  • 국방 분야에서 전술작전센터를 구성하는 전술작전통제 플랫폼은 다양한 내/외부 체계 시험 장치를 연동하여 교전/작전 통제를 수행하는 플랫폼이다. 기존의 전술작전통제 플랫폼은 서로 다른 환경에서 개발된 시험 장치 소프트웨어를 통합 구축하는데 어려움이 있으며, 플랫폼을 구성하는 서버 자원의 탄력적 분배가 불가능하다. 본 연구는 전술작전센터를 구성하는 전술작전통제 플랫폼을 오픈스택 클라우드 및 KVM 하이퍼바이저를 기반으로 구축하여 내/외부 체계 시험 장치 소프트웨어의 실행 환경을 가상 머신으로 제공하였으며, 가상 머신 간 고속 데이터 통신을 위해 데이터 분산 서비스 및 10Gbps 이더넷, QDR 인피니밴드 네트워크를 활용하였다. 또한 오픈스택 클라우드 기반 전술작전통제 플랫폼의 네트워크를 구성하는 10Gbps 이더넷 및 QDR 인피니밴드 네트워크상에서 데이터 분산 서비스의 성능 평가를 수행하였다.

A design and implementation of an in-service software upgrade technology to provide a seamless networking services (무중단 네트워킹 서비스 제공을 위한 서비스 중 소프트웨어 업그레이드 기술 설계 및 구현)

  • In general, software upgrade technique is needed to add new features or fix bug of software on a network devices. However, the problem is that the software must be upgraded after the termination of networking service to replace new package. An ISSU(In-Service Software Upgrade) technique is used to solve such the problem. ISSU is a technology to upgrade the software without interrupting the network service or an offline network equipment. In this paper, to provide a seamless networking service, we design and implement an architecture to apply ISSU technique to a network operating system. In this paper, we use high-availability feature in N2OS which has been developed by ETRI. In addition, in order to verify that the implemented ISSU function is operation properly, we proceed to test using a test environment based on a virtual machine.

  • The use of computers as part of nuclear safety systems elicits additional requirements-software verification and validation (v/v), hardware qualification-not specifically addressed in general industry fields. The computer used in nuclear power plants is a system that includes computer hardware, software, firmware, and interfaces. To develop the computer systems graded with nuclear safety class, the developing environments have to be required in advance and the developed software have to be verified and validated in accordance with nuclear code and standards. With this requirements, the test facility for Inadequate Core Cooling Monitoring System (ICCMS) as one of safety systems in the nuclear power plants was developed. The test facility consists of three(3) parts such as Input/Output (I/O) simulator, Plant Data Acqusition System (PDAS) cabinets and supervisory computer. The performance of the system was validated by manual test procedure.

  • MATLAB Autocode generation is a feature that converts a block diagram model in Simulink to a c program. Utilizing this function makes MATLAB/Simulink an integrated developing environment, from controller design to implementation. It can reduce development cost and time significantly. However, this automated process requires high reliability on the software, especially the original Simulink block diagram model. And thus, the verification of the codes becomes important. In this study, a UAV flight program which is generated with Simulink is validated and modified according to DO-178B. As a result of applying the procedures, the final program not only satisfied the functional requirement but is also verified with structural point of view with Decision Coverage 93%, Condition Coverage 95% and MC/DC 90%.

  • Software based fault tolerance techniques are designed to allow a system to tolerate software faults in the system. Fault tolerance techniques are divided into two groups : software based fault tolerance techniques and hardware based fault tolerance techniques. We need a proper design method according to characteristics of the system. In this paper, the concepts of software based fault tolerance techniques for Dual Flight Control Computer are described. For software based fault tolerance design, we classified software failure, designed a way for failure detection and the way of recovery. Eventually the effectiveness of software based fault tolerance techniques was verified through the Software Test Environment(STE).

  • 최근 국방 분야는 모델링 및 시뮬레이션 기술을 활용한 시뮬레이터 개발 사업을 늘리고 있으며, 특히 실 환경에서 시험하기 어려운 다양한 기능과 성능을 시험하기 위해 무기체계 시뮬레이터와 실 장비를 상호 운용할 수 있는 방안을 마련하고 있다. 본 논문은 함정에 탑재되는 대공유도무기체계 개발에 필요한 시뮬레이션 환경을 구축하는데 있어 시뮬레이션과 실환경을 상호 운용할 수 있는 시뮬레이터 설계 방법을 다루며, 특히 소프트웨어로 구현된 다양한 센서 모델과 실 환경에서 운용되는 레이더 및 표적기의 통합 운용이 용이한 센서 시뮬레이터의 구조를 보여준다.

  • Avionics OFP runs on the mission computer and can be operated by interacting with several avionics equipments. In order to verify OFP SW, SIL having real avionics equipments or models is absolutely necessary. Therefore in many cases SIL is implemented concurrently with OFP developing, and only one SIL is provided to developers. So developers sometimes need an alternative to SIL for verifying requirements in the middle of development process. In this paper, we propose a single PC based STE SW that simulates interworking equipments and verifies OFP in a single PC environment without actual interworking equipments or SIL HW interfaces.

  • In this paper, we design, validate and implement WTP(Wireless Transaction Protocol) using SDT(SDL Design Tool). We do modeling WTP protocol by SDL(Specification and Description Language), design and implement the environment function for the interface between the SDL system and the UDP platform and design APIs(Application Programming Interface). And we do conformance testing for WTP protocol software using ITEX(Interactive TTCN Editor and eXecutor). We write ATS(Abstract Test Suite) by TTCN(Tree and Tabular Combined Notation) and make ETS(Executable Test Suite) by the TTCN compiler supplied by ITEX.

  • CFD analysis is an analytical technique that applies a computer to the design and development of products across the entire industry for heat or fluid flow. This technology is used to shorten the development period and reduce costs through computerized simulation. However, the software used for CFD analysis is now required to use expensive foreign software. The Opensource CFD analysis software used in the proposed system has reliability of commercial CFD analysis software and has various user groups. However, for users who have expert knowledge, Opensource CFD software which supports only text interface environment, We have developed an environment that enables the construction of a CFD analysis environment for beginners as well as professionals. In addition, the proposed system supports the pre-processing (design and meshing) environment for CFD analysis and the environment for post-processing (result analysis & visualization), enabling the integrated CFD analysis process in one platform.

  • 웹/인터넷의 등장 이후, IT환경에서는 웹 사이트 수, 사용자 수의 폭발적인 증가로 하드웨어와 소프트웨어의 구성이 복잡하게 되었다. 적용 업무의 장애가 발생시에 신속하고 정확한 장애원인을 파악하기가 어려워진다. 따라서, 웹 어플리케이션에 맞는 전문적인 성능 테스트와 성능 관리가 필요하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 웹 어플리케이션의 특성에 맞는 성능 시험 평가 모델을 제시한다.
