Design of Measurement Algoritms in the Smart CamRuler (스마트 CamRuler 계측 알고리즘 설계)

  • With a rapid growth of smartphone technologies, various applications are developed and diffused actively nowadays. Especially, interesting applications using camera module in a smartphone are developed continuously, mobile users are able to use various useful mobile services in humdrum life. In this paper, we design and implement measurement algorithms which precisely measure the object taken by the camera module in a smartphone. We use 3-axis gyro accelerometer sensor in a smartphone to get the distance, incline and rotation angle in a real time when we take a picture of shooting object and can obtain precise size of it in the picture image. The measurement algorithms proposed in this paper are analyzed and evaluated by a simulation study.

  • 스마트폰 앱은 다양한 목적을 가지고 개발되어 사용자에게 지식의 정보 제공뿐만 아니라 생활의 유용한 정보도 함께 제공해주고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스마트 기기의 자이로스코프 센서(Gyroscope Sensor), 마이크(Mike), 알람(Alarm) 등을 활용하여 수면건강 관리 앱을 설계 및 구현하였다. 사용자의 수면 데이터를 수집하여, 추천 수면시간을 제공 받고, 수면장애 여부 등을 판단할 수 있을 것으로 예상된다.

Development of Oil Change Warning Algorithm and Display Device (오일교환경보 알고리즘 및 표시장치 개발)

  • This paper presents an engine oil change warning algorithm based on the test results of a small dip-stick-gage-type engine-oil-deterioration-detection sensor, software to realize the algorithm and a display device to apply the software. The algorithm determines the engine oil deterioration condition from the rate of change in the dielectric constant based on the average measured capacitance at $80^{\circ}C$ after the engine stops. The rate of change in the dielectric constant at the time for oil change correlates with the time that one of recommended warning limits for engine oil physical properties such as TAN (Total Acid Number), TBN (Total Base Number) and viscosity is first reached. At this point, a warning signal for oil change appears on the display device like a smart-phone or individual display device. The frames of smartphone app have three stages. The user can directly input all of the thresholds into the frame of the smartphone app. The screen of the display device comprises one frame for each warning signature with the related message. The user can input the thresholds to the device through a USB cable connected to a personal computer.

  • Nevertheless 3D printer is propagated fast, it is difficult for us of using 3D printer at the same time because of 3D printer's slow velocity. Existing solution is to print using SD card which moves files and on PC but this method is spend too much time and can not be showed status of printing. Yet we have no 3D printer software solution which is controlled and printed remotely. Therefore, this 3D printer software solution makes 3D printer be connected on internet networks and selected to use it on smart App. And it is controlled and printed remotely. In my paper, to build an Android App. which can execute these functions, an effective analysis & design using UML and implementation method will be presented.

  • A person with defects and the lack of hearing, has very difficult problems to listen to the sound of conversation or environment, and these problems cause wrong directions in the linguistic sense and character. We designed and implemented an application to practice and correct pronunciation of a hearing-impaired person specially. This is made as a mobile app without the limitation of time and space, and this provides practices with the level of difficulty in learning of pronunciation, taking into consideration of remedial status in pronunciation. The hearing-impaired person can train the basic pronunciation and the word pronunciation. He or she can practice basic skills in pronunciation and check the record on the practice rate and the success rate. Also, the person can improve pronunciation by self-correction function using the front camera of a smart phone.

  • With the continuous increase of the senior population, it is necessary to introduce the 4th industrial revolution applied technology into the health and welfare field. In addition, a senior emergency management system centered on Nono Care is established due to the shortage of young people, which requires strategization of a welfare delivery system in which senior colleagues notify emergency relief facilities directly in case of an emergency. In this paper, senior emergency management system is designed to collect and analyze individual activities and inactivity information through senior self-learning through smartphone app and to predict emergency situations with voice and image registration information through smartphone app menu.

  • Recently, many kinds of TV contents based on multimedia need transmission systems without the saved. In this study, we develop the streaming device and smart app to transmit and play without store for multimedia contents such a broadcasting, internet, VOD, video, and animation. To do this, we compare and analysis main CPU products, broadcasting tuners and interfaces for streaming sources, and memory products. We then design and implement the streaming device which supports 30fps@FHD H.264 decoding and streaming, and multimedia sources with more than three. We develop the software for these requirements. Thissystemis useful to support billing service for multimedia contents.

  • 본 과제는 일반적인 선반 사용에 어려움과 불편함을 겪고 있는 노약자들을 위한 해결 방법으로 제안되었다. 스마트선반을 이용할 경우 스마트폰과 블루투스 연결을 하게 되며 앱과 연동하게 된다. 이때 초음파 센서가 선반과 장애자 사이의 거리를 측정하게 되며 거리 안에 들어오게 되면 스피커 모듈을 통해 알람이 울리게 되며, 시각장애인의 경우 선반의 위치를 알고 그 자리에서 원하는 선반의 층의 버튼을 누르거나 음성인식을 통하여 원하는 층을 말하게 되면 높은 위치에 있는 선반의 물건을 어렵게 꺼내지 않고도 원하는 위치에 올 수 있게 된다.
