The Effect of OTT Characteristics on Perceived Value, User Satisfaction and Continuous Use Intention in OTT: Focusing on the Moderating Effect of Hedonic Innovativeness (OTT 특성이 지각된 가치, 사용자만족 및 OTT 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향 - 쾌락적 혁신성 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • As people spend more time indoors due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, content consumption is increasing, leading to the rapid demand for Over The Top(OTT) services. Thus, this study attempted to verify impacts of OTT traits on the value, satisfaction, and continuous use intention perceived by users. Through the survey, 437 responses were collected, and analysis was conducted using AMOS 26.0. Results found that the traits of OTT service had a positive effect on perceived value that had a positive effect on user satisfaction and continuous use intention. User satisfaction was also found to have a positive effect on the intention to continue using OTT services. Moreover, hedonic innovation moderated the relationships between OTT traits and perceived value with exception of ubiquity. The findings provide valuable information for OTT service providers in understading users' behaviors.

A Study on the Influence of Telephone Apprehension Affecting Continuous Use Intention of Mobile O2O Commerce (모바일 O2O 커머스 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 전화 불안감에 관한 연구)

  • The avoidance tendency of voice call in younger generation facilitates the growth of mobile O2O service that utilizes Messaging. This study adopted and elaborated original concepts of telephone apprehension to apply phone anxiety to O2O. We examined previous researches related to the ubiquity of service quality, communication ability and anxiety, and then conducted a survey to understand the consciousness of mobile O2O service users. The results show that users with high message intimacy and users with poor logicality are afraid of voice calls. The mobile O2O service is considered useful as a means to replace an unstable situation. In this study, we considered individual characteristics of acceptance factor of O2O mobile service technology, and it was a new attempt to expand telephone apprehension characteristic reflecting current situation. In addition, the different results of this research from prior studies that examined the relationships among apprehension, usefulness, and continuous use intentions might be helpful to expand and sophisticate the research area.

  • 편재형 컴퓨팅(pervasive computing)에서 컨텍스트에 대한 중요성은 점점 강조되고 있다. 편재형 컴퓨팅(pervasive computing) 환경에서 다양한 디바이스들은 사용자의 상황에 가장 적절한 서비스를 제공하기 위해 통신할 필요가 있는데, 특히 센서는 컨텍스트 데이터를 얻는데 효과적이다. 컨텍스트 정보를 얻기 위해 사용되는 센서들은 물리적인 센서들로부터 가상 센서까지 여러 가지가 있는데, 이러한 다양한 센서들을 관리하기 위해 센서 프레임워크가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 모바일에서의 센서 어플리케이션 표준인 JSR256을 기반으로 한 센서 프레임워크를 어플리케이션 개발자의 시각이 아닌 센서 개발자의 시각에서 분석하였다. 그리고 관련 문제점을 발견하여 다양한 센서들을 효율적으로 관리하고 새로운 센서 모듈을 용이하게 개발할 수 있는 센서 프레임워크를 제안하고 제시된 센서 프레임워크를 통한 재사용성을 검증해 보았다.

  • Location-based services have distinctive service characteristics compared to the past online commerce used on the desktop. In any place, mobile communication devices can be used to access online and utilize online shopping, and it is more convenient for users. In addition, by providing shopping and service information specific to each location, it is possible to provide convenience to the consumers according to their locations. In addition, it provides scarcity of information as well as location, thereby increasing consumers' desire to purchase. In this study, we investigated the effect of scarcity on the Purchase intention of consumers in location-based services. The steps of scarcity are: first, a step without scarcity, Second, providing time limit information, Third, providing quantity limitation information, Fourth, the experiment was designed to provide time and quantity limitation, and 4 groups were analyzed through experimental stimuli The purpose of this study is to verify the moderating effect of the dependent variable on the degree of scarcity by adding 'ubiquity', 'interactivity' and 'privacy' which are characteristics of location-based service. As a result of the analysis, scarcity of time and scarcity of quantity limitation scarcity stimuli showed a moderating effect on ubiquity, interactivity and consumer's purchase intention, and these variables also directly or indirectly affected positively. Consumer confidence was found to have a negative effect on consumers' purchase intentions.

Effects of Motivation-Hygiene Factors on Acceptance and Resistance of Mobile Facial Recognition Payment Services: Focusing on Chinese Users (모바일 안면인식결제서비스의 동기-위생 요인이 수용 및 저항에 미치는 영향: 중국 사용자를 중심으로)

  • Using Herzberg's motive hygiene theory, this study also investigated the influence of motivation factors and hygiene factors on acceptance and resistance of mobile facial recognition payment services, and the influence of consumer innovation as a parameter on acceptance and resistance from motivation factors and hygiene factors. A survey was conducted on Chinese users who had experience using mobile payment services. IBM SPSS Statistics 26 and SmartPLS 3.0 were used for statistical analysis. As a result of the analysis, the motivating factors of mobile facial recognition payment services have a positive (+) impact on acceptance, and there were no significant results on resistance. In addition, hygiene factors have been shown to have negative (-) effects on acceptance and positive (+) effects on resistance. Consumer innovation, which is a parameter in relation to motivation factors and acceptance and resistance, had a partial mediation effect, and a partial mediation effect was also seen in the relationship between hygiene factors and resistance, but no mediation effect was found in the relationship between hygiene factors and acceptance. The motivating factors found through research results such as rapidity, ubiquity, perceived usability, perceived ease of use, privacy concerns, security, status quo inertia, use barriers, and loss avoidance, which are factors of non-contact and hygiene, can be used as basic data for activating mobile facial recognition payment services.

