Factors Associated with Critical Thinking Disposition in Dental Hygiene Students (치위생(학)과 학생의 비판적 사고 성향과 관련 요인)

  • Critical thinking is recognized as core competency for dental hygiene practice. The purpose of this study was to investigate relationship between critical thinking disposition and grade, types of educational programs and satisfaction with interpersonal relationship, major, clinical practice. Total 909 students in associate and baccalaureate dental hygiene educational program completed self-reported questionnaire on critical thinking disposition inventory developed by Yoon(2004). The mean score for critical thinking disposition was 3.38~3.39 on a 5 point scale. There was no difference in critical thinking disposition scores between students of associate and baccalaureate programs. There was no difference in critical thinking disposition scores between grade of students. The results showed a statistically significant relationship between critical thinking disposition and satisfaction with interpersonal relationship and major. Multivariate analysis of variance(MANOVA) revealed that all subscales for three groups according to satisfaction with interpersonal relationship were significantly different(Pillai's trace=0.075, F(14,1782)=4.979, p<0.001) and all subscales for three groups according to satisfaction with major were significantly different(Pillai's trace=0.035, F(14,1728)=2.257, p=0.005).

Study on Effect of Characteristics of Financial Professionals on Knowledge Sharing, Job Satisfaction, and Firm Innovation (금융업 종사자의 특성이 지식공유, 직무만족, 기업혁신에 미치는 영향 분석 연구)

  • This study is intended to identify the relationship between antecedents and performance factors that affect the knowledge-sharing of financial professionals. In order to accomplish the objective, antecedents were established as 'disposition to trust', 'subjective norm', and 'knowledge-sharing willingness' in the personal aspect, and 'trust in peers' and 'management support' in the organizational aspect. As performance factors, 'job satisfaction' and 'firm innovation' were established, and a research model was presented. Empirical analysis was done on the research model using collected questionnaires from 185 financial professionals. The research findings are as follows. First, disposition to trust of financial professionals has a positive effect on their knowledge-sharing. Second, trust in peers and management support have a positive effect on their knowledge-sharing. Among the antecedents, trust in peers has the strongest effect on their knowledge-sharing. Third, knowledge-sharing of financial professionals has a positive effect on their job satisfaction and firm innovation.

Impact of Employee's Gratitude Disposition on Organizational Citizenship Behavior : Focus on Multi-mediated Effects of Perceived Organizational Support and Job Satisfaction (구성원의 감사성향이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 : 조직지원인식과 직무만족의 다중매개효과를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out how employee's gratitude disposition affects Organizational Citizenship Behavior(OCB) and empirically validating multiple mediation effect of perceived organizational support(POS) and job satisfaction. For this study, an online survey has been conducted on office workers to analyze 380 sets of answers, reviewed reliability and validity through CFA and used SPSS 25.0, AMOS 25.0, Macro Process 3.0, a bootstrap method to test hypothesis. As a result, it is verified that an employee's gratitude disposition positively affects OCB, POS and job satisfaction and that there exists a multiple mediation effect of POS and job satisfaction. In this study, it is validated that an employee's gratitude disposition has a positive influence on OCB and an employee's gratitude disposition, an individual trait, is a related antecedent variable of POS. The result of this study is meaningful that it suggests boosting gratitude disposition, a positive psychological factor, in an organization can positively affect employees' job attitude and organization effectiveness.

