Association-Based Conceptual Modeling for Smart Database Design (스마트 데이터베이스 설계를 위한 연관성 기반 개념적 모형화)

  • Data redundancy is problematic in that it not only induces heavy storage management cost but also could bring critical degradation of information systems. Unfortunately, to our knowledge, only few enterprises willingly afford time and efforts for the faithful conceptual design to prevent the degree of inappropriate data as much as they could, while most of enterprises pay rare attention to the notion of that sort of data quality. Wondering if there would be any other way to design the enterprise.wide data design without prior knowledge about business works is our major motivation for this study. In this paper, we present our data modeling methodology in which associations among objects in each sentences of a business job descriptions are treated as the focal point in database design. A proposed agent for automated design tool simply takes a business job description written in natural language as an input, and then designs an entity relationship diagram with some smart rules. We introduce the scope of the proposed agent and its detailed logics with several examples. And then, we verify the appropriateness of the resulted associations among objects. Lastly, we perform case studies to evaluate the devised agent's applicability to a business field.

  • Recognizing that the fundamental cause of construction safety accidents was a lack of safety management activities in the planning and design phases, the government made the Design for Safety (DFS) system mandatory in May 2016. However, awareness among ordering parties and designers regarding this system is significantly low, and the system has not been properly established due to reasons such as the need for additional work and a lack of professional manpower. In this study, the awareness of ordering parties and designers of the DFS system was analyzed through a survey, various problems in DFS work execution were identified and measures for improvement were presented. Measures to improve the efficiency in DFS work execution involve the discovery of risk factors and establishment of countermeasures, and here the establishment of a DFS work support system that enables the sharing of information between institutions is the most urgent priority. In addition, it is also urgently necessary to establish a dedicated organization in charge of DFS work, cultivate professional manpower, develop the relevant education programs and establish a proper cost calculation standard for DFS work execution by design offices.

Smartwork Application & Effects: Empirical Test for the Extended Work Design Theory (스마트워크 적용과 효과: 업무 설계 이론을 중심으로)

  • Under ubiquitous work environment, innovative changes occur in work process with ICT. The work process for collaboration through mobile devices and network should be investigated. The research model consists of two major antecedents: autonomy and interdependence as a task characteristic and job satisfaction as ultimate consequence followed by work design theory. To elaborate work design theory, smartwork application (app) use, communication extent, and work-life balance were reviewed from the literature. Data were collected from three ICT firms, which adopted certain smartwork app, and a partial least squares analysis was made on 175 data points. The analysis results show that task interdependence exerts a statistically significant effect on the level of smartwork app usage. Communication extent directly affects job satisfaction and work-life balance. The remarkable point is that smartwork app usage does not affect employees' work-life balance; the former can only affect the latter indirectly by increasing communication extent. This study attempts to explain the organizational impact by considering smartwork app and the effects simultaneously. We proposed and empirically tested the extended work design theory including information technology and its environment. Based on the results, other theoretical and practical contributions are discussed at the end with limitations and further studies.

  • This project is to design and to implement an cornputenzed acquisition system by structured analysis technique for the Yomi university library. In result of desgmng, we added three subsystems, whlch are accession control, account, and print out system, to DOBIS/E acquisition system because we found that our DOBIS/E acquision system is able to use as we do ordenng and receiving in traditional process. DOBIS/E system and three added subsystems is closely related, and allow acquisition librarians to work more efficiently than before.

  • 현재의 대부분의 기업에서는 효율적인 자원관리와 정보유통을 위해 그룹웨어 시스템을 도입하고 있다. 대부분의 그룹웨어 시스템에서는 전자결제, 정보공유, 문서관리의 기업일반적 또는 보편적 업무에 안는 시스템이 대부분이다. 따라서 각 기업에 맞는 전문적 업무지원을 위해서는 다른 추가 시스템 도입이 필요하며, 시스템 도입에 따른 비용이 발생된다. 본 논문에서는 선박업 관련 T컨설팅업체의 그룹웨어에 선박정보관리의 전문적 업무 지원이 가능하도록 설계, 구현하였으며 이 시스템은 추가 시스템 도입에 따른 비용발생과 자원낭비를 줄이고 기존 그룹웨어 시스템에 업무지원까지 가능하도록 통합한 형태의 시스템이다.

