objective system, when designer work the interior coordination practically through the establishment of systematic viewpoint about interior coordination.

Domestic distribution environment in Korea has rapidly and qualitatively been developed due to the open of distribution market. However, the function of commercial establishment goes beyond the place value that simple transaction of capacity takes place, and it is recognized as life groove space enhancing the satisfaction of costumers' purchasing pattern. For this reason, there has been the need to change the purchasing environment of commercial space. The change factors of commercial space contributed to the establishment of consumption identity formed by change of consumers' lifestyle and the purchasing pattern. It is necessary to see the change factors of the purchasing pattern as the conversion of distribution environment in terms of supplier and as the change of consumers' lifestyle in terms of consumers. In reality, however, the commercial facility ill-imitated the advanced model and qualitatively was developed. In this situation, the change of the purchasing pattern according to the conversion of facility is needed as an early stage. The purpose of this study is to analyze the overflow supply of commercial facility. Also It will discuss the plan characteristics of commercial space conversion of facility conforming to the change of the purchasing pattern that is predicted in the lifestyle on a conversion stage of facility.

In the modern society, the definition of life style has a special meaning. Because of the publicity of social Life, the compound numbers of behavior context and the diversify of Authority these days, the choosing life style is important for the self identity and the life activities. To erect the thesis of metaphoric process and meaning effect by stages, it will be studied and analyzed. Furthermore, studies about contrast, ambiguity, illusion, the element for meaning effect by stages, will be done. The Ubiquitous age Is a organic period for human, space and objects to interact to each other. This relationship can not be alternated by technology. Instead the technology can be a premise and because of the human being's new faculty of sensation, this age request emotional and interactive space design. In this modern life, the study of emotional and sensuous experience and metaphoric process can not be overlooked and should be researched more thoroughly to complete the theory of the new space design.

The purpose of this study is to determine the characteristics of interior coordination in accordance with lifestyles to provide better interior conditions for house dwellers who have many different preferences and needs. For this purpose, this research examined the lifestyles of house dwellers, and their experiences on interior coordination, needs and preferences of dweller groups according to their lifestyles. As the methods of the study, both literature research and empirical survey were conducted. The findings of the study can be summarized as follows; The factor analysis shows that there are five main factors significantly affecting the lifestyles of apartment residents, and the lifestyles of residents were largely classified into four groups. G1 group is characterized by 'demand for luxuriousness' and 'pursuit for beauty', and G2 group has tendency of 'information orientation' and 'pursuit for self-expression', G3 group shows strong tendency for 'pursuit for practicality' and G4 group is characterized by 'pursuit for self-expression' and 'pursuit for beauty'. The four groups showed distinct characteristics in their experiences, needs and preferences of interior coordination. G1 group can be names as 'the style of well-being and luxuriousness', and they are very positive in the interior climate change and prefer artistic items and luxurious atmosphere. G2 group, which can be named as 'the style of expression', tend to have their house interior-coordinated in order to follow fashion trends or express their personality. G3 group is named as 'the style of practicality' and they consider convenience, practicality, and functionality. The last group, G4 can be named as 'the style of personality', and they have much interest in expressing their personality or following trendy fashions.
