A Study on the Influence of Restaurant Factors on Trust and Revisit Intention (외식업 점포 선택요인이 신뢰와 재방문 의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of restaurant selection factors on reliability and revisit intention. The results of empirical analysis were as follows: First, the factors influencing the intention to visit the restaurant were the physical environment, service, price, location, reputation, cleanliness, It is confirmed that consumers are willing to visit again if their satisfaction is high because they choose general consumers considering kindness and taste. Second, trust is found to affect re - visit intention and it can be judged that store faith is actively considering return visit through consumer 's belief. Third, it was found that the factor of selecting the restaurant business influenced the intention to visit again according to the trust. When the customer chooses according to the restaurant business standard and satisfies the trust, it intends to increase the intention to visit again. The results of this study are as follows. First, it is found that the factors of restaurant selection and trust affect the revisit intention of restaurants, and it is meaningful to provide theoretical and strategic implications.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze a case of school change according to the free semester policy and provide its suggestions for the entire implementation of the policy in 2016. For the study, a middle school case was examined qualitatively. The main results are as follows: First, the structural change and psychological change should be simultaneously implemented in order to bring out overall school change. Second, the free semester should be focused on either teaching and learning improvement or career experience by having concrete action plans. Third, school stakeholders' trust and expectation should be improved by the consistency and continuity of the policy, and local educational authorities should reduce teachers work load as well as unnecessary works from the other areas besides teaching.

  • This study identifies possible determinants that may have influences on the switching behavior from the current payment system of credit or check cards to the easy payment service based on push-pulling-mooring model. And this research empirically tests how those determinants affect switching intention to the easy payment service. The moderating effect of policy expectation is also taken into account. The findings show switching intention to the easy payment service is influenced by the followings: dissatisfaction with the current payment system as a pushing factor, perceived easy of use and trust in easy payment service as pulling factors, and affective/cognitive inertia and unfavorable subjective norm as mooring factors. The results also show that moderating effect of policy expectation exists in the relationship between perceived ubiquitousness and switching intention.

Optimization of Improvement Level for Second-Hand Product with Periodic Maintenance Schedule (주기적인 유지보수 계획에 따른 중고제품에 대한 최적 향상수준)

  • Due to a growing demand for the second-hand product, especially for the expensive one, the warranty and maintenance policies for such products have been studied to improve the product reliability of late. In this paper we study a periodic maintenance model for the second-hand product which is purchased by the customer at the age of $x$. When purchased, the dealer provides a warranty of a fixed length during which the product is maintained periodically to reduce the failure rate of the product and thus, to improve the reliability after each maintenance is served. If a failure occurs between two successive maintenances, only minimal repair is conducted. As for the warranty policy, we adopt free non-renewing repair action on each failure, in addition to the periodic maintenance service during the warranty period. Thus, under the given warranty policy, all the maintenance and repair costs incurred during the warranty period are charged to the dealer. For the proposed periodic maintenance scheme, we formulate a cost model to evaluate the expected total cost charged to the dealer during the warranty period and derive an optimal upgrade level of the failure rate at each maintenance to minimize the expected total warranty cost from the perspective of the dealer. We also present numerical results for an optimal upgrade level based on the proposed methods.

Public Interest and Ownership Regulations in the Media Industry in the Era of Convergence Focused on Domestic Daily Newspapers' Ownership of Broadcasting Station (융합시대 미디어산업의 공익성과 소유규제 국내 종합일간지와 방송의 교차소유 문제를 중심으로)

