The research tools were investigated online with the type of personality of the Enneagram of Joo (2003) and the consumption pattern of Jeon (2013). The data analysis utilizes statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, frequency analysis, and one-way ANOVA in the IBM SPSS Statistics 23 program. For consumption patterns 1, 2, 3, and 6, there were statistically significant differences between personality types 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9 (p<.050). Through this study, it was confirmed that consumption patterns vary depending on the type of personality of the Enneagram. The results of this study are expected to provide basic data in establishing effective strategies for branding and advertising of the design that consumers want.

Satisfaction of major showed statistically significant differences in professional identity (F=19.97, p<.001). Professional identity was positively associated with resilience (r=.30, p<.001) and negatively associated with emotional labor (r=-.35, p<.001). Multiple regression analyses showed that satisfaction of major and emotional labor were statistically significant (𝛽=-.268, p<.001) in predicting professional identity with the explanatory power of 29.3%. To enhance professional identity in nursing students, it is necessary to develop strategies to improve their satisfaction of major and to provide educational programs for coping skill in managing their emotional labor in clinical practice.

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of a web-based senescence preparation program for the provision of information and education on aging. A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The subjects were 70 middle-aged adults (experimental group: 36, control group: 34) living in Daegu city. The experimental group participated in a web-based senescence preparation program for 10 weeks, where 10 subjects were covered (5 physical, 3 mental/psychological, and 2 social/environmental). As compared to the control group, the knowledge of the experimental group increased significantly, and there was a significant change in their attitudes toward the elderly and old age plans. These results suggest that a web-based senescence preparation program can predict people's old age and help in their preparation. Further, this program is expected to offer individualized learning opportunities to many learners in various settings.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the causality between life satisfaction and domain satisfactions. For this study, data were collected from 207 respondents. They completed World Health Organization Quality of Life Assessment Instrument - Brief (WHOQOL-BREF) which is self-report questionnaire asking about life satisfaction and domain satisfactions. For data analysis, the verification procedure by autoregressive crosslagged modeling of structural equation was used. The analysis results of measures showed the causal relation between the two variables, that is, domain satisfactions acted as cause of life satisfaction. There were discussions on the issues about the analysis method of the autoregressive crosslagged modeling, the implications of the results, and the limits of the research. This study ascertained the intervention direction between life satisfaction and domain satisfactions to promote life satisfaction.
