Mathematics franchise education companies are developing various online learning systems to provide on-off integrated education to learners. Most online learning systems deliver one-way lecture content to learners and perform quantitative problem-solving learning for learning results. However, each learner has different academic achievement competencies, and it is impossible to determine exactly where the level of understanding fell when solving a math method. and based on this, establish an online learning system to discover the weak points of learners and propose an effective learner management method. Through the developed learning method and system, it is expected to cultivate balanced problem-solving ability for learners and provide differentiated brand image and counseling service to franchise companies.
The purpose of the study is to promote the expansion of educational environment and students' competence through the application of smart learning. In G University in 2017, 118 freshmen in the department of Chemical-bio engineering who were taking Calculus I class were divided into 2 groups of experimental and control group. The study analyzed the effect of the various learning experience using educational technology and the interaction in the class through SNS on students' visual understanding and academic achievement. The result shows that the students' academic achievement and satisfaction in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. This study was performed to investigate the relations between dietary habit and academic achievement, subjective health judgement, and physical status. The subjects consisted of freshmen in university and answered to questionnaires through the Internet. The questionnaire consists of the dietary habit, academic achievement (College Scholastic Ability Test), subjective health judgement, and physical status during their 3$^{rd}$ grade in high school days. Data were collected from 3,612 people. Over 33% of respondents had their breakfast daily. Subjects who had breakfast below twice per week were 37.9%. The major reason of skipping breakfast was lack of time to eat breakfast (62.8%). The subjects who recognized the importance of breakfast were 80.6% (p<0.001). More than half (52.7%) thought that dinner was most tasty. People who ate breakfast regularly had a tendency to recognize their health state were in good health (p<0.01). There was no significant difference of BMI (body mass index) according to the frequency of breakfast per week. The subjects who had their breakfast regularly and well-balanced dietary habit reported higher marks in the College Scholastic Ability Test. In contrast, the subjects who rarely had breakfast showed poor marks of academic achievement and subjective health judgement. According to these results, a good dietary habit is considered to be important to academic achievement and confidence in health. Therefore we suggest the school breakfast program and nutrition education program should be required for teenagers. In addition, the findings from this study would provide the basic information for nutrition education in Korean teenagers..
As the way to intensify vocational education, the places to learn and work merge into one educational system and teaching-learning methods that were pointed at lecturer level are adjusted to learners level. However, the current education environment of vocational highschool doesn't keep up with a new teaching and learning paradigm due to the lack of government-level support and the lecturer level education as well. In this paper, we present a novel learner-leading e-Learning teaching & learning contents framework that intensifying self leading education. In this framework, we concern the ability of self leading, space perception and lesson preparation, preferences of multimedia, scholastic aptitude level and achievement level of students in vocational highschool. Moreover, with following the protocol of the suggested model, we generate a new e-learning contents applying to the subject "Introduction to industry". Especially, to perform better quality of contents, we have survey the whole content of the subject and assorted part of it that would work best with learner-leading e-Learning teaching and learning contents. As we tentatively apply e-learning contents to students in vocational highschool, 79% of them replied that contents brought advantages to get school accomplishment, whereas 19% of students answered in negative that contents wasn't helpful than we've expected. Therefore, the statistical results probe that the e-learning contents we proposed show positive effect, and we analyzed the reasons that deteriorate the effects of contents as shortage of budget and copyright limitation.
Recently, realistic contents such as virtual reality(VR) and augmented reality (AR) are widely used for education to provide beneficial learning environments with thee-dimensional(3D) information and interactive technology. Specially, AR technology will be helpful to intuitively understand by adding virtual objects registered in the real learning environment with effective ways. In this paper, we developed an AR learning system using 3D spatial information in the 2D based textbook for studying math related to geometry. In order to increase spatial learning effect, we applied to solid shapes such as prisms and pyramids in mathematics education process. Also, it allows participants to use various shapes and expression methods (e.g., wireframe mode) with interaction. We conducted the experiment with our AR system, evaluated achievement and interest. Our experimental study showed positive results, our results are expected to provide effective learning methods in various classes through realistic visualization and interaction methods.

The purpose of this study was to look into whether this mathematising learning utilizing realistic context has an effect on the mathematical thinking. To solve the above problem, two 5th grade classes of D Elementary School in Seoul were selected for performing necessary experiments with one class designated as an experimental group and the other class as a comparative group. Throughout 17 times for six weeks, the comparative group was educated with general mathematics learning by mathematics and "mathematics practices," while the experimental group was taught mainly with mathematising learning using realistic context. As a result, to start with, in case of the experimental group that conducted the mathematising learning utilizing realistic coherence, in the analogical and developmental thoughts which are mathematical thoughts related to the methods of mathematics, in the thinking of expression and the one of basic character which are mathematical thoughts related to the contents of mathematics, and in the thinking of operation, the average points were improved more than the comparative group, also having statistically significant differences. The study suggested that it is necessary to conduct subsequent studies that can verify by expanding to each grade, sex and region, develop teaching methods suitably to the other content domains and purposes of figures, and demonstrate the effects. In addition to those, evaluation tools which can evaluate the mathematical thinking processes of children appropriately and in more diversified methods will have to be developed. Furthermore, in order to maximize mathematising for each group in each mathematising process, it would be necessary to make efforts for further developing realistic problem situations, works and work sheets, which are adequate to the characteristics of the upper and lower groups.
This study is aimed at the improvement of the teaching mathematics via the use of the mathematical history based on the learning stages which are understanding the problem, seeking after and solving the problem, application and development, and understanding the homeworks. General questions of this study are as follows according to the purpose of this study: First, we develop materials to use the teaching and learning stages which are understanding the problem, seeking after and solving the problem, application and development, and understanding the homeworks. Second, we search the effective methods for using materials which are developed in this study. Third, we apply materials to the teaching and learning mathematics. To answer the problems, 1 class students of the 4th grade in Gwangju participated in this study. Teaching and learning which uses mathematical history based on the learning stages is performed. The following results were obtained in this research. First, the teaching and learning using materials which is related to mathematical history is effective in improvement of students' mathematical ability. Second, the teaching and learning using material which is related to mathematics history is effective in improvement of students' mathematical attitude. In special, mathematical attitude of students who are involved in learning using materials which is related to mathematical history is more positive than that of general students using traditional teaching methods. Lastly, generalization of newly developed materials should be done to get more development and upgrade.
Many students have difficulty studying mathematics because of its unique characteristics and the numbers of underachievers in mathematics are increasing, not decreasing, even though great teaching-learning methods have been provided. The purpose of this research is to examine if instruction using mind-map in mathematical studies has positive effects on achievement and attitudes of underachievers in mathematics. For this, mathematics learning ability test before instruction, survey of attitudes toward mathematics before and after instruction and mathematics learning ability test before and after instruction were performed for 32 underachievers in two classes of first grade in C high school in South Chung cheong Province. The positive effects of instruction using mind-map in mathematical studies on academic achievements and attitudes of underachievers were expected, but results indicate that there is no significant effect. However, results indicate that the use of mind-map in mathematics instruction has positive effects partially on the changes of learning attitudes. Therefore, the characteristics of underachievers in mathematics should be understood first, mind-map according to them should be applied and students should have time to properly perceive and draw mind-map skillfully. In teachers' professional knowledge of mind-map and consideration for students, when follow-up researches and systematic instruction proceed together for a long period time, the desired results can be realized.
Internet was introduced to this study for making mathematics class the surroundings where students can solve the mathematics problems and communicate mathematically in a free way without restriction of time and place.