  • Media-related regulations can be classified into two categories; regulations of individual media contents and regulations regarding the entry to and withdrawal from a certain field. In this dissertation, ownership regulations are regarded as legal and political measures so as to prevent the monopoly and oligopoly of public opinion, and to secure its diversity. Every country has its own regulation model according to its particular media environment. Korea too is obliged to actively respond to its environmental changes, at the same time vitalizing the media industry and protecting consumers' rights and interests. Strong political intentions to protect the public interest is necessary when it comes to media regulation policies, especially in the circumstances that public interest is an industrial priority. As the convergence of broadcasting and telecommunications is leading to a major shift in the media industry, the regulation of cross-media ownership is an issue involving potential conflicts among media-owners, non-governmental organizations and the authorities concerned, depending on their various viewpoints regarding the media industry. In this paper, an attempt was made to search necessity of redefining 'public interest', which is the logic behind the restriction of cross-media ownership, and to reconceptualize issues on the centralization and diversity of media. First, an examination of the actual conditions of newspaper companies was carried out in order to reinvestigate domestic cross-media ownership issues, which is represented by the cross-ownership issue of newspapers and broadcasting stations. Next, the dilemma of policies stimulated by the fusion of media was discussed based on cross-media ownership restrictions, and the need for efficient conflict control was suggested. Finally, proposals on the independency and public confidence of media-related policy-making authorities, the rationalization of regulation models, an itemized discussion on cross-media ownership regulation issues, the elaboration of measures for a balanced development among media were made. It could be found that a number of foreign countries were still facing challenges to prevent monopoly and oligopoly of the public opinion and the industry. A solution to settle disagreements about the dilemma of the media industry, including the cross-media ownership regulation issues, must be arranged on the grounds of 'mutual respect of public interest and industrial interest', In Korea, an ease on the ownership regulations adapting to the change in the media industry may be considered, however the softening of the cross-media ownership regulations must be approached with the utmost care. Paradoxically Relieving cross-media ownership regulations may be considered the foundation of a richer field of journalism, where there is no need for concern over the monopoly and oligopoly of public opinion.

  • In this study, in order to analyze the general awareness of the nuclear power according to the controversy of thyroid cancer around nuclear plant, we investigated risks, preference and economics regarding type of power, and awareness of pre-post nucl ear power targeting the Busan Metropolitan residents. As a result, there has been a change in people's awareness of nuclear power as a result of the controversy thyroid cancer around nuclear plant. Especially, there was the greatest increase in the risk factors compared to before the event(p<0.05). Negative awareness of nuclear risk was shown to be expressed differently accor ding to the difference between groups. It is thought that this is due to the different prior experience of each individuals or obtained information through the interaction with others rather than on scientific and objective grounds. In order to establish a nuclear power policy considering the level of the people in the future, it seems that the efforts to understand the attitudes and opinions of people about nuclear power and above all, a scientific trust in nuclear power should be guaranteed.

  • In this study, reliability software cost model considering logarithmic fault detection rate based on observations from the process of software product testing was studied. Adding new fault probability using the Goel-Okumoto model that is widely used in the field of reliability problems presented.   • This study analyzed the effect of perceived service quality for the local content production policy on the service user satisfaction, reuse intention, and the recommendation intention. First, reliability, responsiveness, and adequacy were identified as the service quality evaluation criteria of the local content production policy. Second, all of the quality evaluation criteria had a positive effect on the service user satisfaction. Third, responsiveness had a positive effect on reuse intention, and responsiveness and reliability had a positive effect on recommendation intention. Fourth, the service user satisfaction had a positive effect on the reuse intention and recommendation intention. Therefore, this study has the significance of presenting a theoretical model for the service quality evaluation of the local content production policy, and suggesting perspective for the improvement of the policy.

Structural Relationships between Online Wine Store Quality, Trust, and Perceived Risk (온라인 와인 매장 품질, 신뢰와 지각된 위험간의 구조적 관계)

  • As the issue of selling wine online has been raised in an attempt to implement FTA programs in a more effective way, wine will be available online in the near future in Korea. Thus, this study aimed at identifying key factors which will contribute to reduce various kinds of risks perceived by online customers, and investigating the structural relationships between those factors and perceived risks. Site quality of online wine shop(information quality, system quality), trust in online wine shop were selected as key predictors of perceived risks and research model was established using those factors. Data were collected from those who have experienced in using online wine store, and the research model was tested using valid data. Results of testing research hypotheses using data from survey respondents showed that information and system quality exerted an impact on trust in online wine shop. It was proven that information and system quality posited an impact on time risk whereas they was not related to performance and psychological risk. In addition, trust in online wine shop was shown to be related to time risk, performance risk, and psychological risk.

  • Automotive parts distribution industry focused on increasing sales by product quality until early 2010, but as competition has recently intensified, each company has become interested in core values such as customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty. Therefore, effect of customer-oriented service mindset should be analyzed for the relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty in this industry. For this, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 342 distributors. Structural equation models were analyzed using AMOS 23.0. Empirical results show service quality has positive effects on customer loyalty, and customer satisfaction and trust mediate between service quality and customer loyalty. The service quality became a key factor to elicit customer satisfaction, trust and loyalty. Following studies, it is expected to enhance service quality focusing on extending region coverages.
