  • D/In modern production industries, computer aided systems have been improving the efficiency and convenience of the various stages of work. However. as the complexity of computerized production systems increases, various techniques are still necessary. The problem we addressed occurs in computer systems that automatically make manufacturing process plans in the metal grating manufacturing industry. In the grating layout design, the key to saving the manufacturing cost is to find a design with the minimal number of cutting operations. The proposed genetic algorithm explores the feasible alternatives within the space until an optimal solution is obtained.

  • In this paper harmonic diagnose tool is described for electric evaluate the power quality at industrial power systems is described both simulation and experimental testing during various operation conditions. PTW (Power Tools for Windows) and harmonic measuring instrument are organized around personal computer and/or instrumentation study environments interconnected via RS-232. Unknown zero sequence impedance data of cable is calculated by the modified T&D and BICC method. IEEE standard is also used to estimate the transformer input data. the proposed system provides a flexible and effective environment to diagnose the power quality at industrial distribution systems by utilizing simulations and actual field data.

  • This paper focuses m the measurement of increased work efficiency and competitive advantage expected from the implementation of information systems through random interactions of the organizational behavioral factors whose attributes can be changed with. Specifically, the work reported here is concerned with modeling and analyzing the interrelationships among the organizational behavioral factors which a university information system can have impact on throughout the time horizon of its implementation in terms of productivity. In addition, it is also concerned with developing a continuous simulation model to be used to assess the impact of the information system.

  • This study simulated the effect of the quantity flexibility contract(QFC) on the Korean military inventory system. The results shows that the QFC make the inventory system more efficient. For validity of this study, we assume the basic four demand patterns (increase, decrease, high variation and long seasonality) which are the exogenous variables of these simulation systems. We measured the difference of the traditional military inventory system's and new QFC system's performances. Under the all demand patterns, QFC models have little inventory than the traditional systems. We suggest, therefore, the military change the supply contract into QFC for decrease inventory and expect the results of this study applied to the company level.

  • The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency of two yard layout of HSS at container terminal, one is that the container yard blocks are placed horizontally in parallel with berth, the other is that the yard blocks are arranged vertically in perpendicular to the berth. In stevedoring system of container terminal, stacking and transport performance are influenced according to block arrangement type of yard. Therefore, efficient design that can improve stacking and transport performance is required. In this paper, we compared their efficiency of two block arrangement concepts in terms of storage capacity, productivity, facility investments, truck service level.

  • 루프를 병렬 처리하기 위해 공유 메모리 다중처리기에 루프를 할당하는 네 가지 기법들을 루프 캐리 종속성(loop-carried dependence)을 가진 루프의 할당에 적용하기 위해 하여 변형 후 그들의 성능을 비교 분석한다. 구현은 자바 쓰레드 환경에서 하였다. 또한, 반복들간에 종속 관계가 생기는 루프의 효율적 수행을 위해 CDSS(Carried-Dependence Self-Scheduling)할당 기법을 제안한다. 종속 거리, 쓰레드 수, 반복 수등을 다양하게 하여 시뮬레이션 해 본 결과 제안한 CDSS는 양호한 부하 균형을 유지하였으며 다른 기법들에 비해 루프 수행 시간을 줄여 효율적임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 연구에서는 자기부상 방식의 스테이지 시스템 설계 및 제작을 행하고 시스템의 제어성능평가를 하고자 한다. 본 논문에서는 제어성능의 효율성을 향상시키기 위하여 부상체(Platen)의 기계적인 모델링을 행하고 Platen의 PTP(point to point) 및 궤도추종제어가 가능한 슬라이딩 모드제어기를 제안하였다. 제안한 슬라이딩 모드제어기는 모델링 오차 및 외란에 대해서도 강인한 제어성능을 얻을 수 있으며 수치시뮬레이션을 통하여 그 유용성을 확인하였다.

  • 로봇의 응용과 활용분야는 현 산업의 주요 이슈가 되고 있다. 현재 싱글로봇의 효율적인 운용을 넘어 전체적인 공간탐색 효율 극대화와 넓은 공간에서 싱글 로봇간의 중복적인 공간 탐색을 최소화하기 위한 자동화된 멀티 로봇 운용 기법은 중요한 연구 주제로 부각되고 있다. 멀티 로봇을 효율적으로 운용하기 위해서는 멀티 로봇 시스템의 각 싱글 로봇의 움직임을 파악하여 효율적으로 업무를 할당 할 수 있는 관리체계가 필요하다. 멀티 로봇의 업무 할당과 중복 탐색 최소화를 위해 본 논문에서는 홈로봇(home robot)과 RFID 시스템을 이용한 멀티 로봇 운영 기법을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 로봇들의 Localization, Navigation 및 Mapping을 효율적으로 수행하기 위해 RFID를 활용하고 최적의 공간 할당을 위하여 홈로봇이 각각의 싱글 로봇을 효율적으로 관리한다. 제안된 멀티 로봇 시스템은 싱글 로봇 시스템과 비교하여 시스템 운영의 효율을 극대화할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 각 싱글 로봇의 상태와 주변 상태를 고려한 fault-tolerance를 제공함으로써 로봇 운용의 신뢰성을 보장할 수 있다. 또한 시뮬레이션을 통해 제안한 시스템과 기존 시스템들을 비교하고 제안한 시스템의 효율성을 입증하였다.

A Simulation-Based Analog Cell Synthesis with Improved Simulation Efficiency (시뮬레이션 효율을 향상시킨 시뮬레이션 기반의 아날로그 셀 합성)

  • This paper presents a new simulation-based analog cell synthesis approach with improved simulation efficiency For the hierarchical synthesis of analog cells we developed the sub-circuit optimizers such as current mirror and differential input stage. Each sub-circuit optimizer can be used for synthesis of analog cells such as OTA(operational transconductance amplifier), 2-stage OP-AMP and comparator. To reduce the time spending of the simulation-based synthesis we propose 2-stage searching scheme and simulation data reusing scheme. With those schemes the synthesis time spending of OTA was reduced from 301.05sec to 56.52sec by 81.12%. Since our synthesis system doesn't need other additional physical parameters except SPICE parameters, and is independent of the process and its model level, the time spending to port to other process is minimized. We synthesized OTA and 2-stage OP-AMP respectively with our approach to show its usefulness.

Simulation in Nursing Education in South Korea: An Integrative Review (한국 간호교육에서의 시뮬레이션: 통합적 고찰)

  • This study aimed to determine the current state and characteristics of simulation-based operating processes in nursing education based on the Jeffries theoretical framework in South Korea by taking an integrated look at study findings in order to provide a scientific basis for future simulation-based operating processes. We searched eight databases, including the Korea Education and Research Information Service, National Library, Korean Studies Information Service System, National Digital Science Library, Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information, KOREAMED, and Korean Medical Database, using terms "simulation" and "nursing" as keywords in November 2017 in the Korean language. Sixteen studies were identified, reviewed, and appraised in this integrative review. The literature was categorized into these themes: general study characteristics, operation method, teaching and learning methods, subject characteristics, outcome variables, and theoretical framework. The simulation processes in nursing education in South Korea that were analyzed in this study did not fully reflect the main concepts suggested in the NLN Jeffries simulation framework. Thus, simulation program developers need to consider and incorporate a variety of strategies, based on the identification of essential components, to improve simulation effectiveness.
