In order to find out perception of group home for the people with disabilities worker on sexual behavior of adults with developmental disabilities in a holistic way, This study conducted in-depth interviews with six research participants using Giorgi's phenomenological study method to understand the meaning of perception of sexual behavior of adults with developmental disabilities. According to data analysis, these experiences appeared as two thematic themes: 'sexual trouble behavior' and 'perception of sexuality'. Two sub-themes of 'Excessive expression of sexual desire', 'Improper sexual behavior that can lead to sexual offenses' were derived from the essence theme of 'sexually problematic behavior' and 'perception of sexuality' were derived from the essence theme of 'lack of suitable solution', 'conditions that are not enough to have sex appeal', 'frustrated sexuality', 'some dilemma problem', 'sexuality that is not different from non-disabled', and 'love and sex are ok, pregnancy and marriage are no'. Based on this, group home caregivers contribute to their role as the main agents who reinforce and reproduce the sexual norms of adults with intellectual disabilities, while at the same time they experience confusion in their values about sexual norms of people with intellectual disabilities. Based on the results, We discusses the major intervention plan for education programs to enhance the competences of group home caregivers in order to form a holistic perspective of group home caregivers in sexuality of people with intellectual disabilities, and provide rational solutions.

Laryngeal cancer is the commonest of all head and neck malignancies and, in Korea, constitutes approximately 2.3% of all malignancies among males. Survival rate is rather higher than any other head and neck malignancies. Treatment results of 121 laryngeal cancer patients were analyzed. 1. Glottic region 44%, supraglottic 41%, subglottic 8%, transglottic 7%. 2. Rate of cervical metastasis according to T stage was 19% in T2 stage, 47% in T3 stage, 69% in T4 stage. 3. Overall 3-year NED survival rate was 65% and showed stage I 93%, stage II 76%, stage III 63%, stage IV 53%. 4. Glottic cancer showed much better prognosis(3-year NED 82%) than supraglottic cancer(3-year NED 58 %). 5. According to treatment modality, complication rates in surgery with postoperative radiation was higher than in surgery along and disproportionally higher in salvage surgery after failed curative radiation.

An anterior glottic web can be congenital or develop as a result of trauma. The congenital webs indicate failure of normal separation of the two vocal cord primordia and the cicatrical membrane caused by accidental and operative trauma. When the web is small it rarely produces significant sympto-matology but larger webs may produce stridor as well as hoaresness in various degrees. Achievement of epithelialization of the anterior commisure after excision of a web, thus preventing adhesions from forming between the denuded vocal cords, is the principle underlying the surgical treatment of anterior glottic webs. Recently the authors experienced a case of anterior glottic web which occured in a 23 year old man after repeat removal of a papilloma several times in child-hood. The patient received treatment of a web excision followed by placement of a gold keel between the cords in the anterior glottis.

본 논문에서는 이성간의 대화에서 여성을 상대로 이성에 대하여 관심이 있을 경우와 관심이 없을 경에 따른 성문 특성변화를 비교 연구하였다. 대화내용을 녹음한 음성신호의 분석을 거쳐 얻어낸 결과로부터 보면 여성은 자신이 관심을 갖지 않는 상대에 대하여서는 17.2％ 미만의 응답을 보여주는 반면 관심이 있는 상대에 대하여서는 45.1％ 좌우 또는 그 이상의 응답을 보여주고 있다. 대화 내용의 음성신호를 스펙트로그램으로 표현 하였을 경우 성문 특성의 변화는 매우 뚜렷하다. 주파수 측면으로부터 보면 여성은 관심 있는 이성과 대화할 경우 200Hz에서 450Hz 좌우의 기본 주파수 폭을 이루게 되지만 관심이 없는 상대에 대해서는 200Hz에서 320Hz 정도의 기본 주파수 폭을 나타내게 된다. 따라서 이성간 대화에서 이러한 성문 특성의 변화를 이용하여 상대방 호감도를 측정할 수 있는 제품 개발에도 본 논문에서의 연구내용이 용이하게 쓰일 것으로 예상하고 있다.

It was demonstrated that the glottal waves are different depending on a kind of vowels in deriving the glottal waves directly from Korean vowels/a, e, I, o, u/ w, ch are recorded by a male speaker. After resynthesizing vowels with five simulated glottal waves, the effects of glottal wave shape on the speech synthesis were compared with in terms of waveform. Some changes could be seen in the waveforms of the synthetic vowels with the variation of the shape, opening time and closing time, therefore it was confirmed that in the speech sysnthesis, the glottal wave shape is an important factor in the improvement of the speech quality.

