Meaning of Waiting Experience and Principles of Service Design (서비스 대기시간에서 사용자 경험의 의미와 서비스 디자인 원칙)

  • Managing waiting experience is critical for providing service because waiting is an inevitable experience. We explored the factors which influence the waiting experience of the customers and the experience they face, in order to find out the meaning of waiting experience of the customer. As a result, we investigated a holistic sequence divided into four stages. When the customers wait for the service, perceived time would be increased by Zeigarnik effect. How long the customers feel when waiting is largely affected by a gap between waiting time and the perceived time, rather than the perceived time itself. Furthermore, the customers showed a tendency to have hard time immersing in the media due to considering others. Additionally, we could find that waiting time after giving an order is relatively more important than the waiting time before the order. Based on the results, the service provider should convey a feeling of completion by fitting the end point of the media to the point when the customer receives the service. In addition, high predictability needs to be offered for the customers in order to predict the exact waiting time. Finally, the customers should feel as if they take the initiative during waiting time.

  • 최근, 임상연구는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스를 이용한 환자 개인의 맞춤형 의료 서비스에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 시스템은 원격의 환자를 유무선 네트워킹 기술을 활용하여 "언제 어디서나" 이용 가능한 의료서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 이러한 기술들 덕택에, 의료 서비스가 의료기관 내에서 실-생활 영역으로 공간적인 확대와 특정 질병치료에서 평생 건강관리로 시간적인 확대가 가능해졌다. 본 논문에서는 유비쿼터스 환경에서 환자와 전문의가 실시간으로 상호작용을 통해 최적의 의료서비스 제공할 수 있는 유비쿼터스 헬스케어 서비스 기반의 과민성 방광 환자 관리 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

  • Designers should know CAD tool/license information such as available number of licenses or tools, types, and configuration methods to use CAD tools properly in their group. Usually, this information is provided by managers who administrate CAD tool and license servers in the specific design group. In the previous CAD tool/licenses sharing methods, designers have to get CAD tool/license information manually and setup the environments with their own hands. n a new designer comes into the design working group, the designer wastes unnecessary design time, because of these processes. As a result, designer's poductivity and utilization of CAD tools will decrease Besides, managers also waste their time and effort, since they should provide CAD tool/license information manually to each designer. In this paper, we present an automated scheme to share CAD tool/license information based on directory service. The proposed methods automate the communication processes between managers and designers that minimze unnecessary time to share CAD information. In addition, as this system maintains the consistency of CAD information automatically that remove the repeated work of managers and designers, it improves the enciency of sharing. Besides, it automates the license configuration steps using prof(y Last, we offer Executable Proxy which is proper for thin CAD application. We believe this scheme will reduce designers and managers' time and effort as well as maximize the utilization of CAD tools.

  • 이 논문에서는 최근 각광 받는 의료 융합 IT를 이용한 모바일 콘텐츠로써 안과 병원을 찾지 않고도 스마트폰을 이용하여 건강관리 서비스를 제공하는 스마트폰 앱의 개발을 다룬다. 개발하려는 서비스를 통하여, 자신의 눈 상태를 체크하고 예방할 수 있으며, 주기적인 시력검사 및 색맹/색약, 난시/근시 등의 질환을 검사하고 동체시력운동, 원근법 눈운동, 눈체조 등 눈이 좋아지는 운동과 눈이 좋아지는 그림을 통하여 눈의 피로를 해소하고자 한다. 또한 검사 결과에 따른 개인별 검사 관리표, 시력 예방 관리 그래프 제공하여 자가진단 및 시력 관리를 할 수 있도록 한다. 이러한 서비스는 시간과 장소에 구애 받지 않고 사용자에게 제공 하도록 스마트폰 앱으로 개발한다.

  • 학술활동 생명주기는 저자, 학술단체 및 정보서비스 제공자의 관점에서 논문투고, 심사, 출판, 데이터베이스 구축, 정보서비스로 정의될 수 있다. 생명주기 단계별로 학술단체들은 온라인 또는 오프라인 도구들을 이용해 저자와 심사위원들간의 커뮤니케이션을 돕고 있으며, 정보서비스 제공기관들은 출판된 학술정보를 수집하고 데이터베이스를 구축하여 정보서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이들 단계들에 표준식별체계를 적용하여 유기적으로 연결해 주면 생명주기 활동에 들어가는 전체적인 시간, 노력, 비용을 절감 할 수 있다. 이 발표에서는 학술활동 생명주기의 이해당사자들의 요구를 전반적으로 만족시키기 위해 개발된 DOI등록 관리 서비스의 설계 및 구현에 대해서 논한다.

