  • Most of air pollution in a metropolis is the result of exhaust gas emissions from automotive vehicles, and the world-wide regulation against environmental pollution is becoming more strict. Moreover the demand on development and supply of an environment-friendly automobile is increasing and the market share about that is expected to grow rapidly in this time of high oil price. The secondary batteries the most important component to store the electrical energy in hybrid electric vehicle. It needs to the higher power characteristics to emit the energy instantaneous. In this paper, we proposed the system to monitor reliably the charge and discharge states of the secondary batteries for hybrid electric vehicle. The material is about SW and HW module the software and hardware module mounted on the charge and discharge system and the monitoring system to control the charge and discharge performance effectively.

  • Map is information media for human life. Recently, innovative map making technology has been developed and most updated various data are provided to map users. In consequence, use of maps is rapidly increasing in various applications. One of the examples is car navigation map because navigation maps provide reliable and necessary information with convenient way. Therefore, maps are to be changed to user-oriented from map making-oriented design. The main goal of spatial data infrastructure is to allow various users to access the real world information easily for decision making. However, most of the digital maps are focused on map making aspect such as providing up-to-date data, acquisition of accurate data with state-of-the-art technology, and addition of layers (For example, ortho-images and DEMs). If map data processing tools are to be provided with the digital maps, users could utilize maps for decision making without professional software or knowledge. Therefore, objective of this paper is to propose scheme of the digital map data processing service with application examples.

  • Rectangular waveguide slot antenna which has simple structure, high efficiency, high trust and small size, is extending in a field of application such as many Radar and Microwave communication. A slot cut into a wall of waveguide is propagated electromagnetic wave to free space it interrtupts the flow of current inner conductor of waveguide. Therefore incident of slot, cutdepth, width, length, i.e. are important parameter of characteristic change of the slot antenna. Result from difficulty of theoretical analysis about slot frequently experimental measured data useful design and manufacture have been accomplished. In this paper, we find the suitable method of analysis that compare two analysis results with measured result of established literature - admittance of slot be solved by propagated power from electric field distribution of slot and mode current computation and accomplishment of computable chart which hasresonant length and cutdepth, incident of slot, i.e. and use the HFSS which applyed finite-element method obtain equal slot analyed method.

  • Memory error debugging is one of the most critical processes in improving software quality. However, due to the extensive time consumed to debug, the enhancement often leads to a huge bottle neck in the development process of mobile devices. Most of the existing memory error detection tools are based on static error detection; however, the tools cannot be used in mobile devices due to their use of large working memory. Therefore, it is challenging for mobile device vendors to deliver high quality mobile devices to the market in time. In this paper, we introduce "PinMemcheck", a pin-based memory error detection tool, which detects all potential memory errors within $1.5{\times}$ execution time overhead compared with that of a baseline configuration by applying the Pin's binary instrumentation process and a simple data structure.

  • Recently, the importance of supplying the reliable electric power is increasing. therefore, the importance of diagnosis of power equipments is increasing also. Breaking insulation of stator windings is major cause of faults in high voltage generators. On-line PD (Partial Discharge) detection using Capacitive Coupler at stator windings is used widely to diagnose high voltage generator. However, precise PD(Partial Discharge) detection is impossible if detected signals are mixed with PD and noise signal. In this paper, we analyze detected signals using Capacitive Coupler at 13[kV] hydroelectric generator stator winding and suggest not hardware method but noise elimination algorithm for detecting PD of generator stator winding considering relation of periphery signals.

Design and Implementation of Air Vehicle Test Equipment for Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (무인항공기 점검을 위한 비행체점검장비 설계 및 구현)

  • Unlike manned aerial vehicles, because an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has a limitation which allows only remote test during flights, it is very important to maintain the high reliability of the vehicle through pre- and post-flight tests. To this end, this paper designed an air vehicle test equipment (AVTE) for UAV which meets the derived hardware and software requirements. Based on this design, the AVTE was implemented in accordance with the actual test scenario. The implemented AVTE has the advantage of reducing the time and cost required for the test of UAV by allowing the operator to perform automatic or manual tests for necessary parts in various situations such as before and after starting engine and pre- and post-flight tests. Furthermore, this study is expected to help with the design and implementation of AVTE for other UAVs.

  • As browsing and sharing multimedia contents through various social network services have become very common these days. there has been a rising demand for effectively provide appropriate multimedia contents to users depending on their interest and characteristics. Especially, considering the enormous volume of multimedia contents created daily, user satisfaction heavily depends on effective selection of appropriate multimedia contents. For instance, if the acquisition of contents is based on friends or related people, then it is usually considered to be more trustworthy. Facebook page is one of the social spaces where people can obtain various information of interest. Still, users have difficulty in finding proper information because Facebook generates tremendous amount of data daily. In this paper, we proposed a scheme to extract and select Facebook page contents effectively. In our proposed scheme, users are grouped based on mutual intimacy and Facebook pages of interest are selected based on the ranking of importance. We show the performance of our scheme through experiments.

