  • 기지국/단말 모뎀 검증 장치(MAT)는 기지국(AS) 모뎀, 단말(UE) 모뎀으로 구성되는 초고속 무선 전송 시스템(HM20) MIMO 구조 기지국/단말 모뎀의 자체 기능 검증과 기지국 모뎀과 단말 모뎀의 연동 시험시 오류 원인을 분석하기 위하여 상향 링크(UL)와 하향 링크(DL)의 송. 수신단의 정합부에 디지털 및 아날로그 정합을 이용하여 기지국모뎀과 단말 모뎀이 정상적으로 동작하는지를 시험하게 된다. 모뎀 검증 장치(MAT)는 상향 링크 신호는 단말 변조기의 송신 신호 수신과 기지국 복조기에 변조 신호를 송신, 하향 링크 신호는 기지국 변조기의 송신 신호 수신, 단말 복조기에 변조 신호를 송신하는 기능을 수행하여 상향 링크 신호와 하향 링크 신호를 시험 및 분석하는 기능을 수행한다.

  • This paper concerns the design of a matching module system enabling the RF signal to be harmonized between the new base stations (RRH) and the repeater in the same frequency band of the asynchronous transfer network. This matching system controls the RF Gain Control of the module while monitoring the quality of the quality. Additionally, the RF environment has been adapted accordingly to adjust the RF Gain Control to match the receiver characteristics of the relay. As a result of this study, we improved the quality of the interface between the new base stations and existing relays.

  • In this paper, we propose a new DSSS-QPSK baseband modem receiver structure. A general receiver consists of matched filter, do-spreader, and DLL(Delay Locked Loop). In this paper, the matched filter plays a role of the do-spreader using the structure similarities between the matched filter and the de-spreader. As a result of the new receiver architecture, we can reduce the computational expenses and get the simpler receiver structure. This result can be used as an important part in designing the high speed modem. And, through the computer simulation and the experiment with the proposed architecture, we show that the proposed receiver structure yields fast operation speed and simple overall architecture.

  • 제어 신호용 SAR 부계층 기능부는 메시지 단위로 통신을 수행하는 프로세서와 셀 단위로 전송이 이루어지는 ATM 스위치망간의 정합을 수행한다. 이 기능부는 메시지를 셀로 분할하는 분할부와 셀을 메시지로 조립하는 재결합부로 구성되어 있다. 각종 제어와 관련된 신호의 SAR 기능을 실행하는 이 부분에서 발생하는 병목현상은 전체 교환시스팀의 성능에 미치는 영향이 크다. 본 연구에서는 제어 신호용 SAR 부계층 기능부에 대한 성능 평가 모델을 제시하고 재결합부에 대한 성능 분석을 수치계산 예를 들어 설명한다.

  • This paper describes the implementation of a SoC(System-on-a-Chip) and an ISDN communication terminal by the SoC in ISDN network. The SoC has been developed with the functions of 32-bit ARM7TDMI RISC core processor, network connection with S/T interface, TDM--bus interface and voice codec, user interface. And we also review the developed software structure and the ISDN service protocol procedures which are working on the SoC. And finally this paper describers a structure of an ISDN terminal equipment using the implemented SoC and terminal software.

  • Interface modules design between image sensor and external components are designed by FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) in this paper. Generally speaking, to satisfy synchronization for the poor quality data in image, SRAM is needed. To receive synchronization signal and image signal data with pixel dimension, the proposed interface logic technique is implemented. From the proposed technique, we can obtain more clear screen by implementing with pixel dimension. Operating frequency of image sensor and that of TFT-LCD are 50MHz and 6.5MHz, respectively. Most of control logic functions are embedded in FPGA. The designed logic gate counter has 33,216 and is designed by Quartus II.

  • In this paper, We made the microwave polar transmitter based on the software to analyze the synchronization status between the phase signal and the amplitude signal of polar transmitter, and analyzed the result. In order to solve the time delay mismatch problem, we applied simplified compensation algorithm and compared the synchronization status between the two paths before and after compensation. Before compensation, the value of time delay mismatch was the maximum of 97 nsec at 9.3 GHz with the occupied bandwidth of 12 MHz, but after applying the compensation algorithm, the signals between the two paths were synchronized, and we identified the occupied bandwidth could recover to the previous 3.7 MHz.

  • This paper proposes new configuration for the dual power amplifier that operates at 5.8 GHz for the wireless LAN and 1.8 GHz for the PCS. It dose not select the input signal but amplify the dual band signals simultaneously. Broadband diplexer is used at the input to separate the dual band signals. Output power of each amplifier is 1 W. The PBG is employed to improve the performance of power amplifier. Generally, the PBG is employed at the end of output matching network. But in this paper, the PBG is employed in the load pull output matching circuit of amplifer to maximize the output power.

  • Due to aging, adhesively bonded and riveted aircraft lap joints can contain distends, cracks around rivet holes, fatigue induced flaws, and corrosion. It is required for the safety of aircraft to inspect these defects through the whole region of mint in rapid speed. Bond quality or adhesively bonded and riveted aluminum lap splice joints is investigated using non-contact remote ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation (NDE). Non-contact ultrasonic tests are performed using laser generation and air-coupled transducer detection. A Q-switched Nd:YAG laser and a periodic transmission mask are used to generate a selected Lamb mode. The Lamb wave is generated on one side of the lap splice joint, propagates along the plate, interacts with the joint and is detected on the other side by a micromachined air-coupled capacitance transducer. Analysis of recorded signals allows to evaluate the condition of the bond.

  • The effect of inter-channel coupling in multi-channel monopulse receiver is expected to increase by miniaturization trend of receiver. Therefore, in this paper, calibration method is proposed to compensation for inter-channel coupling in receiver of monopulse radar. And it can prevent distortion of angle information of target. Hardware configuration that consists of switch, directional coupler, matched load, ADC(Analog to Digital Converter), signal source of calibration is proposed to calibration. Total nine scattering parameters are obtained by controlling the switch and signal source of calibration. After that, method for restoring the undistorted signal is proposed using the mathematical relationship between the monopulse signal output from the antenna and the monopulse signal passing through the multi-channel receiver in the presence of inter-channel coupling.