  • 본협회가 75년도의 중점사업으로 추진 인가신청 한바 있는 건축사업무 및 보수기준개정안이 75. 12. 15일자 건설부고시 제197호로 인가되어 76년 1월1일부터 시행하게 되었다. 1966년 7월5일 건설부장관인가로 시행된 보수기준은 68년11월 71년 1월 2차에 걸쳐 부분적 인 개정이 있었으나 요율이 개정된 것은 이번이 처음으로서 이번 개정인가된 보수기준의 특징은 종전기준에서는 분리되어 있던 설계와 감리보수요율이 ‘설계감리보수료율’로 단일화되어 공사감독 으로 그릇 인식되었던 공사감리가 공사감독이 아닌 설계의 연장으로 정당한 인식을 받게하는 계기가 되었는바 건설부고시내용과 ‘건축사업무 및 보수기준’은 각각 다음과 같다.

  • 케이블 엔지니어링 업무는 각종 전기 설계 결과물을 토대로 작성된 각종 데이터를 활용하여 각종 기기들을 연결하는 케이블과 이를 위한 전선로 등을 설계하는 업무를 의미하며, 아울러 전기 Bulk Material의 구매와 시공관리를 종합적으로 지원하는 전기 분야의 주된 업무이다. 따라서 좀더 완벽한 설계와 효율적인 시공 관리를 위해서는 이를 전산화 할 필요가 있다. 본고에서는 SCEP의 주요 기능과 입출력내용 등을 소개하였다.

  • Recently the role and the importance of design value engineering is expected to be high, so research is needed for its effective accomplishment. But in domestic arena, the introduction of the history of design value engineering is too short and insufficient in act of research. Therefore in this research we have suggest the standard for the effective accomplishment of design value engineering work. The way is the abstraction many causes. firstly, we analyzed the team project case of value engineering professional instruction. second, we analyzed the cause of problem produced in accomplishment process of design value engineering work through research for the professional field. So from the base of the analyzed content, we have suggest main control factor for the effectiveness of design value engineering work and the following scheme and process of work efficiency optimization.

  • 제품 개발 환경을 자세히 들여다보면, 고객의 요구 또는 창조된 새로운 제품의 컨셉(Spec)을 사람(개발자)이 도구(설계경험, CAD)를 이용해서 업무수행절차(업무처리규정, 부서별 역할)에 따라 제품을 정의(모양, 크기, 구조)하는 것을 설계행위로 볼 수 있고, 이러한 활동의 결과로써 도면 Mock-up, 각종 Document가 만들어지고 이러한 매체가 부서간, 업무공정간 의사소통의 수단으로 이용되고 있다. 여기서 CAD를 없애서는 안될 개발의 도구로 인식하고 이용하는데, 일반적으로 경쟁력있는 제품을 개발하기 위한 노력의 일환으로 3차원 CAD시스템을 도입하여 적용해 오고 있다. 현재의 3차원 CAD시스템들은 공통적으로 솔리드(Solid) 근간에, FEATURE 개념을 수용하면서 PARAMETRIC 또는 VARIATIONAL 모델링 기법을 채택하여 설계자들에게 다양한 기능을 제공하고 있다. 그러나 3차원 CAD 시스템을 적용하여 만족할 만한 결과를 얻어내기란 간단한 문제가 아니다. 본 고에서는 당 사업장에서 개발한 무선전화기 및 FAX에 3차원 설계를 적용한 사례를 중심으로, 3차원 설계에 대한 허와 실을 살펴보고 3차원 설계가 나아가야 할 방향에 대해 생각해 보고자 한다. 참고로 당 사업장은 디자인, 기구설계, 금형설계까지는 I-DEAS, CAM 작업은 CATIA를 이용하고 있다.
