  • In this study, a configuration design of a CH4/LOx small rocket engine was made and test system was established for the performance evaluation. A coaxial swirl injector was chosen because of its remarkable atomization performance and low combustion instability. Three aspect ratios for the combustion chamber configuration, i.e., 1.5, 1.8, and 2.1 were also set for the comparison of the combustion efficiency. The reliability of the thrust measurement rig was enhanced by pre-and post-calibration process. From the preliminary ground hot-firing test, the measured thrust and specific impulse values were 89.2 N and 181.8 s, respectively, which were 21.6% lower than the ideal values. In addition, the efficiency of characteristic velocity was measured as 84.2%.

  • This paper represents the development of a CLS(Control Loading System) for a target a airplane (KT-1) with mechanical linkage reversible flight control system. The system is composed of mechanical frame, controller, sensing part to measure the force from the stick, driving system generating the reaction forces. The DS1103 DSP(Digital Signal Processor) of the dSpace Corp. was used as the controller. The control algorithm of the CLS and the operational environment including monitoring software and evaluation tools are described. The evaluation of the system was conducted according to the requirement specification. The results of the test were analyzed by comparing with the actual data of the target airplane.

  • Performance evaluation was carried out for the 70 N-class hydrazine thruster whose design performance had been already verified. The pulse-mode firing test was conducted for the development model thrusters with various thrust chamber diameters. Evaluation was made by the performance parameters such as specific impulse, impulse bit, and characteristic velocity, etc: specific impulse and characteristic velocity were deteriorated as the thrust chamber diameter deviates from a standard model. Consequently, it is revealed that the performance characteristics of standard model is most superior among the test models.

  • URC robot offers necessary service anytime and anywhere by using a network to the robot, expanding the applicable service, keeping all the functions in itself, it undertakes functions for the causing problems through the network. URC software components are composed of HRI(Human Robot Interaction), robot action technology and others. We analyze the quality models based on ISO/IEC 9126, define URC components evaluation specification consists of 4 parts such as generic rule, instance rule, evaluation value and test method. And we define the quality process and test case design for URC, and show a testing and evaluation process for URC components.

  • Smart skin, a multi-layer structure of composed or different materials, was designed and fabricated. Tests and analyses are conducted to study the characteristics of its behavior under compression and bending loads. The designed smart skin failed due to premature buckling before compression failure. It was confirmed that shear moduli of honeycomb core affect structural stability of smart skin. A new test method and device were designed fur better measurement of shear moduli of honeycomb core. Numerical prediction of structural behavior of smart skin by NASTRAN agreed well with experimental data.

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 원자력 발전소용 고압케이블의 열화평가를 위해 열적, 화학적 시험을 진행하였다. 최근 설계수명이 종료되는 원자력 발전소와 케이블들에 대한 열화평가 연구가 시작되고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 기초연구 수준에 머물러 있기 때문에 체계적인 열화평가 이루어지고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내 원전 고압케이블의 열적, 화학적 시험을 통해 기초 물성자료를 구축하고 열화평가에 이용하기 위해 본 시험을 수행하였다.

  • LED를 구동하기 위하여 여러 가지 주변회로를 하나의 IC로 통합한 Driver IC는 최근 LED의 효율의 증가와 더불어 다양한 사용처의 발생으로 인하여 그 종류가 다양해졌다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 다양한 Driver IC들의 특성을 평가하기 위한 방법 및 다양한 Application의 적용을 통한 Driver IC의 성능을 평가하였다. Driver IC의 기능성과 내구성을 판단하기 위한 시험들을 진행하였다. 여러 종류의 LED를 사용하여 Driver IC의 성능을 평가하였다. Driver IC에 원하는 동작을 구현하고자 하는 제어회로 부분도 설계하여 다양한 특성들을 분석할 수 있도록 하였다. 3종류의 응용제품을 구현하여 적용의 사례로 검토하였고 각각의 응용제품의 경우 필요한 기능들에 대한 분석도 실시하였다. 전체적으로 반도체 IC 시험규격에 의한 신뢰성 시험도 일부 실시를 하여 신뢰성에 대한 부분도 평가를 진행하였다. 이를 통하여 Driver IC의 필요요소에 대한 부분들을 결정하였다.

