This research aimed at investigating the relation between police officer's organizational learning and organizational effectiveness based on hypothetical model about the influence of police officer's organizational learning on organizational effectiveness. In order to achieve this purpose, the researcher selected 163 police officers as the test group, who are in active service at Gwangju District Police Agency from July 14~August 15, 2013. As the sampling method, the researcher used random sampling method and conducted a survey based on self-administrated method, and the finally analyzed data was analyzed through SPSS for Win Version 17.0 statistical program. The research results are as follows. First, it was comprehended that police officer's higher level of organizational learning influenced organizational commitment more, lower factor of organizational effectiveness, significantly. Second, it was analyzed that police officer's learning ability significantly influenced job satisfaction, lower factor of organizational effectiveness, besides organizational commitment.

The purpose of this study is to improve the effectiveness of the e-journal process in libraries and information organizations by identifying the relative priority of each criterion in the e-journal consortium. To identify criteria in the process, this study employed a content analysis of previous studies on e-journal and consortium. A total of 73 criteria were found, and these were classified into three categories and 21 sub-categories. Then, the relative weight of each criterion was calculated using an AHP technique. This technique is one of useful tools for collecting experts' opinions. The AHP findings indicated that the cost of the e-journal was the most important criterion in the e-journal consortium. This is followed in priority by users' needs, usage statistics, and others. Using these findings, librarians and information professionals might be able to identify priorities in the e-journal work process, and to improve the effectiveness of the process.

The scale of national research and development work is expanded gradually and grows bigger, so necessity of building system rises to guarantee more objective and fairer selection of business and clarity of budget administration according to active progress of convergence between study territories. In the study, standard frame work is suggested for information connection between dissimilarities, and based on this work; the study considers the system for information connection of digital budget accounting system handling budget and accounting of national finance and national science technology knowledge information system that is in charge of result administration and result evaluation of national research and development work, so suggests application plan of standard frame work connected with information solving current state and problems for connection.

This paper presents a method for the simultaneous optimal design of structural and control systems. Sensitivities of performance index with respect to structural design variables are analyzed. The structural design variables are optimized to minimize the performance index by use of conjugate gradient method. The method is applied to a half model of an active vehicle suspension system with elastic body moving on a randomly profiled road. The suspension control force of an optimally controlled system in the presence of measurement errors are calculated by use of linear quadratic Gaussian control theory and Kalman filter theory. The performance index contains ride comfort, road holding and working space of suspension. The structural design variables taken are stiffness, daming properties and the position of the suspension system. The random road profile considered as colored noise is shaped from white noise by use of shaping filter. The performance of an optimal simultaneous structure/control system is compared with that of an optimal controlled system.

This study performed an appreciative inquiry into models of instruction for the community learning. For this purpose, this study examined the principle of learning, instruction models for community learning, and appreciative inquiry. Next, draft appreciative inquiry models were built based on the principle of instruction models for the community learning. The previously designed appreciative inquiry models were revised and complemented through expert investigation by a focus group interview. This paper proposes a process of seven steps core learning activities. The seven steps were selecting a theme, interviewing for finding success story, analyzing an organization's success stories and deriving the core values, deriving future of the organization, sharing future of the organization, designing the ideal future of the organization consist of a practice, implement, and reflect. Because the proposed seven steps process is based on the literature and focus group interview, a follow-up study will be needed to verify the result.

The aim of this study is to examine the efficiency of ethylsilicate consolidants on sandstone according to its weathering state for an appropriate application to stone cultural heritage in Yeongyang area. Yeongyang area had sandstone and conglomeratic sandstone cultural heritages which needed conservation intervention due to granular disintegration and scaling on their surface. Hyeonri Three-storied Pagoda having typical stone materials in this area was investigated for the analyses of the material and deterioration. And both in-situ and laboratory applications of consolidants were conducted to the outcrop which had the same characteristics of rock type and weathering grade. As a result of the application, it was concluded that Wacker OH 100 and Remmers 300 showed the most appropriate consolidating effect, and Remmers 300 was the most effective to strengthen the loosen and granular-disintegrated surface of the sandstone.

In this study, we have developed a retirement coaching model for effective retirement planning by applying systematic conversation of the coaching technique. A draft of the retirement coaching model was complemented by the validity verification of experts. The retirement coaching model can be summarized as follows. The first step, rapport and empowerment(RE), consists of sharing the image of a happy retirement after establishing a rapport between the coach and the people wanting to prepare for retirement. The second step, target establishment(T), consists of setting the theme and goals of the conversation. The third step, identification(I), consists of developing a retirement plan for achieving the established goals. The fourth step, realization(R), consists of establishing a concrete schedule and a method of retirement planning. The fifth step, evaluation(E), consists of sharing impressions during coaching sessions, which facilitates future action plans.

Purpose: In order to manage the steep slopes effectively, this study diagnose problems in the procedure of steep slopes management and propose Improved frame work is intended to mitigate human and property damage Method: Problems in the system are drawn through review of procedures for designation of collapse risk zones and fied investigation, interviews with local governments, and expert advice. Result: The selection stage, the subject of the management, the management method, and the factors that need to be improved by the management stage before the evaluation are derived. Conclusion: This paper identified the problems raised and drew improvements and presented the research direction for the development of the new system (plan) and the steep slope site.

The purpose of the study was to analyze how organizational learning of police officers affects empowerment components as this learning method works as a way to maximize the police organization. In order to achieve the research goal, the study selected a total of 170 police officers on duty in Gwangju Metropolitan Police Agency as a research subject for a month from July 14, 2013 to August 15. The subjects were selected via the random sampling method and were told to participate in a survey of a self-administrated method. A total of 163 (95.5%) references were used for the final analysis. The collected data was processed with SPSS for Win Version 18.0 and the variables were went through Pearson's Correlation Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The results are summarized as follows. First, a hypothesis of "how social demographic characteristics have a different influence on organizational learning and empowerment" was partially confirmed. Second, another hypothesis of "how organizational learning affects empowerment of the members" was adopted.