Uncertainty Assesment for Moving-boat ADCP Discharge Measurements by GUM Framework (GUM 표준안 기반 이동식 ADCP 유량 측정 불확도 평가)

  • 하천에서 평수기 유량측정은 도섭법을 이용하기 위한 지점식 측정보다는 초음파 도플러 유속계(ADCP, Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler)를 보트에 탑재하여 운용하는 측정 방식이 점차 일반화되고 있다. ADCP는 초음파의 도플러효과를 이용하여 수심이나 횡방향의 유속 분포를 측정할 수 있는 측정 장비로 일반적으로 사용되는 down-looking ADCP는 수심방향의 유속분포와 수심을 측정하여 보트의 이동속도와의 벡터 내적을 이용하여 유량을 산정하게 된다. 그러나, 이동식 ADCP 유량 측정 성과의 불확도는 제공되지 않고 있는 상황인데, 이는 불확도 산정 표준안 미비, 유속 및 수심 등 측정 요소의 관측 환경 별 불확도 정보 부족, 불확도를 산정할 수 있는 툴의 부재 등에 기인한다. 본 연구에서는 이동식 ADCP 불확도 산정 표준안을 개발하고 현장 실험을 통해 불확도 요인에 대한 규명, 불확도를 편리하게 산정할 수 있는 툴을 개발하고자 하였다. 불확도 산정 표준안으로 최근 WMO를 위시한 국제적으로 하천 유량 측정 불확도 표준안으로 채택되고 있는 GUM(Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty Measurement)을 기반으로 이동식 ADCP 유량 산정 알고리즘을 적용하여 불확도 적용 기법을 개발하였다. GUM 표준안을 기반으로 유량 측정불확도를 산정하기 위한 불확도 요인분석은 실규모 하천의 특성을 대부분 모의할 수 있는 한국건설기술연구원의 안동하천실험센터에서 수행된 실험자료를 기반으로 다양한 인자들에 대한 요소 별 불확도 분석을 수행하였다. GUM 표준안에 의하면 불확도 요인들은 오차전파의 법칙에 기반하여 전체 불확도에 전파되며, 이렇게 합성된 불확도는 t-분포의 신뢰수준 95%일 경우의 보정계수 2를 곱하여 최종적으로 확장불확도를 산정하게 된다. 이동측정방식의 ADCP의 경우 GUM 표준안에 적용하여 불확도를 평가하기 위해서 사용되는 수식이 방대하고, 매우 복잡하기 때문에 이를 실무자가 평가하기에는 한계가 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구에서는 ADCP의 유량 측정불확도를 보다 편리하게 평가하기 위하여 ADCP 유량 측정불확도 평가 소프트웨어인 AQUA(ADCP Discharge Uncertainty Assesment)를 개발하였으며, 이를 통해 실무자나 연구자들이 ADCP의 불확도 평가에 보다 편리하게 접근할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

Automation System for Sharing CDM Data (CDM 데이터 공유를 위한 자동화 시스템)

  • As the need for sharing for research purposes in the medical field increases, the use of a Common Data Model (CDM) is increasing. However, when sharing CDM data, there are some problems in that access control and personal information in the data are not protected. In this paper, in order to solve this problem, access to CDM data is controlled by using an encryption method in a blockchain network, and information of CDM data is recorded to enable tracking. In addition, IPFS was used to share a large amount of CDM data, and Celery was used to automate the sharing process. In other words, we propose a multi-channel automation system in which the information required for CDM data sharing is shared by a trust-based technology, a distributed file system, and a message queue for automation. This aims to solve the problem of access control and personal information protection in the data that occur in the process of sharing CDM data.

Synchronization Method Design of Redundant Flight Control Computer for UAV (무인기를 위한 이중화 비행제어컴퓨터의 동기화 설계)

  • A flight control computer(FLCC) applied to an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) is a safety-critical item, and which is designed in a multiple structure to increase the reliability of operation by securing fault tolerance. These FLCC of multiple structure should be designed so that each independent processing/control components can perform the same operation at the same time. And for this reason, a synchronization algorithm for synchronizing the operation between FLCCs should be included in an operational flight program. In this paper, we propose a software design method for synchronization between dual FLCCs applied to UAVs. The proposed synchronization method is designed to synchronize using only the minimum hardware resources to reduce a failure rate. In addition, the proposed synchronization method is designed to minimized synchronization errors due to a timer operation by designing in consideration of operation characteristics of the hardware timer used for the synchronization.