  • 본 연구는 유아용 시트 고정 장치 커버의 개폐 시 사용자가 느끼는 물리적 영향도와 감성적 영향도의 상관관계를 분석하여 주요설계인자와의 관계를 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 커버의 형상이 각기 다른 차종을 선정, 주요설계인자에 대한 치수를 측정하고, 시험기를 이용하여 개폐 시 사용자에게 가해지는 물리적인 힘을 측정하였다. 또한, 감성평가 체크리스트를 통한 사용자의 감성평가도 실시하였으며, 감성평가의 기준은 힘평가(힘만 고려한 평가)와 감각평가(힘을 제외한 평가)로 분리하여 평가하였다. 정리하면 기계적으로 측정된 물리적 힘과 감성에 의한 힘평가의 결과값을 비교 분석하여 두 측정값의 상관관계를 분석하고자 하고, 또한 감성평가 중 힘평가와 감각평가 사이의 관계도를 분석하여 주요설계인자에 대해 어떠한 감성적 영향을 미치는 가를 알아보고자 한다. 최종적으로 유아용 시트 고정 장치의 최종 제품에 대해 감성을 고려한 설계인자를 제공하고자 한다.

Exploring Ways to Improve Science Education Area Exam in Secondary School Teacher Employment Test (중등 과학과 교사임용시험의 교과교육학 시험 개선 방안 탐색)

  • This study explores the characteristics and ways to improve the area of science education in secondary teacher employment test (hereafter, TET). We investigated ways to differentiate second-phase science education tests from those of the first phase in the TET, and ways to improve practical tests such as designing instructional plans, teaching demonstrations, in-depth interviews, and science experiment tests. Major findings of the study include increasing the proportion of teaching demonstration while maintaining the test of designing instructional plans, which have a different focus from the paper-based exam in the first phase of the TET. Teaching demonstration tests, applying the credit of student-teaching to the TET, assessing teaching expertise in real classroom contexts focusing on subject teaching expertise, etc. along with science experiment tests, making the science experiment test compulsory for all municipal offices of education, and the necessity of evaluating the experimental design and teaching of scientific inquiry. Based on these results, developing and implementing tests such as teaching demonstrations, in-depth interviews, etc. at the local municipal education offices, introducing the apprentice teacher system, and introducing graduate schools of education were suggested.

A Study on the Behaviour of Prebored and Precast Steel Pipe Piles from Full-Scale Field Tests and Class-A and C1 Type Numerical Analyses (현장시험과 Class-A 및 C1 type 수치해석을 통한 강관매입말뚝의 거동에 대한 연구)

  • In this study, a series of full-scale field tests on prebored and precast steel pipe piles and the corresponding numerical analysis have been conducted in order to study the characteristics of pile load-settlement relations and shear stress transfer at the pile-soil interface. Dynamic pile load tests (EOID and restrike) have been performed on the piles and the estimated design pile loads from EOID and restrike tests were analysed. Class-A type numerical analyses conducted prior to the pile loading tests were 56~105%, 65~121% and 38~142% respectively of those obtained from static load tests. In addition, design loads estimated from the restrike tests indicate increases of 12~60% compared to those estimated in the EOID tests. The EOID tests show large end bearing capacity while the restrike tests demonstrate increased skin friction. When impact energy is insufficient during the restrike tests, the end bearing capacity may be underestimated. It has been found that total pile capacity would be reasonably estimated if skin friction from the restrike tests and end bearing capacity from the EOID are combined. The load-settlement relation measured from the static pile load tests and estimated from the numerical modelling is in general agreement until yielding occurs, after which results from the numerical analyses substantially deviated away from those obtained from the static load tests. The measured pile behaviour from the static load tests shows somewhat similar behaviour of perfectly-elastic plastic materials after yielding with a small increase in the pile load, while the numerical analyses demonstrates a gradual increase in the pile load associated with strain hardening approaching ultimate pile load. It has been discussed that the load-settlement relation mainly depends upon the stiffness of the ground, whilst the shear transfer mechanism depends on shear strength parameters.
