Solutions for elderly health issues need to be found that take into account not only a medical perspective, but also interactions with social conditions such as socioeconomic status. With this in mind, this study aims to understand how socioeconomic status leads to health inequalities for the elderly. Specifically, this study investigates the mediating effects of socioeconomic status(income and education levels), health activities as an intermediary of the three dimensions of physical health(medical health, functional health, subjective health), accessibility of medical facilities, social participation, and social network. To test the research model, a secondary data analysis was conducted on the 2014 National Survey of Senior Citizens. The participants of the study were 10,451 elderly men and women aged 65 and above. To test the mediated model, hierarchical multiple regression analysis was conducted following the procedures suggested by Baron and Kenny(1986). In addition, a Sobel test was conducted to test the mediated model's significance. According to the analysis, the effects of income and educational levels on the health of the elderly were not the same. Additionally, different results were found depending on health dimensions. However, the overall direction of the results showed that the socioeconomic status of the elderly creates health disparities, and health behaviors, accessibility of medical facilities, social participation, and social network had significant mediation effects between socioeconomic status and physical health. Study findings especially worth noting are as follows: education was shown to have a stronger effect on health than income; effects of social integration factors such as social participation were highlighted; and significant mediating effects on the accessibility of medical facilities remained even after taking residential area into account. Results of this study shed light on health inequality mechanisms due to socioeconomic conditions and the need to find alternatives to alleviate these problems.

The in-country interest in vocalists is worthy of notice. However, the public, including experts, don't have sufficient information for their interest. In this situation, the popularity of Seth Riggs' books is surprising, because his major is vocal music, not popular music, although he is known as 'a great vocal trainer'. Therefore, we should analyze his vocalization methods and compare them with Bel Canto. His skills are (focused on) SLS (Speech-level singing). The unique styles he used are related to Bel Canto in vocal music, but with some differences. Nevertheless, both styles have something in common. For example, they are similar in that they continue to keep up with the times, so as to improve and evolve. Therefore, it is important for the selected passages to be investigated and presented, based on the individual body conditions and properties. Seth Riggs' vocalization method should be systematically examined too. This is because it has great influence on the public.
To investigate the heart rate changes under the influence of physical conditions on mountain trails, heart rates of 3 subjects were recorded on 9 routes in Kyeryongsan National Park and Odaesan National Park. Maximal heart rate during uphill walking recorded between 84% and 96% to individual maximal heart rate using ergometer, thus uphill walking on mountain trail was an exhaustive exercise. The ratio of maximal heart rate during downhill walking indicated between 78% and 93% to maximal heart rate during uphill walking. And gradient of trail influenced on heart rate, but width of trail didn't. The heart rate on wooden- or stony-step-trail were rapidly increased in comparison with the heart rates on soil-trails.

This study aims to investigate the impact of job stress on the job satisfaction and life satisfaction of local government officials who participated in the reading academy from January 2023 to March 2023. The research involved collecting 300 questionnaires and conducting multiple regression analysis to analyze the obtained data. The results of the study are presented below. Impact of Job Stress on Job Satisfaction: The analysis revealed that among the sub-factors of job stress, inappropriate compensation significantly increases job stress among local government officials in the reading academy. Moreover, the study found that turnover intention was particularly high when compensation was not recognized as appropriate, indicating it as the most significant source of job stress. Impact of Job Stress on Life Satisfaction: The findings demonstrate that several factors negatively influence job stress, leading to reduced life satisfaction among local government officials in the reading academy. These factors include undesirable changes in working conditions or situations, anxiety about reorganization, inconsistent work orders, gender discrimination, and an authoritative organizational atmosphere. Effect of Job Satisfaction on Life Satisfaction: The analysis of the relationship between job satisfaction and life satisfaction indicated that turnover intention and remuneration level in job satisfaction positively influenced emotional satisfaction. Conversely, the job itself and interpersonal relationships had a significant negative effect on emotional satisfaction. Furthermore, the job itself and the level of remuneration in job satisfaction showed a significant positive effect on physical satisfaction. Similarly, the job itself and the level of remuneration in job satisfaction positively affected social satisfaction, while the intention to change jobs had a significant negative impact.
The purpose of this study examined the feasibility and efficacy of a senior center-based diabetes self-management program applying action research approach. The cyclical action research method was applied for this study: plan, act, evaluate, and reflect in delivering three waves of the intervention program. Three waves of a 12 weeks-length small group diabetes self-management program were offered during the period of 15 months in a senior center in Seoul. Planning of $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ wave program were based on reflection of $1^{st}$ and $2^{nd}$ program evaluation respectively. Among the 46 participants, 93.48% (N=43) completed the program. The quantitative evaluation showed statistically significant improvement in HbA1C(p<.001), fasting plasma glucose(p<.001), BMI(p=.016), waist circumference(p=.001), systolic blood pressure(p=.036), diabetes self-management behavior(p<.001) and health knowledge(p=.008). Qualitative data revealed that individual management was very helpful in empowering and adhering for own diabetes care for the participants. Participants reported high satisfaction towards the program with mean satisfaction score of 65.12. Application of the Diabetes Self-management program with action study strategy was successful in community setting for improving participants' subjective and objective outcomes. Action research method guides the practitioner to tailor the program to respond for the participants and field needs.
'Gesture' is the most intuitive means of communication except the voice. Therefore, there are many researches for method that controls computer using gesture input to replace the keyboard or mouse. In these researches, the method of user detection and main body parts estimation is one of the very important process. in this paper, we propose user objects detection and main body parts estimation method on inaccurate depth information for pose estimation. we present user detection method using 2D and 3D depth information, so this method robust to changes in lighting and noise and 2D signal processing 1D signals, so mainly suitable for real-time and using the previous object information, so more accurate and robust. Also, we present main body parts estimation method using 2D contour information, 3D depth information, and tracking. The result of an experiment, proposed user detection method is more robust than only using 2D information method and exactly detect object on inaccurate depth information. Also, proposed main body parts estimation method overcome the disadvantage that can't detect main body parts in occlusion area only using 2D contour information and sensitive to changes in illumination or environment using color information.
This paper has the objectives to define the concept of 'Good Care' which is the service goal we are aiming essentially for the improvement of long-term care service quality, to find out the components for 'Good Care', and to explore the conditions that create a good care. In addition, we tried to find the answer about what is the best way to measure the service quality. For this, I referred the advanced researches which explored the fundamental properties of care and tried to find the answer from the accumulated wisdom of service field through the 5-year long term care service experience. As a result of research, the good care can be defined as helping someone to be able to maintain his own life as maximum as possible with the goal to assure total quality life. The most important condition for good care is making 'a good care relationship'. Without damaging the relationship between care provider and care receiver, the individualized service focusing on the demand of care receiver based on mutual reliability, mutual respect and smooth communication should be provided. For the evaluation system, it is reasonable to set the standard according to the size of each institution for the core quality of facility service and establish the certification system of absolute standard to carry out the quantitative evaluation rather than the relative evaluation in the whole. For the part over the absolute certification standard, it is reasonable for each institution to characterize its own characteristics autonomously and carry out the qualitative evaluation for this. For the evaluation of home visit care service, it is recommended to contain the evaluation contents such as user satisfaction, satisfaction of care worker, how well the case management system of home care service center is operated etc.