  • 운전자지원시스템과 같은 자동화 시스템은 필연적으로 시스템에 대한 운영자의 신뢰와 적응을 초래하는 데, 이는 결국 동시에 긍정적인 효과와 부정적인 효과를 가져온다. 적응순항제어시스템은 대표적인 운전자지원시스템으로서 앞 차량과의 안전 거리와 속도를 자동적으로 제어하여 운전자의 편의성과 안전성을 향상시킨다. 본 연구에서는 적응순항제어시스템에 대한 운전자의 신뢰와 방심 효과를 조사하였다. 차량 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 왕복 2차선과 4차선이 혼합된 자동차 전용도로의 가상 주행 환경을 구축하고, 다양한 주행 상황하에서 운전자의 조종 능력과 대처 능력을 파악하였다. 연구 결과, 적응순항제어시스템에 대한 운전자의 신뢰와 적응은 운전자의 성향에 관계없이 일관된 차간 거리 시간, 가감속값 등을 설정하도록 유도하였고, 결과적으로 안전도와 편의성을 향상시킴을 확인할 수 있었다. 그러나 맹목적인 신뢰와 적응은 돌발 상황에 대한 대처 능력의 저하, 주의 산만, 방심 등을 초래하였고, 결과적으로 안전도를 저하시킴도 확인할 수 있었다. 운전자지원시스템의 이러한 부정적인 효과를 방지하고, 보다 견실하게 운전자의 편의성과 안전도를 향상시킬 수 있는 방안이 요구된다.

Theoretical Perspectives on the Causes and Effects of Political Trust (정치적 신뢰 변화의 원인과 결과: 이론적 쟁점)

  • Political trust is defined as the degree to which people perceive that government is producing outcomes consistent with their expectations. Political trust as a concept has endogenous as well as exogenous characteristics in that it can cause and be caused by other political factors. The purpose of this study is to introduce and evaluate various theoretical perspectives related to the causes and effects of political trust. With respect to its causes, this study focuses on the following five factors: government policies, unethical behaviors of politicians, citizens' penchant for participatory democracy, the public's misperceptions on government, and political culture. On the other hand, this study discusses the impacts of political trust on each stage of political process by paying attention to the following factors: government's governability, election outcomes, political recruitment, and the directions of government policies.

Development of Concentration Time and Storage Coefficient Considering Regional Trend in Urban Stream Watershed (지역적 성향을 고려한 도시하천 유역의 도달시간 및 저류상수 공식 개발)

  • The objective of this study is to develop the equations for concentration time and storage coefficient considering regional trend in urban stream watershed for reliable hydrological analysis. The 13 basins located in Jungrang, Tan, Anyang, and Hongje stream are selected for the data collection and formula development in this study. The stepwise multiple-regression analysis is used for the development considering watershed, urban, and precipitation characteristic indices. The developed formulae are compared with the domestic and foreign empirical formulae and evaluated the accuracy in urban stream area. It shows the computed value from the equation developed in this study is more accurate than those from other empirical formulae. The error sum, average error and RMSE of computed values from the developed equations in this study are the lowest. The formulae considering the regional trend of urban stream watershed are worth in terms of showing better results than the domestic and foreign empirical formulae. It can be concluded the developed formulae can be useful in urban stream watershed.

Purchasing Behavior of Cosmetics of Chinese Women Depending on Their Complex Purchasing Tendencies (중국여성들의 복합적 구매성향에 따른 화장품 구매행태)

  • This study conducted a survey on 319 Chinese women in their 20s to 50s living in three large cities in China, with an aim to analyze the influence on the purchasing behavior and satisfaction for Korean cosmetics depending on their complex purchasing tendencies. According to the research, the rational tendency was higher when the subjects were over 40 years old and married, and the impulsive tendency was the highest in those in their 30s. There was no huge difference in regions depending on the two tendencies, while there were statistically significant differences in purchasing period, times and costs when buying cosmetics. In addition, purchasing satisfaction for cosmetics had a positive correlation with purchasing tendencies. The subjects pursued convenience in purchasing as their rational tendency was higher, while they sought the trends as their impulsive tendency was higher. Based on the results, it is expected to maximize purchasing satisfaction of Chinese female consumers depending on their purchasing tendencies, if the Korean cosmetics makers provide reliable quality assurance, product exchange and customer management services. It is also expected to help revitalize the beauty market for China as well as Southeast Asia, if the Korean cosmetics companies implement differentiated marketing strategies targeting the customers in the age group with the impulsive consumption tendency.