  • ITSM(IT Service Management)은 2000년대 중반 이후 기업 및 공공기관에 본격적으로 적용되기 시작하였다. ITSM의 한 부분으로 IT 조직에서는 외주업체와 SLA(Service Level Agreement)을 체결하여 정보시스템 서비스의 품질을 적정수준으로 관리토록 노력하고 있다. 그러나 SAL를 적용하는 서비스 측정항목을 선택하는데 있어 측정이 비교적 용이한 서버 운영시간, 서버 성능, 서비스 가동률 등 서버운영에 주로 초점이 맞춰져 왔다. 응용시스템에 대한 서비스 요청 적기 처리율, 변경요청 적기 처리율 등에 대해서는 고객과 외주업체의 협의요소 증가, 데이터 관리 및 정확성 부족 등으로 SLA 항목에서 제외되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 응용시스템의 유지보수 관련 SLA 적용에 초점을 맞춰 서비스데스크 구축방안을 제시하였다.

  • Various studies on individual health-care application services have been lively going on due to recent development of information and communication technology and improvement of life quality. Moreover, U-health care area is emerging as a new growth industry as the demand of U-health care service for a quality life grows with the development of medical technology and ubiquitous environment. U-health care system for crew members on ships, who need to spend much time on sea far from their families, is especially needed because they find their job much more stressful not only physically but also mentally than any other people in different jobs do and have less chance to get proper medical services in time. In this paper, we suggested how to get more accurate and objective U-health wellbeing index by complementing SF-36, the general heath care index model in order to managing health of crew. Also we designed the U-health wellbeing index service system which can provide appropriate sports programs or diet contents according to health index.

Design and Implementation of Safe Management for Nursing Students (간호학생을 위한 안전관리 설계 및 구현)

  • Recently, due to increases in the numbers of nursing students, there are many cases of clinical practice in remote areas other than in hospitals near a school. In this regard, the Korea Institute of Nursing Evaluation emphasizes the securing of safety, the provision of regulations, and countermeasures related to long-term practices of nursing students. The purpose of this study is to develop a safety management application for nursing students who are practicing at a distance. This application configuration consists of accommodation location information, nursing student location information check, and notification of the professor in charge. The location information of nursing students was based on their location on weekdays from 10 pm to 11 pm, due to the work schedule of the nursing students. For this reason, nursing students can use this app after their clinical practice; if the student is out of the safety radius or there is a problem, a risk notification can be provided through a service and a rescue request can be made.

Dynamic Stream Merging Scheme for Reducing the Initial Latency Time and Enhancing the Performance of VOD Servers (VOD 서버의 초기 대기시간 최소화와 성능 향상을 위한 동적 스트림 합병 기법)

  • A VOD server, which is the central component for constructing VOD systems, requires to provide high bandwidth and continuous real-time delivery. It is also necessary to the sophisticated disk scheduling and data placement schemes in VOD sewers. One of the most common problem facing in such a system is the high initial latency time to service multiple users concurrently. In this paper, we propose a dynamic stream merging scheme for reducing the initial latency time in VOD servers. The proposed scheme allows clients to merge streams on a request as long as their requests fall within the reasonable time interval. The basic idea behind the dynamic stream merging is to merge multiple streams into one by increasing the frame rate of each stream. In the performance study, the proposed scheme can reduce the initial latency time under the minimum buffer use and also can enhance the performance of the VOD server with respect to the capacity of user admission.

  • Recently the disease by eating of the modern prevention, management, and trends in the u-healthcare service that provides healthcare services including health promotion is changing rapidly. However, u-healthcare service is a healthcare information that provides users of the disease can not be analyzed even if the service is stored or not stored in the management server status is giving the inconvenience caused to users of the health services. In this paper, we propose a management method of health care services and a big data formation information that provides users of the disease to facilitate the users of health care services through the use magazine big data information regardless of time and place. The proposed method has the user's bio-information and the measured health information and transmits data through a wired or wireless communication to the medical institution and the user's health information data formation by the big user of the analysis of the health information and the disease of the user feedback to the user.
