The purpose of this study was to explore the lived experiences of university students who were placed under academic probation. A qualitative research design was used to understand the experiences of students. The data were collected using individual in-depth interviews with 4 students who had experiences of low academic achievements at least once during 5 semesters. Low self esteem was the main issue in this study and inner struggles were identified within 4 themes: Outstanding students controlled by helpers; A costume play as a outstanding student; Realize that I am a under academic achiever; Realize who I am and what I have to do. This study identified that low academic achievement brings to low self esteem seriously, however, human being has strong resilience in the traumatic circumstances. Thus, it is absolutely necessary devoting efforts to develop suitable student supporting programs in the way of inner and outer network systems.
The purpose of this study is to examine the system of the Jeokbyeok-ga's version using the Computer analysis technique of bibliographies and to examine the achievements of the Jeokbyeok-ga's version studies. First, in order to provide basic data for analysis, a raw corpus was constructed for 46 species of Jeokbyeok-ga. Through this, the common narrative units of the Jeokbyeok-ga were identified as 5 layers, and thus 146 individual paragraphs could be extracted. Based on the encoded corpus, we tried to measure the similarity and the distance between the two. Next, we applied the Multidimensional scaling method, Hierarchical cluster analysis and Cladistic analysis method of the system to confirm the distribution of versions group and it was possible to visually grasp the distance between versions and the system of the work. As a result of analyzing Computer analysis technique of bibliographies, it was found that version's group of the Jeokbyeok-ga was divided into a Wanpan(完板) series and Changbon(唱本) series. Also, it was possible to examine the influence relationship between the Pansori's traditions and transmission.
From 1949 to 1966, after the new China was established, in order to consolidate newborn regime and erect national image, "proletariat revolutionary education" had become the main way of literary and artistic creation in the new era. This study aims to analyze a cafe built by reflecting the characteristics of Jeju among the cafes in Jeju. This is to provide practical help to prospective prep entrepreneurs who want to start a cafe in Jeju. The cafe reflecting the characteristics of Jeju maintains its own competitiveness and constant interest of tourists by securing differentiation and uniqueness. In addition, by looking at the characteristics of Jeju applied to cafe architecture, the academic foundation for understanding the Jeju and applicable characteristics of Jeju were summarized. The study was conducted in parallel with literature analysis and on-site analysis, and as a result, the following contents were found. First, it is a reflection of Jeju's phenomenal materiality. Second, it is a reflection of Jeju's interpretive everyday life. Third, it is a reflection of Jeju's materiality time. In this regard, if prep entrepreneurs start a cafe that reflects the characteristics of Jeju, they can create a cafe with very specific characteristics if they integrate the three characteristics above.
The purpose of this study was to compare storytelling with TV entertainment programs to find out which elements of web entertainment affected the shift of viewers' interest, and to identify the characteristics of web entertainment storytelling. To this end, each of the web and TV entertainment programs were selected for storytelling analysis, and storytelling analyzed the contents of each item by dividing them into images, backgrounds, stories, and characters. As a result of the analysis, unlike TV programs, web entertainment storytelling allows viewers to immerse themselves in content through a composition that runs directly from the beginning to the crisis, and is characterized by a clear formation in a short video through a clear ending narrative. These research results hope that short-form web entertainment programs produced in the future will be able to identify strategies for viewers' immersion and storytelling strategies.
Concerning the differences in the tales between the Investigation of Historical Remains of Patriarch Jinmuk (hereafter, IHRPJ), as well as those which appear in Jeungsanist Thought and Daesoon Thought, previous studies view such differences as Jeungsan's intentional modification of the original intent of the narratives or as indicating differences in beliefs and values. This style of interpretation seeks to reconcile both Korean Buddhism and Jeungsanist and Daesoon Thought based on the premise that the former and the latter two exhibit differences in values. This study accepts the above view of the differences in description according to values. However, the differences between the tales of Jinmuk that appears in IHRPJ versus those in The Canonical Scripture can be approached from a new perspective, i.e., the differences that exist between literary and oral traditions; rather than only stemming from potential differences in the world views espoused by Buddhism and Daesoon Thought. These refer to the IHRPJ, which was constructed first as literary narratives in the 19th century; however, there was also folklore that had been handed down from the 18th century. As a result of examining the relationship between Jinmuk and Bonggok via this interpretive horizon, the contents of the IHRPJ are found to reflect the values and intentions of the intellectual class, such those held by Master Cho-ui and Kim Ki-jong, whereas oral traditions can be seen as a reflection of the hopes of the people of the late Joseon Dynasty. Jeungsan should also be interpreted as having utilized folklore in his teachings. Meanwhile, the circumstances and intentions behind publishing the IHRPJ are analyzed in the context of the text's historical background and the relationship between Confucianism and Buddhism during the 16th through 19th centuries. In particular, through the Compilations of Wandang and the collection of writings of Buddhist monastics, I have evaluated that Confucianism needed to purify and correct materials according to the ideology of the times in order to promote a spirit of morality and courtesy. Likewise, Buddhist Master Cho-Ui also embellished records to benefit Buddhism and deleted oral records that could harm the reputation of Buddhism. On the other hand, when viewing Records of Shrine Renovation and existing oral traditions, it can be shown that some Jinmuk tales existed in the 18 th century which were not included in the IHRPJ. Thereby, Jeungsan's description of Jinmuk tales can be reappraised as accepting the oral secular tradition that conveyed the wishes of the people. In other words, compared to the IHRPJ, which reflects only the harmonious content of Confucianism and Buddhism due to political and social factors, The Canonical Scripture reflects oral traditions that were widespread during the late Joseon Dynasty. As evidence, it can be suggested that there are many narratives about the relationship between Jinmuk and Bonggok that center on Bonggok's jealousy and the murder of Jinmuk. Jeungsan aimed to encompass people of all classes according to their minds and wills rather than their political positions or statuses. Therefore, Jeungsan did not need to rewrite the narrative content that had been passed down via oral tradition. Instead he embraced those narratives as a projection of the voices of the people.