The Effect of Achievement Goal Orientation and Enjoyment of Winter Sports Participants on Participation Satisfaction (동계스포츠 참여자의 성취목표성향이 재미요인 및 참여만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is a study to investigate how the achievement goal orientation of domestic winter sports participants has an effect on fun factors and participation satisfaction. A total of 326 questionnaires were used in this study, SPSS(Version 27.0) was used as a data processing method, and frequency analysis, reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used as statistical methods. The results of verifying the statistical effects of achievement goal tendency, fun factors, and participation satisfaction are as follows. First, as a result of verifying the effect of achievement goal orientation on fun factors, self-goal orientation and task goal propensity, which are sub-factors of achievement goal orientation, had significant effects on exercise ability, exercise utility, promotion of friendship, and self-satisfaction factors. Second, self-goal and task goal propensity, which are sub-factors of achievement goal orientation, had significant effects on facilities, costs, classes, interpersonal relationships, and health factors. Third, the sub-factors of fun factors such as exercise ability, exercise utility, promotion of friendship, and self-satisfaction had significant impacts on facilities, costs, lessons, interpersonal relationships and health factors.

A Study on Technological Thinking Disposition of the Specialized and Meister High School Students (특성화 및 마이스터 고등학교 학생들의 기술적 사고성향 연구)

  • This study has been performed for the purpose of providing the basic pedagogical resources to the specialized and meister high school related educational settings in either constructing educational contents suitable for the students'technological thinking disposition or fortifying the disposition required for the students.. A tool of secured validity and reliability has been used to test technological thinking disposition for the specialized and Meister high school students. Followings are the major results of the survey analysis for the subjects. 1. Technological thinking disposition with the most component ratio for the specialized & meister high school was turned out to be Technological Operating Disposition(TOD). The second most was Technological Planning and Reflecting Disposition(TPRD). Technological Curiosity Disposition(TCD), Technological Problem Identifying and Resolving Disposition (TPIRD), Technological Analyzing Disposition(TAD), Technological Creativity and Expressing Disposition(TCED) were in sequence. 2. In comparing the technological disposition of specialized high school students with that of meister high school students, the statistical test showed no evidence for the difference between the two group. 3. Statistical comparison test for the gender difference in technological thinking disposition has also been performed for the students of specialized and meister high school. The result showed that the magnitude of difference between the component ratio of TCD and TPIRD for the boy students was bigger than that for the girl students. In the TPRD, the component ratio for the disposition of the girl students was bigger than that of the boy students on the other hand. 4. For the comparison test of the technological thinking disposition between boys and girls only for the specialized high school students, the results showed the same different component ratio results as the results of the test for the specialized and meister high school students. 5. For the gender difference of meister high school student for the technological thinking disposition, there was no statistical evidence supporting the difference.

A Structural Interactions among Customer Trust, Attitude, Involvement and Purchase Intention in Internet Shopping Mall (인터넷 쇼핑몰에서 고객신뢰, 태도, 관계몰입과 구매의도의 구조적 관계에 관한 연구)

  • This study investigates the relationship between the antecedents of Trust on Internet Shopping Mall and its effects on attitude, relationship involvement, or purchase intention on the basis of previous researches. 263 undergraduate students were used into data analysis. The date was analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis and Structural Equation Model(SEM) using SPSS and AMOS programs. As the results, the three antecedents of trust excepting company size had the positive effects on trust. Also, trust on Internet Shopping Mall had positive direct effects on attitude and relationship involvement. But, the direct effects of trust on buying intention were rejected. Trust on Internet Shopping Mall was intensified by the positive attitude and relationship involvement and leads to the buying intention. The results of this study provide the e-marketing strategy on Internet Shopping Mall focusing on trust, attitude, relationship involvement, and buying intention.
