차량용 터보차져의 소음도표 작성 및 응용 (Noise Diagram of an Automotive Turbo Charger and Its Applications)

  • A test facility which can simultaneously measure turbocharger operating condition variables and vibro-acoustic emission in the situations that are quite similar to real internal combustion engine operating conditions has been introduced. Using this facility, a new method sweeping from full open throttle to deep surge region along constant speed curves can be utilized instead of the stationary method that has been traditionally used to obtain turbocharger compressor maps. Data covering an extensive range of the compressor performance map have been collected and analyzed. An experimental study is performed to define a noise diagram that correlates vibro-acoustic measurements to aerothermodynamic operating conditions. An instrumentation set in the facility allows the automatic definition of the operating point on the turbine and compressor map of the turbocharger. Also, radiated sound pressure and casing vibration data corresponding to the point are obtained by a microphone in the vicinity of the compressor casing and an accelerometer on the casing. The major source(s) of noise at specific operating point on the map can be easily identified with these maps. Also, acoustic characteristics of a given turbocharger at the vicinity of the surge as well as in the surge are also defined. Finally, the possibility to define mild surge region of a turbocharger using vibro-acoustic measurements is studied.

  • Dynamic stability of a rotary oscillating cantilever beam is presented in this study. Using the stretch deformation instead of the conventional axial deformation, three linear partial differential equations are derived from Hamilton's principle and transformed into dimensionless forms. Stability diagrams of the first order approximate solutions are obtained by using the multiple scale perturbation method. The stability diagrams show that relatively large unstable regions exist near the combination of the first chordwise bending natural frequency and the first stretch natural frequency. This result is verified by using the generalized-${\alpha}$ method.

  • The wave analysis of cylinders combined rigidly with a finite plate to identify the effect of the plate on the wave propagation. This paper uses the mobility and impedance coupling method to combine a infinite-length cylinder with the plate, and obtains the coupling forces induced by the vibration of the structure. The waveguide finite element method is used to calculate the wave characteristics of the cylinder excited by the forces. From the results, the dispersion diagram can be obtained. It contains the characteristics induced by the vibration and length of the internal plate. It also shows the wave propagation of elastic waves sustained in the cylinder.

  • The vibration of a flexible cantilever tube with nonlinear constraints when it is subjected to flow internally with fluids is examined by experiment and theoretical analysis. These kind of studies have often been performed that finds the existence of chaotic motion. In this paper, the important parameters of the system leading to such a chaotic motion such as Young's modulus and coefficient of viscoelasticity in tube material are discussed. The parameters are investigated by means of a system identification so that comparisons are made between numerical analysis using the parameters of a handbook and the experimental results. The chaotic region led by several period-doubling bifurcations beyond the Hopf bifurcation is also re-established with phase portraits and bifurcation diagram so that one can define optimal parameters for system design.

디스크 런아웃에 기인한 브레이크 스퀼소음 (Brake Squeal Noise Due to Disk Run-out)

  • This paper deals with a squeal noise in a brake system. It has been proved that the squeal noise is influenced by the angular misalignment of a disk, disk run-out, with the previously experimental study. In this study, a cause of the noise is examined by using FE analysis program(SAMCEF) and numerical analyses with a derived analytical equation of the disk based on the experimental results. The FE analyses and numerical results show that the squeal noise is due to the disk run-out as the experimental results and the frequency component of the noise equals to that of a disk's bending mode arising from the Hopf bifurcation.

  • 1. 연구목적 : 외형적 특징을 통한 사상체질진단을 연구하기 위한 목적이다. 특별히 상안부에서 모아레 영상을 이용한 형태학적 차이를 찾고자 하였다. 2. 방법 : 1996년 4월부터 1997년 2월까지 경희의료원 부속한방병원 왜래환자 및 직원을 대상으로 설문지 및 임상적치료 경과를 통하여 체질적 경향성이 뚜렷한 대상자를 선별하였다. 이들을 동일촬영 조건을 통하여 얻은 얼굴 사진중 형태특이자를 제외한 113례의 모아레 사진을 분석하여 50항목을 측정하고 70항목의 공식을 제작하여 체질별 상이점을 도출하였다. 3. 결과 : 상안부 모아레 영상을 분석하여 체질에 따른 특징은 따로 도표로 제시한다. 4. 결론 : 소양인은 태음인 혹은 소음인에 비하여 좌측상안의 일부가 전방으로 돌출되었고, 태음인은 좌우측 상안의 비교에서 우측상안의 일부부위에서 소음인 혹은 소양인에 비하여 전방으로 돌출되었다. 모아레 영상을 이용하여 체질에 따른 상안부의 형태학적인 특징을 도출하였다.

심층혼합처리공법으로 개량된 복합지반의 응력분담비에 대한 사례 연구 (Case Study of Stress Concentration Ratio of Composite Ground Improved by Deep Cement Mixing Method)

  • 심층혼합처리(deep cement mixing, DCM)공법은 두꺼운 연약지반을 개량하는 공법 중 하나이다. 이 공법은 저소음, 저진동으로 공해가 적고 단시간에 큰 강도를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있다. DCM공법과 같이 연약지반 개량 후 복합지반이 형성되는 지반의 침하량 산정을 위해서는 응력분담비의 결정이 필요하다. 이 연구에서는 DCM공법으로 개량된 복합지반 거동특성을 이해하기 위하여 모형재하시험을 실시하였다. 모형시험에서 측정한 토압과 침하량, 그리고 기존 제안도표를 이용하여 응력분담비를 산정하였는데 응력분담비는 각각 35.4, 28.6, 27.02로 DCM 개량체에 큰 응력집중이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 기존 연구결과에 의한 응력분담비(26.52, 32.5)와 비교할 때 유사한 값을 갖는 것으로 나타났다.
