컴퓨터와 사용자와의 효과적인 정서적 상호작용의 도구로서 의인화된 형태의 인터페이스 에이전트의 정서 표현에 대한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 기존의 연구는 의인화된 인터페이스 에이전트가 어떤 정서를 표현하는가에 초점을 두고 있다. 그러나 인간과의 원활한 정서적 상호작용에 영향을 미치는 것은 어떤 정서인가의 문제만이 아니다. 인간은 타인의 상황과 정서에 공감하는 방식으로 정서를 표현하는 상대를 더 긍정적으로 평가한다. 또한 공감하는 방식의 정서 표현은 사회적으로 적용되는 성별 고정관념에 따라 여성적 속성으로 분류된다. 따라서 공감하는 방식의 정서 표현이라 하더라도 표현의 주체가 남성이냐 여성이냐에 따라 상대방의 인식이 달라질 수 있다. 본 연구는 인간간의 사회적 관계에서 일어나는 공감적인 정서 표현과 표현하는 주체의 성별의 효과가 인간-인터페이스 에이전트간의 상호작용에서도 나타나는지를 검증하기 위하여 참가자와 인터페이스 에이전트가 함께 게임에 참여하는 과제를 실시하고 인터페이스 에이전트의 성별, 참가자의 성별, 얼굴 표정과 말을 통한 정서 표현의 공감 여부(타인의 상황에 공감하는 정서 표현 - 자신의 상황에 대한 정서 표현), 정서 표현 여부(얼굴 표정과 말로 정서를 표현 - 정서가 배제된 무표정과 말)에 따라 인터페이스 에이전트에 대해 참가자가 지각한 배려, 호감, 신뢰, 지능, 지배, 순종이 어떻게 다른지를 측정하는 실험을 실시했다. 그 결과, 타인의 상황과 정서에 공감하는 방식으로 정서를 표현하는 에이전트의 배려, 지능, 순종적 성향을 높게 평가하는 것으로 나타났다. 남성 에이전트의 경우, 정서를 표현하거나 정서가 배제된 표현을 하는 조건에 관계없이 참가자가 지각하는 배려와 호감의 차이가 없었으나, 여성 에이전트의 경우 정서를 표현하는 조건에서 배려와 호감이 높은 것으로 평가되었다. 반대로 참가자가 인터페이스 에이전트에 대해 갖는 신뢰에 대해서 여성 에이전트의 경우, 정서를 표현하거나 정서가 배제된 표현을 하는 조건에 관계없이 참가자가 느끼는 신뢰의 차이가 없었으나 남성 에이전트의 경우, 정서가 배제된 표현을 하는 에이전트에게 더 높은 신뢰를 보였다. 또한 남성 참가자에 비해 여성 참가자가 에이전트의 배려, 호감, 지능, 순종을 높게 평가하는 경향을 보였다. 본 연구의 결과는 사용자와 인터페이스 에이전트 간의 원활한 정서적 상호작용을 위해서는 어떤 정서를 표현할 것인지 뿐만 아니라 누구에 대한 정서를 어떻게 표현하는지, 정서를 표현하는 에이전트가 남성인지 여성인지, 에이전트와 상호작용하는 사용자가 남성인지, 여성인지를 고려할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.

A player character has a significant influence on immersion. In order to understand the consumers, it is necessary to compare age and gender of player characters, which is the most basic feature of the player character. We selected a prize winning work of 15 years of USA and japanese as research subjects(in RPG and Adventure), classified age and gender of player characters and analyzed the result. In the japanese games, the ratio of pre-set player characters was 94.3% for age and 88.6% for gender. In the USA games, It was the order of the pre-set character which did not specify the age and the customized type character. In this research, we would like to contribute guidelines for player character setting to successfully advance into the USA and Japanese game market.

영상에서 사람의 얼굴 영상을 추출하여 성별 및 연령대를 자동으로 분석하는 시스템은 광고판 등을 이용한 마케팅, 보안, 통계 분야 등 여러 가지 적용이 가능하다. 이러한 시스템의 개발을 위해서는 얼굴 인식 알고리즘과 특성 분류 알고리즘이 요구된다. 그러나 기존 알고리즘의 경우 문제점이 존재한다. 얼굴 인식 알고리즘으로 가장 많이 사용되는 HAAR 특징은 오탐률이 높으며, 특성 분류 알고리즘으로 사용하는 Fisherface 기법의 경우 분류 Class가 3가지 이상시 분류 성공률이 현저히 떨어지는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이 두 알고리즘의 문제점을 개선한 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 얼굴 인식을 위해 기존 HAAR 특징과 LBP 특징을 결합하여 오탐률을 크게 감소시켰다. 또한 특성 분류를 위하여 3 Class 이상의 분류를 대체할 방법으로 2 Class-multi-level 반복 분류방식을 사용하였다. 대량의 데이터에 대한 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법이 기존 방법들보다 성능이 향상되었음을 보인다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate students' mental models and alternative conceptions about the Earth's interior. A total of 126 10th grade students participated in this study. They were requested to draw Earth's interior tasks and were interviewed about their mental models. A coding frame was designed to classify the students' drawings and interview responses, and then a four step cognitive model was established based on the frame of coding. In addition, the relationship of mental models was compared in terms of students' gender, and the type of alternative conceptions was analysed. The research results showed a variety of alternative conceptions on the interior of the Earth. The classified mental models showed naive mental model (11%), unstable mental model (81%), conceptual model (8%), while 69% of all sampled students accounted for the static process. The gender difference in the cognitive model showed no statistical significance.

