  • 초기결함을 가진 직교이방성원통셸이 축방향스텝하중을 받은 때의 동적좌굴을 연구하였다. 원통 쉘의 운동방정식은 비선형 Donnell 방정식을 사용하였으며 변위식에는 6개항을 채용하였다. 좌굴 조건은 원통셸의 수직변위와 길이변화의 급격한 변화로써 정의하였다. 좌굴모우드형상은 초기결 함과 쉘재료의 이방성에 따라 달라짐은 발견하였고 좌굴강도는 초기결함의 증가에 따라 크게 감 소된다.

  • The objectives of this paper are to establish an equivalent magnetic circuit of the hybrid PM step motor and to apply the canonical piecewise linear eqation and the Kazenelson algorithm of solving the nonlinear magnetic circuit, so that the static holding torque and the magnetic properties of the motor are determined. The results of that are applied to the design of the hybrid step motor.

  • We proposed a new bit-rate control algorithm to improve MPEG-2 video software encoder. Bit-rate Control plays an improtant role in picture quality of MPEG-2 encoder. To achieve better encoding performance such as controlling picture quality and using bity properly, we proposed a MPEG-2 bit-rate control algorithm using linear average Step-Size. Using a benchmark Program, we compared our algorithm with MPEG-2 Test Model 5. Our proposed algorithm showed better Bit-Rate Control with respect to used bits, picture quality.

  • 본 논문에서는 PMSM의 약자속 제어 시에 적용된 과변조 기법에 따른 출력 토크 성능을 비교 및 분석하였다. 기존의 약자속 제어 시 사용되는 동적 과변조 기법 대신 정적 과변조 기법을 적용하는 경우 6-스텝 모드까지 출력 전압의 선형성이 원활하게 유지되어 전동기의 최대 출력 토크 성능을 충분히 활용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Conditions for achieving noninteraction in nonlinear multivariable systems via the decomposition of state space are well established. The main contribution of this paper is to fully characterize the class of decomposing control laws. The characterization corresponds to a family of simple control laws which are applied to a standard decomposed system(SDS). The SDS is similar to the decomposed systems of Isidori, Krener, Gori-Giorgi, and Monaco but has a finer structure. The finer structure parallels the one used by Gilbert for linear systems. A weaker form of noninteraction, based on input-output behaviour, is decoupling. Some connections between decomposition and decoupling are also established. An example illustrating the importance of the results is given.

  • The ultrasonic piezo motor is a new type motor that has an excellent performance and many useful features that electromagnetic motors do not have. But, it suffers from severe system non-linearities and parameter variations especially during speed control. Therefore, it is difficult to accomplish satisfactory control performance by using the conventional PID controller. In this paper, to achieve the precise control for linear type ultrasonic motor was analyzed as a function of response time and change with a driving time. Also, we propose controller that combines STEP controller and PD controller that have error of ${\mu}m$ about liner type ultrasonic motor.

  • 최근 변단면 거더의 경제성을 고려하여 장경간 거더 교량과 강골조 구조물에 변단면보의 사용이 증가하고 있으며, 고강도 강의 등장으로 인해 변단면보의 정확한 좌굴 강도의 평가가 매우 중요시 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 연구된 탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도에 관한 연구를 바탕으로하여 별로 비탄성 구간에 비지지 길이가 존재하는 일축대칭 I형 변단면보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도 해석을 실시하였다. 해석에는 유한요소해석프로그램인 ABAQUS(2007)가 사용되었으며, MINITAB(2006)을 이용하여 간편한 설계식을 제안하고 있다. 일단 계단식 단면을 가지는 보에 대하여 고려하였으며, 플랜지 길이 방향 비, 너비방향 비, 두께의 비로 계단식 I형 보를 나타내었다. 집중 하중을 적용시켰으며 비선형 해석을 위해 잔류응력 및 초기변형과 재료비선형을 고려하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 제안된 식은 향후 다양한 하중이 작용하는 비탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도에 대한 연구에 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

  • A new numerical algorithm using equal order linear finite element and fractional step method has been developed which is capable of analyzing unsteady fluid flow and heat transfer problems. Streamline Upwind Petrov-Galerkin (SUPG) method is used for the weighted residual formulation of the Navier-Stokes equations. It is shown that fractional step method, in which pressure term is splitted from the momentum equation, reduces computer memory and computing time. In addition, since pressure equation is derived without any approximation procedure unlike in the previously developed SIMPLE algorithm based FEM codes, the present numerical algorithm gives more accurate results than them. The present algorithm has been applied preferentially to the well known bench mark problems associated with steady flow and heat transfer, and proves to be more efficient and accurate.

  • The present paper is devoted to constructing a numerical algorithm for solving un steady problems on generation, propagation and interaction of nonlinear waves at a surface of ideal fluid, within the framework of the potential-flow model. The numerical scheme is implicit. with non-linearity iteration at every step of time. the finite-difference method with boundary-fitted coordinates are presented in favor for validity and high efficiency of the numerical model developed. Among these arguments, there are the results of calculations of two test problems-on stretching of a liquid ellipse and on wave generation by lifting a portion of a bottom.

A Study on the Anti-rolling Effect of Stem Sub-body in the Stepped-Hull Planing Boat (스텝 붙이 활주형 모터보트 선미부가물의 횡요저감효과에 관한 연구)

  • It is hard to find experimental data for a model test of small high-speed planning boats. It is difficult to verify the performance seen in a model test for a high-speed boat because the ship-model scale-ratio is very small and the flow velocity of the circulating water channel and the X-carriage speed of the towing tank are restricted. Therefore most hull-form designs for high-speed small boats depend on the sea-trial test result for similar boats or evaluation through numerical calculations. This study investigated the anti-rolling effect of the stern sub-body in a 50-knot doss planning boat. To carry out this work, new model test procedures were set up in the actual sea. Using this method, the anti-rolling effect of the stern sub-body was investigated. A stern sub-body attached to a planning boat was proved to be effective in reducing the roll and pitch angle.
