Most construction disasters are analyzed to be human factors such as not complying with the safety regulations of construction sites, not using clothing and protective equipment, safety insensitivity, and the health of workers. In order to prevent such a construction disaster, the project site management needs to check the health of workers, but it is difficult to check the condition of workers every hour. Therefore, this paper proposed the design of digital safety-helmet that can automatically identify health conditions by checking workers $SpO_2$ and pulse rates, away from simple protective features.

In the rural communities in less-favored areas (mainly hilly and mountainous areas) in Japan, the number of settlements which cannot maintain the community functions by themselves has been increasing because of the progress of depopulation and aging, so the necessity for achieving mutual supplementation of the community function by the settlement reorganization has been increasing. This paper consists of the following three points. 1) General view of settlement reorganization policy in Japan. 2) Case study of the T district in Japan. 3) Possibility of the settlement reorganization by the policy measures which obligate community members to work together. Main results are as follows. 1) There are several settlement reorganization policy measures, but many are still the model project stage, and not yet spread, so it is necessary to wait and see how these measures will develop. 2) The number of the residents of small-scale aging settlements who do not hope for the reorganization, nor feel the necessity of reorganization shall not be few. This will make great difficulty in the settlement reorganization process. 3) A local area activity promotion conference which derives from a former administrative unit like a former village has many functions to the settlement reorganization. 4) In the rural communities in less-favored areas, the policy measures which obligate community members to work together have widely spread. These are expected to play the supplemental role for the settlement reorganization. It is necessary to discuss among residents the activation plan and the future vision of the community, as well as to discuss the settlement reorganization.

최근 이상기후로 인한 홍수, 산사태 등 자연재난 및 각종 사건사고 등 사회적 재난에 따른 인명 피해가 매년 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 특히, 재난에 대한 노출도가 높고 재난이 빈번하게 발생하는 일본, 미국과 달리 높지 않은 우리나라의 경우 실제 재난상황에 직면할 경우 상대적으로 낮은 생존율을 보이고 있으며 이러한 대표적인 사례가 바로 올해 발생한 세월호 침몰사고에 따른 인명 피해를 들 수 있다. 이에 사후약방문식으로 많은 전문가들이 체계적인 대응 매뉴얼 부재, 정부의 일사분란한 대응의 부족을 언급하고 있는 실정이나 정작 재난에 직면한 일반 국민들이 평상시에도 이해하기도 힘든 매뉴얼의 대응수칙을 재난상황에 따를 수 있을 것이라고 생각하는 것은 "재난에서 재난을 배울 수 없는" 우리나라의 현주소 그 자체를 보여주는 것이라 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 재난 발생시 신속한 대응이 가능한 수준의 직관적 재난대처 요령을 국민들에게 알려주는 것이 무엇보다 요구된다 할 수 있다.

Biometric recognition refers to a technology that identifies or verifies an individual after registering each individual's physical, physiological, and behavioral characteristics with an automated device. However, the biometric data used here corresponds to personal information since it can identify an individual. Therefore, when it is compromised or misused, it negatively affects the privacy of the data subject. In this paper, we review the current status of domestic laws related to biometric information and the status of infringements related to this. And then, some biometric application models are derived and vulnerabilities and countermeasures for each model are discussed. Finally, for the developer and service provider of the biometric system, protection guidance is presented.

Purpose: This study aimed to assess college students' knowledge, attitude, and health behavior regarding cancer based on 10 national cancer prevention recommendations and to examine the relation between these variables. Methods: The participants were 189 college students in J city. Data were collected with a questionnaire consisting of items on cancer-related knowledge, attitude toward cancer, and implementation of 10 national recommendations on cancer. The data were analyzed using independent two-sample t-test, one-way analysis of variance, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ multiple comparison test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression(stepwise) analysis with SPSS/WIN 21.0 program (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA). Results: The mean scores for knowledge, attitude, and health behavior were 23.83 points (out of a possible 32), 33.10 points (out of possible 50), respectively. Attitude was positively correlated with health behavior and accounted for 37.7% of cancer prevention health behavior. Conclusion: The findings of this study suggest that the related factors should be considered in the development and implementation of systemic education programs that can encourage and promote cancer prevention health behavior among college students.

얼굴 인식 기술들은 다양한 인공지능 플랫폼들의 발달 및 알고리즘들의 연구 개발로 인해 발전하고 있다. 대부분의 얼굴 인식 알고리즘들은 정확도를 높이기 위해 많은 양의 데이터 학습을 요구하고 잇다. 그러나 커피숍이나 음식점과 같이 사람들이 짧은 시간 머물고 있는 환경에서는 사람들의 출입 여부를 체크하기 기존의 얼굴인식 기술들을 적용함에 있어 학습량의 부족으로 부적합하다. 이에 본 논문에서 카페와 음식점의 사용자 출입 관리를 위한 단시간 얼굴 학습을 통한 얼굴 인식 시스템 구현한다. 이로 인해 카페 및 음식점의 운영자는 사용자들의 입·출입 데이터를 활용하여 테이블 회전율 분석 및 코로나19 방역수칙인 카페 2인 이상 1시간 이내 사용을 체크가 가능하다.

Although various policies have been conducted on safety work of construction equipment such as lifts, tower cranes, and mobile cranes, institutional and managerial problems, and improvement measures, accidents are still not decreasing. This study tried to identify differences in the viewpoints of supervisors, safety managers, and construction machinery operators and to obtain survey data on the awareness and necessity of related safety education. In conclusion, accidents would be reduced when workers received effective training on accurate work methods, safety rules, and recognition and removal of risk factors.

Purpose: This study examines the levels of adherence to quarantine guidelines, mental health, and instrumental activities of daily living among elderly individuals during the COVID-19 pandemic, and to identify correlations among these variables. Methods: A survey was conducted from February 28, 2023, to May 19, 2023, among 210 elderly individuals aged 65 and above residing in rural areas. The relationships among adherence to quarantine guidelines, mental health, and instrumental activities of daily living were tested using Pearson's correlation coefficients. Results: Loneliness was positively correlated with subdomains, including familial loneliness, social loneliness, and a sense of belonging, whereas depression was significantly negatively correlated with adherence to quarantine guidelines(cough etiquette, ventilation, mask wearing, and environmental disinfection) and rules of social distancing. Conclusion: Analyzing the various factors influencing adherence to quarantine guidelines among the elderly and developing and implementing intervention programs are essential for future research.

HNS, including crude oil and products, shipments have increased. The risk analysis of HNS has assumed the importance, especially in maritime transportation area. There are various forms and kinds of HNS and the consequences of an accident are serious. In order to provide practical measures for preventing accidents, this study analyses the potential risks of HNS on maritime transportation accidents at domestic sea by using Event Tree Analysis. This study carries out risk assessment with F-N curve and risk matrix focusing on liquid cargo carriers (Oil and Products Tanker, Chemical Tanker, LPG/LNG Tanker, etc.). Explosion and sinking, suffocation indicate high consequence when on collision represent high probability. Improving human errors should be the main factor to mitigate risk on human lives.