  • 특수교육에 대한 기초적인 지식과 지도 방법의 이해 부족 및 특수아동의 학부모와의 상담여건이 조성되지 못하고 있는 실정에서 초등학교 통합학급 교사들은 일반학생들의 지도와 병행한 특수아동의 지도에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시 공간의 제약을 받지 않는 모바일 환경 속에서의 통합학급운영 시스템 설계를 하였다. 첫째, m-Learning환경에서 특수아동을 지도하는 통한학급교사에게 시간적, 공간적으로 효율적인 도움이 될 정보를 제공하는 폰페이지를 구성하였다. 둘째, 무선인터넷의 특징인 즉시성, 편재성, 보안성을 갖는 모바일환경의 폰페이지에 학부모와 특수아동에 대한 정보 교환 및 상담이 가능하게 하였다. 셋째, 아동을 통한 알림장 작성이 불가능한 특수아동을 위하여 폰페이지에 알림장을 만들고 학부모에게 학교에 관련된 정보와 학급 상황을 전달하도록 하였다. 넷째, 통합학급과 특수학급의 효율적인 운영을 위하여 지역별, 또는 교육청 단위의 특수교육지원센터의 SMS서비스를 강조하였다. 이러한 모바일통합학급운영시스템은 현장에서의 통합학급 교사들에게 특수교육에 대한 자신감과 특수아동의 학부모와의 체계적인 상담 기회를 제공하여 효율적인 통합학급을 운영하는데 많은 도움을 줄 것이다.

  • Recently, the area of ubiquitous has gained a great attention both in academics and in business organizations as we are entering an ubiquitous society where people can interact at "anytime" and "anywhere". To preoccupy the leading status for the next generation of IT technology, many countries such as Korea, Japan, and US are concerned the ubiquitous. In this tendency, companies want to identify what factors make people use ubiquitous in order to develop the effective ubiquitous service and to supply the higher quality service. However, prior researches on ubiquitous are focused on technical area such as higher data delivery, efficient compression of images, so they do not have given companies beneficial materials for making fascinating ubiquitous services. To offer the service materials for development, from the viewpoint of the customer, important factors to use ubiquitous services are investigated in this study. Moreover, the study was progressed up to the new area of investigation how much these factors influenced ubiquitous service actual usage. To achieve these goals, Ubiquitous service adopting reflected in ubiquitous service characteristics was suggested in this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, contextual offer, ubiquity, invisibility are positively related to perceived value. Second, perceived value is positively related to usage intention but perceived risk is negatively related to usage intention. Third, usage intention is positively related to usage frequency. Based on these results, managerial implications for ubiquitous service vitalization are discussed. Lastly, the limitation of this research and further research issues are suggested.

QoS-based P2P Streaming Protocol (QoS 기반이 P2P 스트리밍 프로토콜)

  • This paper proposes a P2P(Peer-to-Peer) streaming protocol which allows various QoS(Qualify of Service) requirements of video streaming to be supported for various personal IPTV applications in ubiquitous Internet environments. The proposed P2P streaming protocol takes fairly short startup delay, guarantees end-to-end delay bound and bandwidth requirements, and supports reliability level of video streaming for an IPTV application. The QoS-based P2P streaming protocol can properly use not only the advantages of scalability, availability, and ubiquity of P2P streaming but also complement its disadvantages of performance and reliability so that various types of personal IPTV applications can be properly implemented in the existing broadband Internet environments.

  • The mobile advertisement has varied on lifestyle of people, who live aninformation-oriented society with portable equipment such as web phone and PDA(Personal Digital Assistant). Also, the advertising has expended mobile techniques and its application field unpredictably. The intrinsic characteristic of misdistribution, reach, and convenience in mobile advertisement add up the capacity of a location, information and individualize. This market condition leads the basic audio focused formal mobile advertisement to the new mobile Internet environment with an additional able of data communication. Moreover, the type of SMS (Short Message Service), Graphic, Wep Push, and ridchmedia, which based on music, basic graphic, voice, and letters transfer by mobile terminal and the mobile character is present inevitably correlation with pixel art and animation in 2D(Two Dimensions) techniques. Thus, this research appoints the importance and its role of mobile advertisement that is core of the business marketing in new media era. To activate mobile market, the mobile companies classify the characteristic of consumers with developed commercial use of mobile character and research their behavior to meet optimal mobile character in business.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경에서 사용자는 언제 어디서나 주변에 편재하는 컴퓨팅 장치나 서비스를 활용하여 자신이 필요로 하는 작업을 수행할 수 있다. 이러한 컴퓨팅 장치와 서비스를 제어하기 위한 표준으로서 UPnP(Universal Plug and Play)가 각광을 받고 있다. 하지만, 기존에 개발된 UPnP 장치의 원격 제어 프로그램은 사용자의 상황 정보, 선호도 및 접근 권한에 관계없이 동일한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하기 때문에 사용자에게 편의를 제공하는데 있어 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 개발된 개인화 및 상황 인지를 지원하는UPnP 장치 원격 제어 프로그램의 설계 및 구현에 대해 기술한다. 제안된 원격 제어 프로그램은 사용자의 상황, 선호도 및 접근 권한에 따라 사용자 인터페이스(User Interface, UI)가 동적으로 생성되고 재구성된다. 또한 이러한 UI 개발의 편의성을 위하여 UPnP 장치 기술(description)에 따라 UI를 자동으로 생성하는 방법에 대해서도 기술한다.
