  • Due to the educational ecosystem in South Korea, there is a significant need to explore a new balance for students who pursue sports rehabilitation education based on their academic performance, in order to help them adapt to their majors, find career paths, and foster motivation for employment. There is a lack of related research in this crucial phase. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the impact of sports rehabilitation education on career aspirations and employment motivation through psychological reactions. The research methodology involved conducting an online survey from December 11th to December 28th, 2023, targeting university students undergoing sports rehabilitation education, with a final collection of 212 survey responses used for analysis. The research findings indicate: firstly, that the knowledge of sports rehabilitation educators has a positive influence on voluntary psychology. Secondly, the competence of sports rehabilitation educators has a positive impact on voluntary psychology. Thirdly, the attitude of sports rehabilitation educators negatively affects involuntary psychology. Fourthly, voluntary psychology positively influences career aspirations. Finally, voluntary psychology positively influences employment motivation, while conversely, involuntary psychology negatively affects employment motivation. These research results are expected to contribute to the development of sports rehabilitation education that influences career paths and employment motivation through psychological reactions.

Ancient Cave Exploration: A Screen Climbing Game for Children (고대동굴탐험: 어린이를 위한 스크린 클라이밍 게임)

  • Screen climbing is a kind of screen sports. In screen climbing, the software program is executed in a computer system and climbing is progressed by the interaction between a climber and the content of the screen. We implemented a screen climbing game with the ancient cave exploration considering the development of children and the children's motivation to sports climbing. The content of the game is projected to the artificial climb wall and the interaction between a user and the game is done by a user's input of Kinect's depth data. The game is popular with the children in the children's exhibition event. There should be implemented more screen climbing game.

  • Up to 20th century, mankind pursues freedom while now in 21st, the thing pursued most could be safety. Economic development and personal improvement in life have yielded the factors that threaten the safety, from which the blank of security is formed so that the private security finally became significant. Thus this study is to present the leisure motivation of private security guards and some required policy data, through improvement of poor working condition and sports participation.

  • 디지털 방송 환경에서 메타데이터 서비스가 가장 주목 받고 있는 기술 중 하나이다. 그리고 컨텐트의 주요 장면만을 나타내는 하이라이트 메타데이터 서비스가 가장 혁신적이다. 계층 구조화된 하이라이트 메타데이터는 시청자가 다양한 관점(viewpoint)에서 방송을 시청할 수 있으며, 스포츠 경기의 하이라이트 장면만 선택적으로 볼 수 있는 서비스를 제공 한다. 하이라이트 메타데이터 서비스를 제공 하기 위해서는 실시간 하이라이트 메타데이터를 생성 하는 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 하이라이트 메타 데이터를 생성할 수 있는 두 가지 색인 단계를 정의하고, 시청자의 STB(Set-top Box) 저장된 디지털 스트림과 방송시간과의 동기화 방법을 제안한다. 그리고 하이라이트 정보를 MPEG-7 표준 스키마의 xml로 서술방법을 제안한다.

A Study on the Relationship between Self-Determination Motivation, Exercise Satisfaction, and Exercise Continuation Intention in High School Students (고등학생의 자기결정성 동기, 운동만족, 운동지속의도의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between self-determination motivation of high school students on exercise satisfaction and exercise continuation intention. To this end, as of March 2022, an online questionnaire was distributed to 440 male students attending high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, and they were asked to fill out the questionnaire through self-assessment. 346 copies were selected as a valid sample, excluding 94 copies of insincere responses such as responses of the same pattern and incomplete responses. For data processing, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and correlation analysis were conducted using SPSS 24.0 and IBM AMOS 18.0 statistical programs, and the following results were derived through structural equation model analysis to identify the structural relationship between factors. First, among self-determination motivation factors, competence and relatedness had a positive (+) effect on exercise satisfaction, but autonomy had a negative (-) effect on exercise satisfaction. Second, there was no relationship between self-determination motivation and exercise continuation intention in high school students. Third, it was found that the relationship between exercise satisfaction and exercise continuation intention had a positive (+) effect.