SVAPI 1.0 환경에서의 어구 종속 화자 확인 시스템에 대해 기술한다. 구현된 시스템은 궁극적으로 공중 전화망 응용이 가능한 실용 시스템을 목표로 개발되었으며 이를 위해 SVAPI 위원회에 의해 제안된 SVAPI 1.0을 개발 환경으로 사용하였다. SVAPI는 객체 지향 구조, 클라이언트-서버 및 telephony 환경의 지원등이 특징이며 어플리케이션과 엔진을 독립적으로 개발할 수 있는 이점을 제공한다. 구현된 데모 시스템은 펜티엄 프로세서와 Windows95/NT 4.0 운영체제 그리고 Win16/Win32 API를 통해 제어 가능하며 음성 입력이 가능한 디바이스를 장착한 IBM 호환 PC이다. 화자의 성문 등록은 화자가 동일한 어구를 3회 발성하여 이뤄지며 등록과 확인의 응답속도는 모두 1초 이내이다. 소프트웨어의 구성은 크게 어플리케이션과 어구 종속 화자 확인 엔진으로 구분할 수 있으며 엔진은 끝점 검출 알고리즘, 음성 특징 추출 알고리즘 그리고 연속 HMM 기반의 화자 성문 모델 등록 및 유사도 계산 등을 포함한 확인 알고리즘으로 구성되어 있다. 화자의 성문은이름과 같은 약 3음절 이상의 단어로 등록되고 테스트되었다. 엔진의 객관적인 평가를 위해 전화선을 통해 남자 6명, 여자 3명의 화자로부터 자신의 이름을 각각 40회 발성하여 구축된 음성 데이터 베이스를 사용하였으며 실험 결과 남자는 2.85%, 여자는 2.44%의 EER을 각각 얻었다.

Measurement technology related to vocal cord disease is in a late state of technology accumulation, and electroglotograph(EGG) measuring equipment is dependent on foreign production. This paper seeks to design a wearable wireless electrical gate conductivity measurement terminal capable of easily measuring and monitoring the vibration state of the vocal cords, that is, the contact pattern of the vocal cords, which is important in vocalization.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of curative radiotherapy in the management of supralottic cancer. Materials and Methods : Twenty-one Patients with squamous cell carcinoma of the supralottis were treated with radiotherapy at Gyeongsang National University Hospital between 1590 and 1994. Median follow-up period was 36 months and 95% were observed for at least 2 years. Results : Actuarial survival rate at 5 years was 39.3% for 21 patients. The 5-rear actuarial survival rate was 75.0% in Stage I, 42.9% in Stage II, 33.3% in Stage III and 28.6% in Stage IV(p=0.54), The 5-year local control rate was 52.0% for 21 patients. The 5-rear local control rate was 75.0% in Stage I, 57.1% in Stage II, 66.7% in Stage III, and 28.6% in Stage IV(p=0.33). Double primary cancer was developed in 3 patients and those were all esophageal cancers. Conclusion : In early stage(Stage I and II) supralottic cancer, curative radiotherapy would be a treatment of choice and surgery would be better to be reserved for salvage of radiotherapy failure. In advanced stage(Stage III and IV), radiotherapy alone is inadequate for curative therapy and combination with surgery should be done in operable patients. This report emphasizes the importance of esophagoscopy and esophagogram at the follow-up of patients with supralottic cancer.

성인에 있어서 급성 후두개염의 발생빈도는 점차 증가하고 있다는 보고들이 있다. 일명 성문상부염(supraglottitis)이라고도 불린다. 이는 비단 후두개뿐만 아니라, 성문상부 구조물의 광범위한 염증을 흔히 동반하기 때문이다. 항생제의 발달로 과거와 같은 심각한 호흡곤란및 급성 상기도 증상을 일으켜, 기관지 절개술 등을 필요로 하는 경우는 많이 줄었다 하더라도 여전히 급성상기도 폐쇄를 일으킬 수 있는 응급질환 중의 하나이다. 저자들은 최근 18년동안 본교실에서 급성 후두개염으로 진단받고 치료받은 성인환자 103례중 77례를 대상으로 후향적으로 임상적 특징, 검사소견, 치료성적 등을 비교, 분석하였다. 문헌고찰과 아울러 보고하고저 한다.

다양한 성대의 진동 형태와 조절 작용을 연구하기 위해서 실시간에서 움직이는 인공성대를 만들어 모델의 타당성을 검토하고 이를 이용하여 생리적 음성과 병적인 음성의 기전을 밝히는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 지금까지 연구되어온 정적 모델이나 후두절개 표본의 단점과 한계를 극복할 수 있는 모델을 제작하기 위해 고려해야 할 점은 모델을 이용한 성대 진동 파형의 수평적 수직적 요소의 관찰이 용이해야 하고 성대진동의 기본 요소들 즉 성대의 긴장도, 성문간격, 성문하압 등의 변화에 따른 음성 발현 양상의 차이를 쉽게 보여줄 수 있는 지에 관한 것이다.
