The Effects of Job Stress with Depression and Fatigue of Firemen (소방관의 직무스트레스가 우울 및 피로에 미치는 영향)

  • This study aims to identify job stress of firemen and the relations between their job stress, depression and fatigue, targeting firemen who are working for local fire stations. We interviewed the subjects using a short-answer type questionnaire or a online questionnaire. The data collected were analysed with a use of SPSS WIN 15.0 for confidence analysis, correlation analysis, step-by-step multi-regression analysis, and covariance structure analysis(CSA). This study result tasks and emotional stress had a direct effect on depression and fatigue. Therefore, this study suggests that governmental management should be provided for firemen that are classified as a high-risk group in occupational characteristics. Above all, the causes of stress should be diagnosed, its management goals should be set, and effective intervention programs should be provided.

The Effects of Industrial Workers' Job Stress and Oral Health Related Quality of Life on Subjective Happiness in convergence era (융복합시대 산업장 근로자의 직무 스트레스 및 구강건강 관련 삶의 질이 주관적 행복감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the association between industrial workers' job stress and oral health related quality of life and subjective happiness. The subjects of this study were 228 workers, from August 8 to September 2, 2016, research tool was the structured, anonymous, self-administrated questionnaire. The data were analyzed by SPSSWIN 18.0, t-test and one way ANOVA, Scheffe' post hoc test, Pearson correlation and Hierarchial multiple regression. Negative correlation was found between job stress and OHIP-14 and between job stress and subjective happiness and positive correlation was found between OHIP-14 and subjective happiness. As for the explanatory power of the independent variables affecting subjective happiness, gender, self-reported living status, self-reported general health, dental checkups, and job stress were significant variables. It is therefore necessary to run an industrial oral intervention program on a regular basis and cope positively with stress with the objective of helping workers improve their subjective happiness.

Convergence Study on the Employment Stress and Self-rated Oral Health Status in University Students (대학생의 취업스트레스와 자가구강건강상태에 관한 융합적 연구)

  • This study was to survey the relationship between employment stress and self-rated oral health status in university students from Sep. 2 to 27, 2019. Data were analyzed using the SPSS 22.0 program. In case of high employment stress, the comparative risk of self-rated oral health status was 1.7 times in Gingiva swelling, 1.46 times in ulcer and 1.53 times in hypersensitivity. After correcting the general characteristics (gender, age, grade, major), the comparative risk was 1.56 times for Gingiva swelling, 1.42 times for ulcer and 1.44 times for hypersensitivity. Therefore employment stress was found to be related to oral health and it is considered necessary to find ways to prevent and manage oral health by seeking various methods such as counseling support or stress control to reduce employment stress.

The Stress, Self-Efficacy, And Self-Control of University Students Impact on Smartphone Addiction (대학생의 스트레스, 자기효능감, 자기통제력이 스마트폰 중독에 미치는 영향)

  • This study attempted to verify the structural model of the effects of stress, self-efficacy, and self-control on smartphone addiction in University students. The subjects of this study were 440 University students in G and P city. Results, First the most influential variables on smartphone addiction were self-control, followed by stress, and two variables explained explanation about smartphone addiction in 34%. Second, self-efficacy had a positive effect on self-control and stress had a negative effect. Both variables had an indirect effect on smartphone addiction through self-control. In groups less than 4 hours and above, there was a partial regulation effect because of differences between groups in the smartphone addiction pathway coefficients of stress and self-efficacy. Therefore, in order to reduce smartphone addiction, it is important to find ways to reduce stress and increase self-control and self-efficacy, and necessary to develop various programs and tailor educational interventions for each individual situation.

The Effect of Workplace Bullying, Job Stress, and Organizational Commitment on Turnover Intention of Nurses in Small and Medium-sized Hospitals (중소병원 간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘, 직무스트레스, 조직몰입이 이직의도에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate workplace bullying, job stress, organizational commitment, and turnover intention as well as determine influencing factors on the turnover intention of small and medium-sized hospital nurses. Participants included 140 nurses from six small and medium-sized hospitals with less than 300 beds in G-city and J-province. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression, using the SPSS Win 21.0 program. The regression model was statistically significant (F=37.11, p<.001), and the explanatory power for turnover intention was 34.2%. The significant factors influencing turnover intention were organizational commitment (β=-.41, p<.001 and job stress (β=.25, p=.005). Human resources management is crucial for providing high quality healthcare service. The results of this study indicated that it is important to lower job stress and increase organizational commitment in order to reduce turnover intention among nurses of small and medium-sized hospitals. Based on these findings, customized programs for nurses in small and medium-sized hospitals need to be developed and implemented so as to lower their turnover intention and promote efficient management of healthcare human resources.

