  • Today, SCM is used as a important tool of management innovation for enterprise's survival and development. BSC forces managers to focus on balanced measures of business performance that are most critical. The purpose of this study is to find out the determinants of SCM adoption through the analysis which examine the relationship among the key success factors, and business performance using the BSC perspective. This study also gives the suggestion for the effective SCM implementation in the korean companies. This study has been conducted using the data collected from 107 companies implementing SCM. By analyses of the questionnaires, empirical results shows that the implementation of SCM has positive effect on organizational performance with 4 perspectives of BSC. The contribution of this study is that it provides a conceptual framework and empirical evidence of the causal relationship between key success factors, and business performance with 4 perspectives of BSC concept. This study showed that more consideration are essential to obtain balanced business performance for companies with SCM adoption plan.

A Study on Small Area Variations of Hospital Services Utilization in Some Acute diseases -Focused on Gastric Diseases and Acute Appendicitis (일부 급성질환의 지역간 입원의료이용 변이에 관한 연구 -위장질환과 충수염질환을 중심으로-)

  • This study aims to provide an important base resource for the effective medical supply system construction by figuring out the characteristics and changes of admission medical use of gastritis in 160 middle treatment areas classified by 2008 patient examination resources, and by figuring out factors affecting on changes. As a result, in terms of admission rate according to sex and age standardization per small area, there were differences as EQ was 15.1 and CV was 0.4. Top 10 variations were mainly in rural areas. It showed significant positive relations between admission and the number of bed, doctor and special medical equipment per 10,000 population. It is recommended that the government set a priority in the management of regional bed supply and the distribution of efficient medical resources.

  • This study aims at investigating measures to vitalize the Pohang Yeongil New Port and its hinterland in the context of the post Covid-19 pandemic. To identify appropriate strategies, an SWOT analysis combined with fuzzy-AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) was applied for strategical priority. Among the SWOT factors, weaknesses and threats were found to be critical. At a more detailed level, the strategic priorities were given to insufficient infrastructure (W), neighboring ports (T), insufficient shipping network (W), low service level (W) and South-North Korea relationships (T). Given these results, several strategies to overcome core weaknesses and threats of the Pohang Yeongil Port were suggested. The results of this study may provide valuable insights for port policy makers.

  • To accurately forecast the supply and demand of harbor pilots, it is necessary to derive the determinants of demand because they are directly linked to securing the safety of ships and ports. The securing of an appropriate numbers of harbor pilots can create conflicts of interest among the pilots, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, and users of pilotage services as it is also a matter directly related to harbor pilots' income. Therefore, a measure is needed to ensure a suitable number of pilots can be maintained, through which high quality pilotage services can be provided. This can be achieved by deriving reasonable determinants for estimating and forecasting demand, which satisfy all stakeholders involved in pilotage service. To reveal the challenges posed by the current determinants regarding the demand for harbor pilots used by the Central Pilotage Operation Council, and arrive at solutions, this study derived three determining factors, namely the total annual average piloting time, the average working hours of pilots, and the current number of pilots. These were used to determine the demand for harbor pilots. This study used a survey and analysis of current determining factors, a questionnaire survey administered to the interested parties, a case study of selected countries, and so on, as the research methodology.

What kind of specialized services attract patients? (환자유치를 위한 특화서비스에 대한 연구)

  • Background: Competition among hospitals has intensified, because hospitals and beds are oversupplying and the global medical market has opened in Korea. Method: we developed questionnaires of the patient's satisfaction about 20 items. We surveyed 297 out-patients and 302 in-patients. We analyzed the descriptive statistics and regression by SPSS(Version 17) and Excel. Results: The relations with the patient's loyalty and the specialized hospital service are 1) Recommend to other person: FHR use and the assistant for follow-up treatment were related positively for out-patient and PHR and FHR use were related positively for out-patient. 2) Revisiting: PHR use and the need of an assistant for follow-up patients were related for them and the PayTV were negatively related. Conclusion: FHR, PHR and assistant system for follow-up patient's condition were very useful factors to increase patient's loyalty.

Effects of Self Leadership on the Customer Oriented Public Service: A Case of Local Government Public Officials (지방공무원 셀프리더십이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향)

  • Main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the self-leadership of local public officials on the customer-oriented public service provision. Structural Equation Model was applied to analyze the relationship between self leadership and customer oriented public service attitude. Positive structural relationships between self-leadership and customer-oriented attitude was confirmed from empirical analysis. While variable job-satisfaction took intermediating role between self-leadership and customer-oriented attitude. The result implies that behavioral approach might be a more effective policy measure to improve citizen's satisfaction for public services. For a extended periods, Korean government introduced various institutional arrangements to improve the customer satisfaction for public service. However, the result was not satisfactory. The result of this study suggest behavioral approach to improve public service customer satisfaction.

