Ontology specifies the knowledge in a specific domain and defines the concepts of knowledge and the relationships between concepts. It is possible to provide the service based on the semantic web through the ontology. Therefore, to specify and define the knowledge in a specific domain, it is required to generate the ontology which conceptualizes the knowledge. Accordingly, to search the information of potential customers for home-delivery marketing of post office, we design the specific domain to generate the ontology based on the semantic web in this paper. And we propose how to retrieve the information, using the generated ontology. We implement the data search robot which collects the information based on the generated ontology. Also, we confirm that the ontology and the search robot perform the information retrieval exactly.

Recently, research in building up semantic web for exchanging information and knowledge is active. To make use of video contents as knowledge on semantic web, semantic-based retrieval should be preceded. At present, retrieval based on consentaneity between metadata and keyword is common used. In this paper, I propose ontolgy establishment which enlarge user participation and add usefulness value and history information. This will facilitate semantic retrieval as well as use of video contents by using collective Intelligence. The proposed ontology schema will allow semantic-based retrieval of video contents on semantic web get higher recall compared to current way of retrieval. Moreover it enables you to make use of various video contents as knowledge.

OWL-S has a major leadership in the field of Web Service discovery and is being actively studied in LARKS and METEOR-S projects. These researches do not consider all components of OWL-S standards, and it is needed to enhance their discovery algorithms. In this paper, we propose matching algorithms based on process information such as process structure matching, service classification matching and business pattern matching algorithms. We also improve the QoS matching algorithm of METEOR-S project. Finally, we integrate these two kinds of matching algorithms as accommodate users preferences.

온톨로지(Ontology)란 사람들이 세상에 대하여 보고 듣고 느끼고 생각하는 것에 대하여 서로 간의 토론을 통하여 합의를 이룬 바를 개념적이고 컴퓨터에서 다룰 수 있는 형태로 표현한 모델로, 개념의 타입이나 사용상의 제약조건들을 명시적으로 정의한 기술이다. 온톨로지는 일단 합의된 지식을 나타내므로 어느 개인에게 국한되는 것이 아니라 그룹 구성원이 모두 동의하는 개념이다. 그리고 프로그램이 이해할 수 있어야 하므로 여러 가지 정형화가 존재한다. 온톨로지는 자연어의 기계 번역과 인공지능 분야에서 활용되며, 최근에는 특정 분야의 인터넷 자원과 그 사이의 관계를 기술하는 온톨로지를 사용하는 시맨틱 웹과 이것에서 파생된 시맨틱 웹 서비스 등의 핵심 요소로서 주목받고 있다. 이 논문은 본 연구에서는 창업 시스템 사례를 통한 온톨로지 개발 및 구축을 제안한다. 온톨로지를 이용한 창업 시스템의 개발은 창업 영역에서 서비스 시스템 구현의 토대가 될 것이다.

웹 기반 자료들이 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라 적합한 자료들에 보다 효과적으로 접근할 수 있는 방법이 요구되고 있다. 이러한 새로운 방법들 중의 하나로 제한 검색이 점보 검색 분야에서 제시되었다. 제한 검색은 현재 입력한 검색어의 검색결과를 줄이고자 할 때 이용하는 검색방식으로 전체 문장을 포함하는 자료나 출판 년도, 특정 저널로 제한하여 검색할 수 있으며 일반적인 검색어로 검색할 경우 제한을 주어 결과물을 최대한 줄일 수 있도록 지원하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 검색 방법은 검색의 범위를 URL에 의해 명시되는 사이트 또는 도메인들로만 제한할 수 있을 뿐이며 의미적으로 관련된 사이트들로 제한할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 정보의 공유를 목적으로 하는 커뮤니티를 시맨틱 웹 서비스(Semantic Web Services) 기술을 이용하여 플랫폼에 상관없이 사용자 검색 질의와 가장 유사한 커뮤니티를 의미적으로 식별해 내고 커뮤니티 내의 정보 중 질의와 관련된 정보를 검색결과로 도출할 수 있는 구조를 제안한다.