The Convergence Influence of Smoking, Drinking and Stress on Female college Premenstrual syndrome(PMS) (흡연 및 음주 경험과 스트레스가 여대생의 월경전증후군(Premenstrual syndrome)에 미치는 융합적 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of smoking, drinking and stress on premenstrual syndrome in female college students. From January 19 to March 1, 2017, the 218 data were collected from university students in Jeonnam, who don't have any parity and uterus disease. Analyzed using Mann-Whitney U test, simple regression analysis with SPSS23. As a result, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between stress and premenstrual syndrome($R^2=.155$, ${\beta}=.393$, p<.001). But, there was no difference in PMS level according to existence of drinking(or smoking) experience. This study had a meaningful result to figure out factors influencing on female college student PMS and offered basic data for developing premenstrual syndrome care programs and nursing intervention. To manage PMS effectively, it is nessasary to develop Convergence Nursing intervention to reduce stress.

The Relationship of Retention Intention to Job Stress of Nurses in Korean Red Cross Blood Center : The Mediating Effect of Positive Psychological Capital (혈액원 간호사의 재직의도와 직무스트레스의 관계연구 : 긍정심리자본의 매개효과)

  • This study is a descriptive research to determine the mediating effect of Positive Psychological Capital on the relationship between Job Stress and Retention Intention among nurses working at blood centers in the metropolitan area. Data were collected from 167 nurses using a structured questionnaire between May 2021 and April 2022, and analyzed by SPSS ver.25. General characteristics were analyzed through frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The relationship between Job Stress and Retention Intention was analyzed using independent samples t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation. Hypotheses were tested using hierarchical multiple regression analysis and PROCESS macro model 4. The results substantiated the hypotheses: Hypothesis 1 proposed that higher Retention Intention and Positive Psychological Capital were associated with lower Job Stress. Hypothesis 2 suggested that Positive Psychological Capital significantly partially mediates the relationship between Retention Intention and Job Stress. To promote Retention Intention among blood center nurses, it is crucial to implement human resource management systems aimed at alleviating Job Stress and enhancing Positive Psychological Capital. Specifically, enhancing Positive Psychological Capital within blood centers is particularly significant. This study contributes empirical evidence necessary for efficient personnel management and competency enhancement programs to reduce Job Stress, thereby enhancing the quality of nursing care among blood center nurses. Furthermore, it is recommended to develop intervention programs for Positive Psychological Capital to enhance Retention Intention and reduce Job Stress among blood center nurses.

  • 프리스트레스트된 프리캐스트 콘크리트 부재는 장경간이 가능하고 공장생산으로 품질관리가 용이하다. 그러나 프리스트레싱 텐던이 화재에 노출되는 경우 일반 철근에 비해 급격하게 강도를 상실해 구조물의 붕괴로 이어질 수 있다. 국내의 경우 실험에 기초한 내화성능에 대한 연구는 활발히 이루어지고 있으나 그에 반해 성능기반 설계법이 활성화 될 때 요구되는 수치해석적인 연구는 많이 부족한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 문헌조사를 통해 이전에 수행된 실험 데이터를 통해 현재 외국에서 활발히 사용되는 수치해석 프로그램을 검증하고 수치해석 모델링을 통해 각각의 내화시간에 따른 적절한 피복 두께를 제안하였다.

  • 3차원 정보모델에 기반한 설계 자동화 프로그램의 개발은 좀 더 완성도가 높은 설계안을 도출할 수 있는 방안을 제시할 수 있다. 콘크리트 교량의 설계 과정에서 정형화된 구조 검토 단계 부분을 자동화하고 설계자로 하여금 좀 더 창의적인 설계가 가능하도록 지원하는 시스템을 개발하였다. 특히, 3차원 Building Information Modeling 기반의 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 박스 거더교에 대한 설계 자동화 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 3차원 렌더링 알고리즘을 사용하여, 사용자가 원하는 단면 위치 및 분류 체계에 따라 설계를 자동으로 수행할 수 있도록 적용하였다. 또한 생성된 도면은 데이터 호환이 가능함으로써, 사용자의 편의성이 향상될 것으로 판단된다. 이는 설계자동화 분야에서 강교에 국한되었던 점을 콘크리트교를 포함한 주요 교량으로 확대하고 설계 성과품으로 3차원 모델을 도출할 뿐 아니라 2차원 도면을 연계하도록 구성하여 토목 엔지니어의 기술력을 향상시킬 것으로 기대된다.

The Relationship of Acculturative Stress, Self-esteem and Oral Management Ability of Vietnam Marriage Migrant Women (베트남 결혼이주여성의 문화적응스트레스, 자아존중감 및 구강관리능력의 관련성)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the factors influencing on the oral management ability of Vietnam marriage migrant women. The subjects of the study were extracted at randomly selected with the cooperation of the Vietnamese people 's association in D metropolitan city and the public health center in C city. The data were gathered using structured questionnaires translated into Vietnamese and oral examination, collected 85. The data was collected from June, 2016 to February, 2017. Vietnam marriage migrant women's oral management ability were found to have statistically significant difference according to staying in korea, tooth brushing frequency and experiences of oral health education. Also, as a result of path analysis, self-esteem was affected on oral management ability.