  • 최근 빗물이 우리가 앞으로 이용할 수 있는 수자원이라는 사회적인 인식의 변화와 함께 빗물이용이 더욱 요구되어졌다. 특히 빗물의 이용 저류 침투를 목적으로 하는 우수 관리에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 빗물이용시설의 설치, 운용의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 이에 반해 화재발생은 해마다 증가하고 있으며, 화재 증가는 소방력 활동의 증가로 귀결되는데 현장활동 인력과 장비 그리고 화재를 진압하는데 사용되는 소방용수 증가를 의미한다. 따라서 본 연구는 빗물을 소방용수로 즉, 화재진압시 활용 가능성과 수자원 절약, 화재 사각지역 해소 측면을 살펴보기 위해서 통계분석, 현장조사, 기존 빗물이용시설 및 향후 완공 예정인 우수유출저감시설 활용과 소방용수 미설치 지역과 소방관서 옥상에 빗물이용시설 설치 방안을 제시하였으며, 그에 따른 공공서비스 확대와 경제성 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 기존 빗물이용시설을 소방용수로 적극적으로 활용해야 한다. 빗물이용시설의 주 용도로 조경용수, 청소용수, 소방용수로 나눌 수 있는데 이수 측면에서 화재가 발생하지 않으면 소방용수로서 이용이 거의 없는 실정이다. 이는 해당 건물관계자나 소방대원들이 빗물이용시설을 인식을 못하고, 사용과 접근성 불편으로 상수도와 연결된 소화전에 의존하는 경우가 많다고 본다. 둘째, 상수도시설이 없는 지역은 빗물이용으로 소방용수를 확보해야 한다. 섬, 산간, 고지대, 농촌지역 등 상수도 서비스를 공급받지 못하는 지역은 화재발생시 수원확보곤란으로 인명과 재산피해의 증가요인으로 작용할 수 있다. 공공서비스 확대차원에서 화재 사각지역을 해소하기 위해 지붕면을 이용한 각 가정마다 또는 공동 빗물저장소와 지형의 비탈면을 이용한 빗물이용시설 설치로 소방용수 확보의 필요성을 확인했다. 셋째, 소방관서 신설시 빗물이용시설을 도입하여 설치한다. 화재통계와 현장조사를 통하여 소방차 출동대기부터 화재진압까지 많은 양의 물이 사용되는 것으로 파악되었다. 대부분 먹는 물 즉, 상수도를 이용한다는 점에서 수자원 절약과 화재진압에 사용된 물은 재생 불가능이라는 환경보전 측면에서 빗물이용으로 해답을 찾아본다. 따라서 빗물을 많이 저장할 수 있도록 옥상, 부지 등 집수면적을 확대하고 이에 적합한 저류시설을 갖춘 빗물이용시설을 설치한다. 끝으로 신속하고 효율적인 화재진압이 중요한 만큼 빗물을 소방용수로 활용하고자 할 때는 언제 어디에서나 현장 접근성, 사용 편리성, 충분한 수량을 고려해야한다.

A Study on Factors Affecting Vender's Continuous Use Intention in O2O Delivery App Platform Service (O2O 배달 앱 플랫폼 서비스에서 공급 업체의 지속이용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, delivery app services based on the O2O platform are increasing rapidly. Accordingly, various studies on O2O service have been conducted. Most of the studies are on consumer behavior in O2O services, and few studies on platform vendors have been conducted. Therefore, this study empirically analyzed the factors affecting the vender's intention to continuous use in the O2O delivery app platform service. Based on prior researches, we set the quality characteristics and network characteristics of the O2O platform as independent variables. The quality characteristics of the O2O platform consisted of system quality, information quality, and service quality, and the O2O platform network characteristics consisted of network externality and platform reputation. Perceived value and switching cost were set as mediated variables, and vender's intention to continuous use was set as dependent variables. For empirical analysis, we conducted a survey targeting vendors of O2O delivery app platform service, and conducted frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis. As a result of the analysis, the quality characteristics of the O2O platform, such as system quality, information quality, service quality, and O2O platform network characteristics, showed that network externality and platform reputation had a positive effect on perceived value. The perceived value was found to have a positive effect on the switching cost and the intention to continuous use, and the switching cost was found to mediate the perceived value and the intention to continuous use. This study can contribute to the establishment of platform operation strategy as an empirical analysis on the factors that influence the intention of O2O platform vendors to use the platform continuously.

  • The purpose of this article is to discuss about the service functions and strategies that Korean libraries should develop and practice for the aged baby-boomers, who are going to become an central force among the Korean Elderly. To the end, the first discussion is about the usual problems that Korean baby-boomers are facing with in their daily life. Secondly investigated are the universal characteristics in their information needs and seeking behavior. And the third discussion is on identifying both various cases and structural causes of information poverty that Korean baby-boomers have been troubled with. And finally suggested are strategic guidelines for the librarians who are willing to develop and practice library services specialized for baby-boomers.