Correlation Analysis of Marine Leisure Sports Wear -Focused on Body Shape, Age and Variable

  • This study investigated the purchase status, wearing status, purchase satisfaction, selection criteria, and improvement marin leports wear for subjects who enjoy marine leisure sports in the southwestern region of Jeollanam-do, and examines the correlation between age and body type and the correlation between variables. SPSS Ver. 26.0 program was used for analysis. In the correlation between the motivation for participation and the selection criteria, when participating to increase physical strength, it was selected based on the fit. When participating for leisure or hobbies, they were selected based on design and color. The relationship between the selection criteria and purchase satisfaction was not satisfied in terms of price when they were selected based on activity or utilization of other uses. As for the selection criteria according to the body type, clothing was selected based on price and fashion for large triangles and squares, and elasticity for inverted triangles. As for the preferred color by age, only those in their 40s preferred blue and other age groups preferred achromatic color. In future studies, it is thought that a study on the preference of each marine leisure sports item should be conducted.

  • Virtual reality technology was initially developed for entertainment purposes such as games, movies, sports, and theme parks, but gradually expanded to a number of industries such as education, e-commerce, and health care,. Therefore, safety education content incorporating VR is also rising rapidly. However, the program activity on safety education in our country is still insignificant. Although rescue of patients with acute cardiac arrest using defibrillators is one of the most representative safety education, in 2014, defibrillators are rarely used in Korea to save the lives of patients and there are very few cases of using defibrillators. The use of automatic defibrillators and the importance of knowing how to use them for expanding accessibility are necessary. However, it is not easy to provide experience education only after completing the safety education in simple theoretical education. In this paper, we propose a automatic defibrillator training simulation system using virtual reality that can be freelu trained at any time.

A Study on the Perception of Sports Psychological Counseling

  • This study conducted surveys and in-depth interviews to explore the perception of sports psychology counseling among athletes. The participants included a total of 8 individuals: 307 athletes surveyed, 4 athletes who had received counseling, and 4 who had not. The survey investigated athletes' perceptions and management of psychological training, the perceived necessity of seeking advice for everyday concerns, willingness to use and perceived need for sports psychology counseling, prior experiences, and pre-engagement considerations. According to the survey results, 69.1% of athletes recognized the importance of mental training, but only 33.2% actually underwent psychological training. Furthermore, while 67.8% expressed a desire to receive education on psychological training from professionals, only 19.9% reported having searched for related information. When asked about their willingness to pay for sports psychology counseling services, 55.7% expressed willingness. Reasons for wanting to receive counseling, reasons for not wanting to receive counseling, and preferences or considerations for counseling sessions were listed as well. In the in-depth interviews, participants were classified into those who had received counseling and those who had not, delving deeply into motivations for seeking counseling or reasons for not doing so, perceptions during counseling sessions, considerations, preferred types of counselors, and program preferences. Based on this research, discussions and recommendations were provided with the perspective of utilizing sports psychology counseling as foundational data for providing high-quality services to users.

Analysis of the History and Present of the Deaf Baseball of Korea and U.S. (한-미 청각장애인 야구의 역사와 현황의 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to review and analyze the history and present of the deaf baseball of Korea and U.S. This study used text analysis method that applies comprehensive analysis of the research paper, newspaper, publications and the data from related associations. This study found followings. First, youth baseball teams need to be vitalized. Second, to maximize the motivation and sense of accomplishment, various tournaments need to be hosted and the support for participating in international tournament is necessary. Third, the interchange between deaf baseball and softball is needed. Fourth, the integration of deaf sport and non-disabled sport is necessary. The results of this study might be used for further researches on deaf baseball.

Analysis on the Type and Characteristics of Penalty in World Judo (세계유도 반칙 유형 및 특성 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the penalty types and characteristics of world judo players. Using a total of 19,889 penalties in 9,737 matches at the World Judo Grand Prix, the team draws a difference in the types and time of fouls according to gender, weight class and time. Results Both foul play and warning showed gender differences, and both men and women affected warning rates in weight class and time classification. In addition, fouls caused by non-combat behavior and camouflage attacks have a forward direction of time, and a low time of fouling by heavyweight athletes. Judo athletes and leaders expect to be used as basic data based on scientific data, such as training, skills, tactics and motivation, taking into account the characteristics of the foul type. Requires follow-up studies of scoring relationships and winning factors.
