유전자(DNA, RNA)복제 등은 이제 낯선 말이 아니다. 범죄 수사를 할 때도 'DNA 검사'를 통해 지문보다 더 정확한 증거를 찾아낸다. 하지만 이 DNA에 대한 연구가 우리 일상과 가까워지기까지는 정말 많은 과학자들의 노고를 거쳤다. 20세기 생물학의 최대 발견이라 인정받는 이 'DNA구조의 발견'의 종착역에 바로 왓슨과 크릭, 윌킨스가 있었다.

세계는 지금 소리 없는 사이버 전쟁중에 있다. 사이버테러는 물론 교묘한 해킹 수법으로 기회가 되면 상대국가의 기밀과 경쟁업체의 고급정 보를 빼가려고 혈안이 되어 있다. 이에 맞서 정보화의 어둠을 밝히려는 곳이 바로 사이버테러대응센터다. 임승택 사이버테러대응센터 장을 만나 사이버테러단과의 쫓고 쫓기는 추격전, 그리고 국내 사이버테러 수사의 수준과 향후 과제를 들어봤다.

지난 7월 중순부터 충무로 일대 출력업체들이 한국소프트웨어저작권협회(SPC ; Korea Software Proprety-right Council)직원들을 위시한 불법 소프트웨어 단속반의 출현으로 인해 때아닌 곤욕을 치르고 있다. 이번 단속은 특정회사 출력기를 취급하는 Y사가 출력기를 판매함에 있어 폰트를 불법으로 복제해 '서비스(?)'로 끼워서 판매한 것이 발단이 됐는 데 Y사 관계자는 지난 10월에도 SPC에 의해 수사 의뢰되어 해당 지방 경찰청의 조사를 받은 바 있는 것으로 알려져 있다.

수사기관이 운영하는 포토라인이 피의자 망신주기용이며 헌법상 무죄추정의 원칙에 반하므로 없애야 한다는 주장과 국민의 알 권리를 위해 포토라인은 반드시 필요하다는 주장이 대립하고 있다. 포토라인의 문제를 헌법상 무죄추정의 원리와 알권리를 중심으로 합리적 해결방안을 모색해보고자 한다.

The nature of deaths occurred at sea may be revealed the differences from that in the land, but there is no comprehensive statistical analysis of deaths occurred at Korean Sea so far. Therefore, the cases of deaths or missing in the period 1993 - 2006 were analyzed by the cause, place of death, and results of preliminary investigation. In the period from 1993 to 2006, over 1000 peoples were died or missing every year. The cases of marine safety accidents including self-carelessness and mishap were approached over 60% and cases of homicide were less than 1%. The closure cases of preliminary investigation were reached over 70% and the most of deaths occurred in fishing vessels (the range of 20 ~ 99 tonnage). The suspension cases of preliminary investigation were reached to 70% of all missing and drowning cases. The results showed that the most of deaths occurred at sea could be prevented by the safety regulations including mandatory report of accidents, marine safety education and training, punishment the people responsible for the accidents. For the unidentified bodies, data should be collected and recorded for the future identification. The crime scene investigators should be trained to ensure the quality of their professional skills regularly.

Cartoon, which has the longest story among comics' kinds, has absorbed adults into the audiences by current cartoon based on satire. Nowadays cartoon is trying to represent not only current issues but also everyday things and spread out the formal fields through the media; for instance, Web-toon, Mobile-toon, or Object-toon. However cartoon is not commercialized compare to comics in spite of the tries. Thus this thesis aims at suggestion of the possibility in commercializing cartoons by researching object cartoon newly being tried. So to speak, in order to revitalize commercializing cartoon, the purpose of this thesis is to bring up the commercialization methods of object cartoon which is able to express messages in various ways on rhetoric.

In this paper, we describes a system that extracts important sentences from Korean newspaper articles using automatic paragraphing. First, we detect repeated words between sentences. Through observation of the repeated words, this system compute Closeness Degree between Sentences(CDS ) from the degree of morphological agreement and the change of grammatical role. And then, it automatically divides a document into meaningful paragraphs using the number of paragraph defined by the user´s need. Finally. it selects one representative sentence from each paragraph and it generates summary using representative sentences. Though our system doesn´t utilize some features such as title, sentence position, rhetorical structure, etc., it is able to extract meaningful sentences to be included in the summary.