Films of the 1960s in both Korea and Egypt share many common characteristics. These include the main trend of such films' in addition to some of the political situations. This trend mainly relates to the adaptation of novels into films. In the late 1940s, Andre Bazin wrote his ideas about a similar phenomenon in Europe and the United States. Based on Bazin's thoughts and other examples for films adapted from novels in the 1940-60s, I found that the trend in both Korea and Egypt can be explained as an international phenomenon, in which film developed to a further stage due to a dialectic between content and form after the increase in the development of film techniques. The trend in Korea is believed to have led to the so-called golden era of Korean movies, while in Egypt films adapted from literature were not able to earn high profits, even though in a 1996 list of the best 100 Egyptian films, 23 had been adapted from novels. To explain the reasons behind this phenomenon, I looked into the internal demand from filmmakers themselves to further develop the industry through the articles written at that time. In addition, I explored the different situations and policies that influenced film production in both countries in the 1960s. I found that political situations and policies could have helped in the continuity of such trend, but it is difficult to consider these as the main reason for its creation, in contrast to the internal demand, which I believe is the main reason for the creation of such direction.
This paper is compare to the enjoyment of way on Si-jo and Ga-sa in Lyric poetry. Si-jo and Ga-sa were created in Joseon Dynasty. Si-jo and Ga-sa is the Lyric poetry in traditional genre, representing Korea. These forms include the lyric genre but have a difference between the fixed verse and the long-poem in Joseon Dynasty. However, the two genres are the two genres had opened the possibility of communication from the very beginning in terms of gentry layer is the main writers. Joseon Dynasty those who enjoy the fixed verse and the long-poem, the literature of singing songs and reciting literature, in terms of the principle of metaphor and metonymy rhetoric will reflect the era of awareness and enjoyment of contemporary perception of reality characters. It can be said that performing Si-jo and Ga-sa of enjoyment fashion and work to compare with realistic about the versification principles but check ahead a lot of data, and add to the task of finding a logic that can explain clearly remain. This paper will have to complement the many points made in an attempt to unravel the complex issues in an integrated and comprehensive on-pronged approach and enjoyment of the fixed verse and long-poem Si-jo and Ga-sa and similar expressions are writing and testing the various parties of the enjoyment of culture in today's era of change in the 21st century can be the compass to navigate a new world culture.
The purpose of this paper is to confirm how traditional legends are changing and existing in modern times, and how they are inheriting and developing legendary values and meanings. The subject of the study is uncanny stories concerning army that is judged to be worthwhile alongside uncanny stories concerning school. The uncanny stories concerning army are urban legends that are active in the internet. It can be defined as 'a narrative story that raises fear with supernatural and strange experiences in the army'. In addition to the internet community sites, humor sites and game sites are actively handed down. Recently, ghost stories have appeared on the site, and uncanny stories concerning army are easily collected from these various sites. The uncanny stories concerning army can be divided into three types: ghost experience type, Bulgogi GP type, mystery radio type. The ghost experience type has the largest number of version, the contents are rich and varied. It does not deviate much from the traditional notion of ghosts. Bulgogi GP type has a frenzied horror from its name. It is related to actual events and raises horror. Mystery radio type is a romantic material used in movies and dramas. However, unlike movies and dramas, uncanny stories concerning army are perceived as fearsome. The uncanny stories concerning army continues to emphasize that the story is actually experienced in the title and content. It has presented concrete evidence. The emphasis on truthfulness is intended to make fear more realistic. This comes from the desire for safety. Uncanny stories concerning army focus on horror. This study is on the creation of art works through the methodological process of deducting the experiences and inspired feeling which the researcher experienced in the subconscious level as well as the conscious level in the field of floral art creation. The scene setting technique was applied to seize inner experiences and feeling in subconscious level. More concretely, visual note technique and image research technique were applied to record and preserve scenes as the seized inner mental images. To delineate the contents, the researcher created art works based on the experiences during the preparation period at the small town of Tours in France as well as the competitive and tough every day life during the attendance at the fashion school of ESOMD International Paris. The researcher was able to create 5 art works of Deja Vu, 'ㅅ(Seoul-Paris)', '崩(A Mountain on Two Moons)', '燈 (Load out and Stay)', 'ㅇ'deducting the deep experiences and inspired feeling through the methodological process in the subconscious level as well as the conscious level. The researcher was able to explore inner experiences finding self in disquietude and process of personal realization through the creation. The meaning of this research could be found as a case of qualitative research which presents approaches utilizing method of deducting experiences in subconscious level and applying to the creation of art works.
