A Study on the Perception of Sports Psychological Counseling

  • This study conducted surveys and in-depth interviews to explore the perception of sports psychology counseling among athletes. The participants included a total of 8 individuals: 307 athletes surveyed, 4 athletes who had received counseling, and 4 who had not. The survey investigated athletes' perceptions and management of psychological training, the perceived necessity of seeking advice for everyday concerns, willingness to use and perceived need for sports psychology counseling, prior experiences, and pre-engagement considerations. According to the survey results, 69.1% of athletes recognized the importance of mental training, but only 33.2% actually underwent psychological training. Furthermore, while 67.8% expressed a desire to receive education on psychological training from professionals, only 19.9% reported having searched for related information. When asked about their willingness to pay for sports psychology counseling services, 55.7% expressed willingness. Reasons for wanting to receive counseling, reasons for not wanting to receive counseling, and preferences or considerations for counseling sessions were listed as well. In the in-depth interviews, participants were classified into those who had received counseling and those who had not, delving deeply into motivations for seeking counseling or reasons for not doing so, perceptions during counseling sessions, considerations, preferred types of counselors, and program preferences. Based on this research, discussions and recommendations were provided with the perspective of utilizing sports psychology counseling as foundational data for providing high-quality services to users.

Analysis of bone bruise associated with anterior cruciate ligament injury (전방십자인대 손상과 관련된 골멍의 패턴 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between acute anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury and bone bruise using the survey for location and incidence of bone bruise. Materials and Methods: From Jan. 2006 to Feb. 2010, 87 knees from who had complaint a traumatic knee pain were diagnosed as acute ACL tear using MRI evaluation. Associated injury, location and incidence of bone bruise were analyzed using MRI. The location of bone bruise on the MRI was classified as medial, central and lateral area on anteroposterior and lateral view of femur and tibia. The bone bruise was classified with Costa Paz classification. Results: Bone bruise of injury during daily living activity were located at medial area on coronary view and anterior area on sagittal view of distal femur, at medial area on coronary view and anterior area on sagittal view of proximal tibia (p=0.024, p=0.021, p=0.025 and p=0.029, respectively). Bone bruise of injury during sports activity were located at lateral area on coronary view and central area on sagittal view of distal femur, at lateral area on coronary view and posterior area on sagittal view of proximal tibia (p=0.014, p=0.015, p=0.018 and p=0.017, respectively). Bone bruise patterns due to traffic accident were inconclusive (p=0.264, p=0.254, p=0.229 and p=0.267, respectively). Conclusion: Injury mechanism of acute ACL injury from activities of daily living or sports activities compared to that of traffic accident showed a more consistent bone bruise patterns. Special attention to acute ACL tear must be paid in case of bone bruise at lateral tibial plateau and lateral femoral condyle.

  • GBFCM(DM), Gradient-based Fuzzy c-means with Divergence Measure, for efficient clustering of GPDF(Gaussian Probability Density Function) in MPEG VBR video data modeling is proposed in this paper. The proposed GBFCM(DM) is based on GBFCM( Gradient-based Fuzzy c-means) with the Divergence for its distance measure. In this paper, sets of real-time MPEG VBR Video traffic data are considered. Each of 12 frames MPEG VBR Video data are first transformed to 12-dimensional data for modeling and the transformed 12-dimensional data are Pass through the proposed GBFCM(DM) for classification. The GBFCM(DM) is compared with conventional FCM and GBFCM algorithms. The results show that the GBFCM(DM) gives 5∼15% improvement in False Alarm Rate over conventional algorithms such as FCM and GBFCM.