곤충을 연구재료로 하여 생리활성을 가지는 펩타이드 및 단백질에 관한 연구는 최근에 상당히 활발히 진행되고 있는 실정이다. 그들을 그 생리활성별로 크게 분류하면 다음과 같이 3종류를 들 수 있다. (1) antibacterial and antifungal proteins. (2)neuropeptides. (3)proteases.이 외에도 곤충으로부터 성장호르몬, lectin, pheromone 및 변태에 관계되는 단백질을 분리 정제하여 그들의 생화학적 특성에 관하여 보고하고 있으나 본 총설에서는 위의 세 가지에 대해서 다루었다.

본 논문에서는 얼굴 인식 기술과 SNS 정보를 이용하여 사람의 얼굴을 기준으로 사진들을 효과적으로 분류하고 검색할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다. 얼굴 인식 기술을 이용하여 촬영된 사진의 분석을 통해 얼굴로부터 나이, 성별, 안경 착용 유무, 웃는 얼굴 판단 등의 의미적인 정보를 추출한다. 또한, 얼굴 인식을 통해 얻은 SNS 정보에서는 이름, 생일, 학력, 직업, 고향, 관심 분야, 종교 등의 개인적인 정보를 추출 할 수 있다. 추출한 정보를 이용한 효과적인 사진 분류 및 검색을 통해 사용자의 편의를 극대화하였다. 본 논문에서는 구글 안드로이드 기반의 스마트폰에서 제안한 사진 자동 분류 및 검색 시스템을 구현하였다.

The aim of this study was to determine what kinds of an effect on dietary behaviors of elementary school students in seoul by gender. So this survey is classified into nutrition knowledge, food habit dietary behaviors. Nutrition knowledge is different from gender, male is scoring 6.90 out of 10 and female is scoring 7.03 out of 10. Food habit is also different from gender, male is scoring 4.17 out of 10 and female is scoring 4.79 out of 10. Dietary behaviors also female is better than male. This result shows that food service should be more highly satisfied with the food service quality than the food service quantity.

The purpose of this study is to investigate whether there are differences in academic self-efficacy and test anxiety between two groups(depending on gender and English achievement levels) of Korean middle school students. The subjects are 98 students who are 36 male and 62 female students. Two Questionnaires were administered to measure the learners' academic self-efficacy and test anxiety level. And the collected data were analyzed by t-test to examine the differences between two groups. The results of this study showed that there were statistically very significant differences in academic self-efficacy and test anxiety between two(male-female) groups. But there were no differences statistically in academic self-efficacy and test anxiety between two(high level-low level) groups. Further studies need to be conducted carefully considering the limitations of this study in terms of its instruments and subjects. Also the differences in other affective variables between two groups need to be studied in the future.

사상의학은 개인별 체질의 분류에 따른 맞춤형 의학으로 우리나라 고유의 독특한 전통 의학이다. 이와 같은 사상의학에서 가장 중요하게 여겨지는 것이 사상체질의 정확한 분류이다. 따라서 사상체질 분류에 대한 객관적 요소의 확보 및 진단 지표 마련이 시급하게 해결되어야 할 과제이다. 이를 위해 본 논문에서는 사상체질 분류의 객관화, 정량화 및 시각화를 위해 얼굴 영상 신호와 음성 신호를 분석하여 결과값을 추출하고 체질별 집단군간의 차이점을 비교하여 사상체질 분류 시스템을 구현하고자 한다. 특히 영상 및 음성 신호는 성별, 연령별, 지역별 등의 구분에 따라 달라지기 때문에 본 논문에서는 40에서 50대 사이의 장년 여성을 대상으로 서울지역 거주자에 한해 사상체질 집단군을 구성하고 이들의 영상 및 음성 신호를 추출하여 체질간 비교, 분석을 수행하고자 한다. 최종적으로 실험을 통한 연구 결과의 유의성을 입증하고자 한다.