시맨틱 웹과 시맨틱 웹 서비스의 논리적 기반이 되는 온톨로지에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. W3C는 웹 온톨로지 기술을 위한 표준 언어로 OWL을 발표했고, OWL로 기술된 온톨로지는 웹 서비스, 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 등에서 활용되고 있다. 그러나 OWL의 복잡한 문법 구조는 OWL 온틀로지 개발을 어렵게 하고 있어, 직관적으로 OWL 온틀로지를 개발할 수 있는 방법이 요구되었고. 이를 위해 Protege 등 많은 온톨로지 편집기들이 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 쉬운 OWL 온톨로지 편집을 위해 개체 중심의 온톨로지 시각화를 통한 온톨로지 편집기 개발에 관한 내용을 담고 있다. 이 편집기는 JDK 1.4 환경에서 개발되었으며 OWL 온톨로지 분석을 위해 Jena2 API를 사용하였다.

We propose semantic model that is possible to apply for the bibliographic metadata of domestic digital library by analysing bibliographic metadata models like MARC, DC, MODS, JeromeDL's metadata model MarcOnt as the representative case of semantic digital library and FRBR model as the conceptual model.

본 논문에서 우리는 지능형 e-비즈니스를 효과적으로 수행하기 위한 시맨틱 웹 서비스 아키텍처의 구성요소인 마크업인 OWL-S를 CLP(Constraint Logic Program) RuleML로의 확장 및 통합방안에 관한 연구결과를 제시한다. 우리의 주 공헌은 OLP(Ordinary Logic Program), SCLP(Situated Courteous Logic Program) 및 CLP(Constraint Logic Program) 사이의 표현력과 계산력을 비교 및 분석한 근거를 바탕으로 하여 시맨틱 웹, 웹 서비스 그리고 규칙표현 모두가 함께 사용될 수 있는 근거를 제공하였다는 것이다. 본 논문에서 제안된 접근법은 온톨로지를 마크업하기 위한 노력과 규칙을 표현하기 위한 노력이 자연스러운 방법으로 통합될 수 있는 근간을 마련할 뿐만 아니라 규칙들을 이용하여 온톨로지들을 보완하고, 규칙들에서 사용되는 용어들을 온톨로지들에서 정의된 용어들 및 속성들로 표현할 수 있다는 장점을 가진다.

인터페이스가 제한된 단말에서 정보 검색 서비스를 제공하는 경우, 검색 재현율보다는 정확도가 중요하다. 데이터를 쉽게 구조화할 수 있고 검색 정확도가 중요한 한정된 도메인에서는 시맨틱 검색 기술을 통해 강력한 정보 검색 서비스를 제공할 수 있지만, 사용자 키워드 질의를 시스템 질의로 변환하는 과정에서 다양한 해석들이 존재할 수 있기에 개선의 여지도 많다. 본 논문에서는 해석 정확도와 확장성을 동시에 향상시키기 위한 새로운 모델을 제안한다. 제안 모델은 공간의 구조와 요소들의 해석을 제한함으로써 중간 탐색 공간의 크기를 점진적으로 줄이면서 사용자의 검색 의도는 가능한 보존할 수 있다. 실제 데이터로 이루어진 대용량 지식을 이용해 다른 최신 기술과 비교하여 실험적 평가를 제시하였다.

웹 2.0의 등장과 함께 Restful 웹 서비스의 활용이 전통적인 SOAP 기반 웹 서비스에 비해 크게 증가되었다. 최근 웹상에 이용 가능한 Restful 웹 서비스들의 수가 급격하게 증가됨에 따라 사용자들이 적합한 웹 서비스를 찾는 것은 매우 중요한 이슈로 대두되었다. 그러나 기존의 키워드 기반 검색 방법은 낮은 검색의 정확도 때문에 문제가 많다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 Restful 기반 온톨로지 구축 방법을 제안하고자 한다.