  • 텍스트 마이닝(Text Mining)이란 텍스트형태의 문서들의 패턴 또는 관계를 추출하여 사용자가 원하는 새로운 정보를 가공하거나 기존의 정보를 변형하는 과정을 말한다. 텍스트 마이닝의 기능에는 문서 범주화(Document Categorization), 문서 군집화(Document Clustering), 그리고 문서 요약(Document Summarization)이 이에 해당된다. 문서 범주화란 문서에게 사전에 정의한 범주를 부여하는 과정을 말하고, 문서 군집화란 문서들을 계층적 구조로 형성하는 과정을 말하고, 문서 요약이란 문서의 전체 내용을 대표할 수 있는 내용의 일부만을 추출하는 과정을 말한다. 이 논문에서는 문서 범주화만을 다룰 것이며 그 대상으로는 신문기사로 설정하였다. 그의 범주는 4가지로 정치, 경제, 스포츠, 그리고 정보통신으로 설정하였다. 문서 범주화는 문서 분류(Document Classification)라고도 하며 문서에 범주를 자동으로 부여하여 기존에 인위적으로 부여함으로써 소요되는 시간과 비용을 절감하는 것이 목적이다. 문서 범주화에 대하여 k-NN(k-Nearest Neighbor)와 신경망을 이용하였으며, 신경망을 이용한 경우가 k-NN을 이용한 경우보다 성능이 우수하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 효과적인 내용기반 비디오 검색을 위한 샷 경계 검출, 장면 경계 검출, 그리고 비디오 크래시피케이션 방법을 연구하였다. 먼저, 샷 경계 검출을 위해 칼라 히스토그램과 DCT 변환 계수를 통합하여 사용했다. 그리고 장면 경계 검출을 위해서는 영상 정보뿐만 아니라 오디오 정보를 함께 사용하여 장면 경계를 검출하였다. 또한 비디오 크래시피케이션에서는 장면 경계검출시 추출한 오디오 정보를 이용해 비디오를 내용별로 분류하는 연구를 제안하였다. 뉴스, 광고, 스포츠 등 다양한 3개 분야의 TV 프로그램으로 구성된 약 8,500개 영상 프레임과 약 50,000개의 오디오 프레임을 가진 실험 비디오 데이터베이스를 구성하여 제안된 시스템을 실험하였다. 실험한 결과, 약 88%의 정확도(Precision)를 가지는 장면 경계 검출과 약 85%의 평균 분류율을 보였다.

3D Character Modeling Through Reconstruction of Human Body Information (인체 정보 재구성을 통한 3D캐릭터 모델링)

  • The national standard physique research of Korea is being conducted every 5-6 year term after its first research was started in 1979, the fourth research was conducted in 1997. The result of the national physique research was reflected in manufactured goods design of allied industries such as clothing, shoes, furniture. In this thesis, we measured anthropometry value for every bodily figurative classification after dividing users according to gender, age, bodily figure using the result of the national standard physique research. We constructed 3D character through the process of analyzing interrelation of measured anthropometry and measuring representative category. For the process for organization, we measured anthropometry which can express sports action of golf, tennis and etc effectively. We made it by Presenting measurement which is able to form each type of 3D character after the category was decided. Quantitative and objective valuation for posture and action became possible by developing visible information offer and posture action analysis protocol in theoretical approach for analysis of posture and action in sports.

Effects of Dance Sports on Body Composition, Serum Lipids and Leptin in the Middle-Aged Women (댄스 스포츠가 중년여성의 혈중지질 및 렙틴에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of Dance Sports on body composition, blood level of lipids and leptin in the middle-aged women. The 24 subjects for this study were divided into three groups by the % fat classification non-obese control group (n=8, CG), obese group with Dance Sports (n=8, OG), and normal group with Dance Sports (n=8, NG). They performed Dance Sports with 60∼80% of HRmax, for 60min a day and three times per week during 12 weeks. The body composition, blood levels of total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, triglyceride and leptin were examined before and after Dance Sports. The percent body fat was decreased in OG and NG significantly. The blood levels of HDL-cholesterol were increased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. The blood levels of triglyceride was significantly decreased in the same groups. Other serum lipids were not changed significantly. The blood levels of leptin were decreased in OG and NC after the Dance Sports. But the lowering effect of Dance Sports in the obese group (OG) was not improved compared with that in the normal group (NG), suggesting that Dance Sports on the obese group (OG) has no further improving effect in the change of blood lipid and leptin. These results suggest that Dance Sports has a beneficial effect on the change of blood levels of HDL-cholesterol and leptin.

  • Modern sports are developing into sports science that incorporates science and various analytical simulation systems for improving records are being developed, and they are helping to improve actual game records. Therefore golf which is one of various sports events, has been popularized among the hobbyists and the general public and there is an increasing demand for correcting the movement attitude of the person. In response to these demands, many systems have been developed to analyze and correct golf swing postures. The golf swing accuracy analysis system analyzes the moments that can not be seen with the naked eye and guides them to understand easily. It can improve the golf swing motion through immediate feedback due to the visual effect. Using the knowledge of golf swing motion collected from golf swing video, we improved reliability. In addition, it provides the ability to visually check and analyze your golf swing video, allowing you to analyze each segment based on various golf swing classification methods.
